The Untouched Heart

The Untouched Heart
Chapter 201 - Reproof

“What!? You already know that the security guards forbid him from entering, but you mindlessly let Nora in, not only to your yard but also to the front room? And you're just the two of you in that room!?” peekik Qiana was annoyed.

“Have you forgotten that he is capable of doing anything to get everything he wants? You have put your own life at risk simply because of the pity for the person who does not care about you at all, Zahara!” lindsey doesn't want to lose.

“He carried a sharp weapon, you dodged instead of shouting for help? What are you really thinking? You should have Abdi or Liando accompany you while talking to him in this room. CCTV it will not be able to help you when your life is threatened,” said Darla fierce.

I opened my mouth to say something. “Do not try to defend yourself and say that the important thing is all done.” The three of them said it almost simultaneously.

“I have to talk about this with Hendra. He's too soft on his wife. Look, he hasn't changed at all. Still trifling all his enemies.” Qiana and Lindsey agreed to Darla's remarks. I ended up just keeping quiet and letting them vent their anger on me.

Dira sitting on my lap suddenly laughed. They were silent for a moment. They laughed and stopped scolding me. We enjoy snacks and drinks that are no longer warm while talking about the fate of Nora. I told them about Hendra's plans with his lawyers.

They went home and decided not to have dinner with us. Their long advice was given to me before they got into their cars. I knew that I had made a big mistake, so I just kept enjoying the affection they showed through their anger.

Hadi and Dira were getting ready since the morning. They can't wait to go to the zoo with their cousins and om. I wear shirts, shorts, and sneakers to make it easier for them to move. I put their hats in the backpack that Hadi carries who knows they need them later.

As soon as they heard the sound of cars entering our yard, they immediately ran towards the front door. I just shook my head to look at the behavior of the two of them. This is not the first time they have gone to the zoo, but their enthusiasm remains the same.

“See you later, Brother,” said Officially who waved his hand to me. He just opened the window of his car. Zach who was sitting by his side waved his hand at me. Liando helped Hadi in and helped Dira to sit in his special chair.

“Be careful,” I said to Zach. He just answered okay. The kids wave their hands. Hendra and I stood waiting until their car came out of the front gate.

“We go to Papa's house now?” tanyakanya. I nodded quickly. Since I wouldn't be able to accompany Mama as I normally would, then we came this morning so we could date on the rest of the day before the kids came back. Hendra had not seen his mother for a long time.

Ara let out her sad voice as she was left alone at home. What can we do, we can't take him to the mall. Papa and Mama would not mind accepting it in their home, but she would be more comfortable if left at home with people she already knew well.

Papa greeted us with a happy face. Mom waited in the sitting room and greeted us with a smile. We chatted together which was more monopolized by Papa and Hendra. My mom and I smiled when they talked about work.

“I have never been wrong in judging people before, but I have to admit that this time I have made a mistake,” Mama said slowly. We set our sights on him. This was the first time that Mama had admitted her mistake. Ever since Nora's foul intentions were revealed for the first time, Mama kept siding with her and did not apologize.

“Why do you see me like this? I'm not a ghost. I know that I'm being stubborn, but I still have ethics. I know when it's time to admit that I was wrong.” My mom looked at me with a dislike face. “Hendra, Zahara, forgive me for bringing Nora into your life and causing so many problems.”

“Mama we have long forgiven. After all Nora will definitely make it into our lives, sooner or later.” Hendra looked at me.

“What do you mean? Why did you say that?” ask Mama confused.

“Because they have long planned to be close to Mama. They realize they can't hide Nora's identity forever. So, they used Mama to marry me to Nora. Even if Mama refuses, they will definitely find a way to get your support again. My mother's weak point is Zahara. They know it and take advantage of it,” replied Hendra. Mama just shut up.

“So they plan to marry their daughter to you so they can still live a luxurious life?” ask Papa. Hendra confirmed his assumption. “I've suspected that their intentions are not sincere when they have absolutely no regrets about having damaged the image of our family in front of so many people. They didn't even apologize for their daughter's actions.”

“The parents and daughter are the same,” Mama said slowly. He put his hand on his stomach. “I'm hungry. How about we have lunch now?”

“We didn't have lunch with Papa and Mama.” Hendra put his hand on my shoulder. “I'll bring my wife a date.” He smiled so happily.

“You can date later. The chef has prepared a lot of food for all of us. After all Zahara must accompany me before I take a break,” Mama said firmly while standing and Papa stood with her. Papa avoided the gaze of me and Hendra, obviously unwilling to help by defending us.

“Mama can't do this. Mama's been hogging my wife from Monday to Friday, even on weekends I can't have time? Za and I are going on a date. Papa and Mama can have lunch together,” Hendra insisted.

“Didn't you guys come before lunch to eat with us? We have spoken at length, you must be hungry. Today is Saturday, traffic is heavy. You guys have lunch with us.” Mama doesn't want to lose. Hendra glanced at his watch.

“It's not even twelve, Ma. We still have plenty of time to go to the mall and have lunch there. Me and Za are going on a date,” said Hendra stubbornly. I looked towards Papa expecting him to tear them both apart. But he still pretended not to see.

“Good. Because of Zahara we're talking about, we let her decide.” Mom looked towards me. Oh, dearGod. I swallowed heavily. Why should I also be involved in this mother and child quarrel? “How, Zahara? Are you going to have lunch with us, then accompany me for gymnastics or go on a date with your husband?”
