The Untouched Heart

The Untouched Heart
Chapter 95 - That's my Name

“Do not misunderstand.” Hendra tried to explain. I crossed my hands in front of my chest. “I'm not mad at you or anything you think. When I called this dog, he only responded with that name. I accidentally mentioned your name. I've used all the female names I've heard, she's silent.”

“There are many names and you still have to name Ara?” I just don't believe it. The dog barked at me. “Why don't you just call Zahara? Let you be satisfied.” The dog barks back happily. He looked at me while moving his tail. Oh. Lord.

Hendra put on a smile. “It looks like he also likes your first name.”

“You're silent. Ara, Zahara, those two names are mine.” The dog made me even more upset by barking twice. He came up to me, then kissed my feet. “Away from me. Don't comenear. I'm just pissed off. That's myname. My name!”

Hendra laughed with satisfaction. He went into the bathroom leaving me alone with the dog. I growled slowly. Even though I had forbidden it, the dog followed me closer to my suitcase that had been placed on the sofa so I just opened it. I took a deep breath seeing not a single pajama in it, all of them sleeping dresses. Yuyun. I'll make a calculation with him later.

I waited in annoyance while sitting on the edge of the bed. The dog just kept sniffing my legs trying to recognize my smell. Actually I want to hold her and caress her hair that must be soft. But knowing our names were the same, I felt very annoyed at him. Even if I knew that this wasn't his fault.

When the bathroom door finally opened, I walked over to take a shower. But my steps stopped seeing Hendra only wearing a towel that he wrapped around his hip. I swallowed heavily. Yeah, God. No matter how long we parted, the effect that her body had on me did not diminish.

Her wet hair was visible from water droplets falling from the ends of her hair. His face looks fresh. Then the chest of his field tempted me to touch it. I fasted for three years from touching and kissing her. Three long and very painful years.

“Za.” Jemari flicked in front of me. “Halo, are you taking a shower or not?” My dirty daydreams are gonna go away. I must be in my fertile days. Otherwise, my head wouldn't have thought that slovenly. I shook my head and immediately went into the bathroom. The cold water will help me to think clearly. I heard Hendra laughing as he closed the door. Sucks.

After the shower, I heard the sound of television coming from the front room. I was considering whether I should go out of the room or go straight to bed. But I'm not sleepy yet. My silk coat is too thin, I don't want her to think that I want to tease her. So I took a bath coat and put it on. This is better.

Hendra sat on the sofa with both feet on the table. Can he sleep comfortably on that couch? His body was tall, the sofa could not even accommodate him. I looked around me, there was only one more door that I was sure was a barn or a bathroom. The bed in the main room is quite large. We could have slept together, but I could not believe that I would be strong not to be tempted to touch it. So, you better not.

“Do you need anything?” asked Hendra as I sat not far from his side. The little dog curled up on his lap. If only I could do the same. Ouch. The thought again. I immediately shook my head.

“Good. Tell me if you need anything. There is a store that is open twenty-four hours on the ground floor.” He misunderstood my head, but I didn't do it.

“You like to watch movies about animals?” many surprised.

“Not me. A, I mean, this dog likes it.” He must have wanted to mention Ara's name earlier. The anger that had disappeared suddenly returned. I sat back and stared at the television screen to calm myself down. There is no point in arguing anymore. My body was tired, but somehow my eyes were not sleepy. “So, who's that guy named Dicky? Your new boyfriend?”

I looked at him for a moment before I went back to watching the movie. He waited for my answer without taking his eyes off me. “I will only answer questions about Hadi and Dira, not with my personal life. We're divorced, did you forget?”

“You have told me all about them in detail until there is no gap for me to ask,” he said. “Therefore I asked about you.”

“You can ask about my book. Don't ask about other men.” I deliberately looked at him to notice his reaction. Yep. His jaw immediately stiffened as I mentioned about the other man. She jealous. I don't know why I'm happy to know that he's still giving the same reaction to that one.

“You are not my husband, please buy his book if you want to read it,” I said indifferently.

“I send enough money to pay for all your personal needs every month and I can't get one free book from you?” tanyanya did not believe. “Again you already know that I do not have time just to walk to the bookstore.”

“OK, okay. I'll ask Liando to deliver one book here tomorrow.” I relented. He smiled with satisfaction.

“So much better.” He held the little dog, stood up, and laid it on a tiny bed in the shape of a baby shoe. Very amusing. Why didn't I just look at him? “You want to drink or eat something? I want to take chips.”

“I also want,” I reply quickly. He came back with a packet of chips for me and a glass of water.

“You have a choice of specific movies?” he switched television channels.

“Suspense or thriller if any.” I put a piece of chips in my mouth. Hendra looked at me. He must have been surprised to hear me mention the genre.

“Not do you like romantic movies?” tanyanya's confused.

I grunt softly. “I don't really like that kind of movie even though I'm a romantic novel writer.”

“Any. I just found out.” He changed the television channel. I asked him to come back as he went through the right channel. “This is horror, not suspense.”

“What's up? You afraid of ghosts?” manya tease him.

“It wasn't me who was afraid to go to the bathroom by myself after watching a horror movie in the cinema. It's not me who thinks that there are creatures under the bed when it sounds from under the bed.” I sat down and looked around us. She laughs.

“You're really upsetting.” I hit his arm.

“You started it.” he said in self-defense. “So, are you serious about watching this movie?” I looked back at the screen. It's a suspense movie not a horror movie, so I'm safe. I nodded slowly. “Good. Risk is borne alone.”

The movie I've seen a few times, so it's a safe choice. The nice thing about watching with Hendra is that he doesn't talk as long as the movie is playing. Although she was eager to discuss something, she chose to be quiet until the commercial break appeared or the movie was finished.

“Zach said, You had dinner with your mother and a woman yesterday. Is she your boyfriend? Are you getting married soon?” aska I want to know.

“I will only answer questions about work, not with my personal life. We're divorced, did you forget?”
