“Fucking woman! How dare you push me back!” Hearing that voice, I opened my eyes and saw Keva looking at me sharply, full of anger. His hands were now on both sides of my head, pulling my hair. “Hendra is mine!”
“Hey, stop!” I was so relieved to hear that voice. Liando held onto both of Keva's wrists, while I still held her hand so as not to pull my hair.
“Let me go! A lowly man like you doesn't deserve to hold me! Release!” Keva rebelled so hard that he hurt me.
Thankfully, people started coming to help us. Keva finally let go of his hand grip on my hair. The security guards took him away from us. Liando approached me. The first thing I was worried about was the envelope I accidentally dropped.
Liando looked at the floor and picked up the trampled envelope. Not problem. The important thing is that the documents inside are safe. I opened it and checked the contents. Ja. Everything is still in the envelope. The main one is the forensic report.
“They're okay?” ask Liando. I nodded slowly. I look around me. Those people had already left were dispersed by him.
“I have to tidy up for a while. Please, hold this for me.” We walked to the ladies' room. I looked at my reflection in the mirror and was almost hysterical. My hair is so messy. I am grateful to have straight hair so it is not difficult to tidy it up.
We headed to the security room and found Keva still in custody at the post. He immediately stood up and pointed his hands at me. Stupid jerk. He's just complicating himself. There were many witnesses who saw that he was a dangerous man to me. That could be proof to at least lock him up for a few days in custody.
A police car entered the hospital parking lot and a security officer came to escort them. Without saying what happened, they just pointed to the CCTV footage that was in the room. The police asked for a copy of the footage and took Keva with them.
“I'm innocent! Why are you guys taking me like a criminal? Don't you guys know who I am? Release!” Keva tried to dodge when they were about to take him. Seeing that they had to handcuff his hand. “You should have caught him too! He has hurt me!”
“It is fitting that I hurt you for recklessly taking advantage of my sleeping husband. Women are shameless. Hendra will never be yours. He is my husband and I don't plan to give it to anyone. You hear that?” I said I don't want to lose. Handcuffing his hands, they took him away.
“Our business is not finished, Zahara. I'll kill you if it's necessary,” growled. The police officers exchanged looks. I smiled hearing it. Did he not realize that I was deliberately fishing for him?
In the hospital yard there was a sea of reporters that made me tremble. How am I gonna get home later? Keva who was dragged by two police officers became their target. Who does not know this woman? She often appears in various media outlets for replacing her husband as the lead director. It's the perfect revenge.
If he wants to find someone to blame, he can blame himself. If he had left peacefully earlier, none of this would have happened. Turns out he's still in the hospital and waiting for a chance to hurt me. What a strange woman. If I hadn't pushed him earlier, he might have kissed my husband's lips.
Hopefully Hendra can come home tomorrow. The hospital is not safe for us. Not to mention the journalist who was hungry with news had shrouded his page. After the police car left, Liando and I returned to the waiting room where Hendra's room was.
“I'll call my sister for a minute,” I said to the two of them. They nodded. I chose Zach's contact number and waited until he answered.
“Yes, Brother?” greet Zach who answered on the first ring.
“Can you please tell Mr Oscar to stop by the police station? I didn't save his contact number. Keva was in the hospital and he was taken there.” I told him what he had done earlier and what evidence the officers had brought with them.
“OK, Brother. My brother's message will be delivered. Please, be careful there,” he said worriedly. We ended the phone call, and then I invited the two men near me to dinner together in Hendra's room.
As usual, we ate in silence. Hendra ate while looking at me intently. I asked him what was going on, but he wouldn't answer. Then I didn't ask further. After eating, we were both in the room. I waited for him to fall asleep so he could go home.
“Do you still think about women?” tanyanya slow. Both hands hold both hands. Ooo, that's what he was thinking.
“Really? Papa and Mama must be happy we can stay with them again.” I frowned hearing that sentence. Ah, I got it. She did not know that after marriage, we chose to live alone.
“No, dear. We have our own house. We didn't stay with your parents after we got married,” I told him. Now he's the one who frowned.
“Why don't we stay with them anymore? Does Mom or Dad not like you? They treated you badly behind my back?” tanyanya's worried. I'm laughing a little. If he knew how dear his parents were to me.
“You want us to be able to more freely do whatever the newlyweds do. That's why you want us to stay alone in our own home,” I said explaining.
“Iya. That sounds like the way I think.” He laughed amusedly. I smile. Her eyes fell on my lips, and she pulled me closer. He didn't stop until our lips met. “I love you, Za.”
“I love you too.” I kissed her again. He smiled happily.
“Tonight, you slept here with me, huh?” her door.
“Can't, baby. You need rest and there is no bed here for me to lay.” I pointed around us.
“This bed is big enough to lie down together,” she said half teasing me. “It's exactly this better, so you can't get all the way from me.”
“Only for one night. Don't forget, you can go home tomorrow. We have many nights to sleep together.” I try to give him understanding. She's pouting. I'm laughing a little. “You know that you are too old to be so childish, ‘kan?”
“Who knows you changed your mind out of pity for me, so there's no harm in trying.” He pulled me closer until I was in his arms, then he showered me with a kiss.
“Darling, be careful. You can hurt yourself,” I said reminding him. He closed my mouth with his kiss. I laughed half, half returning the kiss.
The bedroom door was knocked, and a nurse entered. I pulled away to get away, but Hendra held me back with both of his hands coiled around my body. The sister's face flushed looking at our position. He apologized, placed the container filled with medicine on the nightstand, then hurriedly came out. Hendra and I looked at each other and laughed together.
The kids were happy when I told them that their papa was coming home. They immediately struggled to prepare for what they would show him. If only they knew that Hendra could not remember them.
Oh. I haven't told him about our two children either. I have to do it immediately so that he is not surprised to see Hadi and Dira later.
As on the previous day, Papa and Mama had already arrived at the hospital. I can already imagine their struggle passing through the crowd of reporters who were at the entrance of the hospital. Sakti was planning to go through the side door, but they were there as well. So, coming in from any door, we have to get through them.
Both doctors agreed that Hendra could resume treatment at home after they checked her condition. We thank them. I am so glad my husband is better. I just need to make an appointment with the physiotherapy department to send people to accompany my husband to continue therapy at home.
“Are you happy, Son?” ask Mama with a happy face. “You will come home with us. It will be easier for you because we have prepared a room for you downstairs. Zahara can come every day like she did as long as you are cared for here.”
Something is wrong. Hendra looked at me coldly, not as warm as the day before. What the hell's going on? Does he remember anything less than pleasant about me? Of the many mistakes I've made, which one did he just remember?
