Chapter 144 - Honorable Woman

“You all right?” he asked when we were in the car. I was stunned for a moment. What just happened. “Honey? You okay?”

“A,” I said slowly. “They squeezed my butt, some held my back.” Hendra looked at me with angry eyes. He looked all over my body.

“Why didn't you say? Did anyone do that to you? They're in the crowd?” tanyanya. I'm nodding. “Berrengjeks. What's inside their heads?”

“I'm not a cheap woman, Hendra,” I said slowly. She shook her head.

“Darling, of course not. You are an honorable woman. Mahendra Mighty's wife was an honorable one. They won't get away from me. Don't worry, yeah. I'll punish them all.” He caressed my face. I nodded slowly.

“Think of something fun. We're gonna have a third little angel in our house. Focus on your health. Let me handle all those bad guys. They were all brave in front of the crowd. You've seen for yourself what your assailants did at the supermarket. They just looked down not daring to look at you.”

And that's what I do. I focus on my health. I kept reminding myself that I wouldn't be ruined because of them. Vivaldo is evil. So wicked. He said in the interview that I was not satisfied with my husband and sought satisfaction from other men. Now everyone thinks that I'm a cute girl who wants to be touched by any man.

Hendra showered me with so much love, helping me to focus on our baby. He always came home with a bouquet of flowers and a basket of fruits. Will suspects something, but he just smiles meaningfully and says nothing.

He didn't always come home on time after the last class. Sometimes Will comes to pick up Colin along with Hendra. Naturally he was suspicious because after a few days Hendra always came home at night, suddenly he came home quickly. His office special has not yet been completed.

“Waahh …! Mama is so beautiful!” praise Hadi as I come out of the room. I wore a soft blue evening dress, complete with a diamond necklace that Hendra gave me. My hair is beautifully styled with spirals on the ends and my face is covered with soft colors. The ivory-white high-heeled shoes enhanced my appearance.

I had a big fight with Hendra over these shoes but I came out as the winner. People can be suspicious seeing me wearing flat heels. There are only two major events that I will be attending this week. After that, I will continue to wear flat heels.

“Mommy's child is much more handsome.” I smiled satisfied to see him perform perfectly with his tuxedo, matching with his papa.

“Princess mommy is beautiful once.” I kissed Dira who was wearing a dress the same color as me. He laughed happily.

“You two are just as beautiful.” Hendra kissed my lips. Then he put his face close to my ears. “I'm still angry with the shoes you're wearing.” I laughed amusedly.

We headed to a hotel and saw a large banner covering a third of the magnificent building. Happy birthday to my husband's family-owned company. There were so many reporters covering the event but they were only allowed to be in front of the hotel entrance. No one is inside.

Without answering the questions they asked, we stood in front of them for some time and let them take our photos together. Only those who hate me and do not have good eyesight cannot see my husband's resemblance on our children's faces. Hendra thanked them and invited me to the hotel.

A beautiful woman dressed no less beautifully as me greeted us and escorted us to the hall. My husband's secretary was young but he was very polite to me and Hendra. She didn't have the same look as Sherry looked at my husband. Hopefully that won't change.

The hall was already filled with guests I immediately recognized. It's been a long time since I've attended an event of this magnitude with Hendra. The look of admiration mixed with jealousy and hate is now a new sight for me. No one used to hate me. They were always amazed or jealous of me.

Hadi and Dira soon join Charlotte and Zeph who are also attending the event. Officially and Lindsey took their nannies with me, so I'm not worried about leaving the kids in their custody.

Even though my friends were present, I couldn't join them. I have to be at Hendra's side because we are the hosts of this event. We sat with Mom and Dad too. But we just greeted each other as necessary.

The host started the big celebration. Performance after appearance of the artist enliven the event, interspersed with various awards given to each employee according to the category they won. If Papa opens the event, then Hendra closes the event with a short speech.

Then Papa and a few people I know are those who have an important position in the company come on stage. The table was placed in front of Papa and Hendra, then they were asked to sign the file on it. Finally, the father and son shook hands as an official sign of the end of Papa's leadership and the beginning of the Hendra era.

A thunderous applause filled the hall. The celebration ended with dinner. The waiters who had prepared immediately headed for table after table to deliver the food. Papa and Hendra chatted casually, while Mama and I just listened.

“Honey, I went to the toilet for a while, yes,” I whispered to Hendra. He looked at me worriedly.

“I should have stayed to forbid you not to wear those shoes,”.

“I'll be careful. You are overreacting. I'll be right back.” I put the napkin on the table, he nodded his head.

The lady-only restroom was not crowded, so I could choose one empty room. I really hope one of my friends will be in this room so we can talk for a moment. It turns out they don't exist. I was tired of just sitting quietly without being able to talk to Papa and Mama as closely as before.

After washing my hands and making sure that my appearance was still neat, I came out of the toilet. My steps stopped when someone stopped in front of me. I raised my head and met a man. I don't know him.

“Do you need someone tonight to warm your bed?” asked the man with a smile on his face.

“If one is not enough, we can both satisfy you simultaneously,” said another man whom I did not realize was standing by his side.

“Sorry, I'm not that kind of woman.” I retreated and walked to the right which I could still pass, but the second man shifted so that I could not walk. “Please, let me pass.”

“No need to be shy like this. Is it because we are not muscular, then you think we will not be able to satisfy you in bed?” The second man tried to touch my cheek. I'm retreating.

I look around me. Where's everybody going? Why is this corridor suddenly deserted? Does no one intend to use the toilet after some time following the event? As far as I know there were still some women who used the bathroom before me.

“I don't need anything, so, please, let me pass.”

“Hendra must have treated you dearly. Did he ask for a fee from a man who would sleep with you? We have money if that's what you're worried about. We will not sleep with you for free,” said the first man, touching my hair. I'll step back immediately.

“Have two kids and your body is still good. My wife alone could not come back like this after our first son was born. It turns out that the secret is to have sex with many men. Great also he can bear to see his wife with other men.” The second man tried to touch my cheek again. I can't take it anymore.

“Toloong!!” I screamed with all my might. They immediately shut my mouth and held my hand. What the hell's going on? Where's everybody going?
