The Untouched Heart

The Untouched Heart
Chapter 140 - New School

What Hendra did was too much. They don't need to say sorry to our son. The important thing is they admit their mistakes and treat Hadi well, that is enough. But seeing the young man smiling back and not bowing his head anymore due to their rejection and evil words, I understood.

Hendra does not care about the feelings or self-esteem of others. All he had in mind was to restore his son's pride. Hadi was innocent, so she should not have received all their treatment and rude remarks that they had actually addressed to me.

After the last man out, Hendra took care of Hadi's move to another Kindergarten. The clerk said nothing and took care of everything in less than five minutes. Our son, who walked with his head raised as he entered the school, raised his head even higher as we walked out.

“Are you sad to have to change schools?” he asked when we were in the car.

“Sad, Pa. I can't see my friends anymore. But I do not want to be close to people who do not want to be close to me,” he replied slowly.

“How about you go to school with Colin?” asked Hendra after glancing a moment at me. I nodded in agreement. He knows what's best for the kids.

“Really, Pa?! Horeee …! Want, Pa. Colin's a good boy!” cheer Hadi. He hugged Hendra and was engrossed in telling her about the things she had discussed with her new friend.

My mouth was wide open looking at the huge building. How much does school cost in a place this big? There are basketball, volleyball, as well as running and cycling tracks in the middle of which are football fields. I don't know what other facilities are in this school.

The security guard was very friendly and took us to the principal's room. And I was surprised to see who greeted us there. The man laughed and let us sit down.

“Ka-you are the owner of this school?” I just don't believe it.

“I'm just the principal. Not the owner.” Will is still laughing. My face must look funny.

“Stop flirting with my wife. Quickly complete his administrative affairs. I have to go to the office,” said Hendra impatiently. “And do not forget the bonus you promised if I managed to bring one student to enter this school.”

“What? Hendra, this is your own son,” Will said in disbelief.

“You did not mention there are any terms and conditions that apply when saying that. I came with my lawyer, do we need to talk black over white?” hendras said threateningly.

“OK, okay. You calculate once with your own friend.” Will looked towards Hadi. “Hadi, you will be treated very well here. You will have many friends, including Colin, a teacher who is ready to teach, and staff who will help you. If you have any problems, report immediately to the teacher, the staff, to me as well. Tell the security guard to have him drive you here.”

“If you are reluctant, you should report to your parents. Don't be afraid of anyone. Okay well? If there is a bad one, just report it,” Will said in a serious but relaxed tone.

“Okay, Mr. Lewis.” Hadi smiled happily.

“Smart child.” Will rubbed his head.

We followed Will as he showed me where Hadi's classroom was. The room looks comfortable and fun with a closet full of toys and children's reading books. The walls are filled with paintings of animals and plants.

The study hours for his class are over, so he can only start tomorrow. Will offers Hadi to come with him while going to school while we are still living in the apartment. He can go home with his driver as usual. Hendra agreed to the proposal. Will mentioned some money as a delivery fee. My husband looked at her sharply. Will laughed and said he was just joking.

“Is Colin in his apartment alone?” ask me to realize I didn't see his son from earlier. Will shook his head slowly.

“She's in daycare,” she replied. I looked at my husband. He looked at me and Will alternately before sighing softly, relented. Then he nodded his head.

“If you don't mind, Colin can stay with us until you finish work. Hadi and Dira would love to have a playmate at home.” I offered that proposal to Will. The man rounded his eyes.

“You're serious? Colin can be with you until I get home from work?” tanyanya did not believe. Hendra and I nodded their heads. “Colin will be very happy. He likes Hadi.”

“Thank you. Although this is for a while, I am very grateful.”

Gee. I didn't expect everything would be sorted out so soon. My husband really knows how to use the power he has. Money and influence. I usually just protest to school and it's unthinkable to check their CCTV footage. Hendra was thinking further away from me. Maybe it was because he was used to dealing with something like this.

Hadi looks very happy now. It was very different from his expression since returning from his old school the day before. He must have been looking forward to studying and playing with Colin at his new school. Until the smile on his face continued.

“Ah, dear. I almost forgot. We don't have any snacks, coffee beans, and so on because we haven't been shopping. Cabinet in our apartment is empty.” We almost got to the apartment building.

“Iya also. We moved out suddenly and haven't bought anything yet. I'll have Liando come and accompany you to the supermarket.” Hendra pulled his phone out of his pocket.

“No need. We could shop at the supermarket near the apartment. Just a minute, honey. The kids are definitely asking for a snack and we have nothing.” The supermarket will be over soon.

“Honey,” said Hendra objected.

“Nothing will happen. I will report to the security section if something bad happens to us.” Hendra seemed to be considering my sentence.

“Kafin, turn left.” He gave orders to his driver.

“Thank you, dear.” I touched his hand.

“Horeee …! Ma, I want potato chips!” cheers Hadi saw the place we were going.

“You can buy anything, but if Mama says no, you must obey. Papa's not coming, so you have to take care of Mama and Dira, don't cry or whine there. Do you understand?” hendra said in a serious tone.

“Understanding, Pa.” Hadi hugged his father. We exchanged meaningful views. His mouth said understand, but everything could change inside later.

“Thank you so much for today, sir,” I said to Mr. Oscar as I was about to get out of the car

“Thank you back, Bu.” He smiled at me.

“Thank you, baby. Be careful on the road.” I kissed her back. He looked at me for a moment.

“Call me as soon as you guys are in the apartment,” he said. I'm nodding. “Come.” He gives the trolley grip where Dira is already sitting sweetly on a special toddler stand that is near the handle and Hadi holds the right side of the trolley. We waved to him.

We passed rack by shelf in the snack section. Hadi and Dira pointed to the food they wanted. I'm just following some of the ones they're sure to eat. The rest I refuse because they won't like the taste. I was stunned to feel the pain in my ass. I turned my head and saw a man walking with a woman by his side.

“Sorry.” Called him. The man kept on not listening to me. There is no one else behind me, so he is the only suspect. There's no way that woman did it. I turned the trolley and chased after them. “Sorry, Sir. Hola! Father wearing black sweatshirt.”

The woman looked back at her husband's shirt, then she looked at me. The man still pretended not to understand. They turned around and both looked at me in confusion. I walked closer.

“What did you mean to do that earlier?” I hold back my anger. He put on an innocent face.

“Do what?” tanyanya's confused. I laughed in disbelief.

“Father squeezes my ass.”
