I was sitting limp when I heard the report from Liando. My husband found out about what happened that night and asked him the truth. Hendra did not fully trust Aldo, so he confirmed it to the driver who accompanied me that day.
“I'm sorry, Madam. I have made a big mistake.” Liando knelt on the floor.
“No. Please, don't do this. Be sitting. You didn't make any mistakes. I am the guilty one. There's no point in you lying and hiding what happened that night from Hendra. Sooner or later, he'll find out too.” He complied and sat down.
“If he finds out that you lied to him, you will lose your job. I don't want to trouble you guys because I'm my own. Don't worry about me or my husband. We will solve the problems between us without involving you,” I said promise.
I don't know what Hendra will do next. He said that he would not divorce me and set me free to do anything with another man. Was he saying it just because he was angry or was this the final decision? I'm calm when we stay together, I still have a chance to get her love back.
But if he keeps avoiding me, then we're just like a divorced couple. He asked Abdi to move his clothes and personal belongings to another room. He and I did not sleep in one room. I ate alone tonight. It's ten in the night and he hasn't come home yet. Does he have a dinner appointment?
My heart jumped happily when it heard the subtle roar of its car engine. I rushed to the front door. Shortly thereafter Abdi opened the door and Hendra walked into the house. I immediately welcomed him. He did not look at me but walked straight up the stairs. A change in attitude that I deserve.
My eyes then caught something strange on his body. I looked towards his right hand that was giped. “Hendra? What happened to your hand?” manyworry. He just kept quiet and walked straight towards the room where he was sleeping right now.
He held the doorknob and turned it. I'm still following him. He looked at me with his cold eyes. “He shouldn't touch you with his hands. She knows you're my wife. But she took the chance because your heart is still for her.”
“No, Hen, you're wrong.” My heart is not his, but yours. Why is it so hard for me to say that sentence? Am I afraid that she will reject me outright if I honestly tell her how I feel?
“Please betray me as you like, Zahara. But you will never be able to leave me.” He walked into the room and closed the door right in front of my face. Zahara's. He no longer calls me Za, but Zahara. My chest feels sore because of it.
I can't stand watching my marriage break down because of someone else. Somehow Aldo could know where I was going and always approached me when I was alone, so I went to the supermarket that Thursday.
My plan is very risky but I have no other way but to talk directly to him. I can't just let him spread lies about us. Moreover, he did not only hurt my husband through his actions. He hurt me too. Oh, dearGod. I can't even imagine what would happen if my parents and in-laws knew about this.
“Mistress, why are we coming to this place again? Didn't you already decide to move to another supermarket?” liando asked confusedly.
“I want to solve my problem. Please watch over me from far away. Just save me even if I don't give you any signal.” I got out of the car without waiting for an answer.
Since I didn't come for shopping, I didn't pick up the trolley and just stood waiting until he came. Justright. Not until five minutes of waiting, he walked towards me from the entrance of the supermarket. He did not look for my location at all but came straight to me. Not wrong anymore. He's stalking me or someone's always following me wherever I go.
“Hai, babe.” I immediately retreated as he tried to hug me. He frowned before smiling, then looked into my hands. “You didn't shop?”
“We need to talk.” I didn't see if he was following me. I walked to another part of the building that many people did not walk through. The corridor between a restaurant and the back door seemed suitable to be where we were talking. I turned around, and he stopped too. “You shouldn't tell Hendra,” I said without making small talk.
“I have to do that because you will never dare to do it,” he said in a serious tone. I was confused to hear that word.
“I never said that I wanted to leave Hendra or come back to you,” I said.
“What? We didn't meet, you met me.” I'll be right away. “Stop saying something that isn't true. What's the matter? Are you going to ruin my marriage?”
“Ara ...” He tried to grab my hand. I immediately retreated away. “Are you not happy we were given a second chance to get back together? It is time for us to achieve the happiness that was taken from us.”
“You're late, Aldo. There is no second chance for us. You've lost me since you stopped fighting for our love,” I said firmly.
“Stop struggling? Who finally decided to agree to marry someone else?” aldo protest. I looked at him in disbelief.
“Who ended up giving his first kiss to someone else?” my protest won't lose. He rounded his eyes. He took a step back as if I had just hit him hard through that sentence.
“You, you saw it?” tanyanya.
“Of course I saw it. Did you forget that we had an appointment that day?” my question does not understand. We never talked about why our relationship ended. But, yes, his wife never said that I saw them kissing that day?
“You didn't come. I came to your house and your papa said you were not home,” he said slowly, trying to remember what happened that day.
“I'm not home. I cried all the way through heartbreak,” I said emotionlessly. I've felt nothing now every time I remember the events that broke my heart and my life.
“Ara, I'm sorry,” he said in a clear tone. He stretched out his hand, but I just stared at him emotionlessly.
“It's no use anymore. You have chosen your way of life without me. I have also chosen my way of life without you.” I shook my head.
“Ara, I beg you. Don't do this to me again. Don't leave me.” He was still trying to grab my hand, but I retreated back.
“What we do is a mistake. We cannot have what we have left behind in the past. You are no longer the Vivaldo I know. You are willing to do anything to have what you want. Aldo that I know not so,” I said do not believe.
“OK. I admit I was wrong to meet Hendra and tell him everything about us. But if it wasn't me who said it, he would never know and you would never be mine.” I hate it every time he seeks justification for his evil actions.
“I never said I wanted to be yours,” I said again firmly.
“After we were so intimate, you said you never said you wanted to be mine?”
“That means nothing to me at all. I don't feel anything.”
“Taste nothing? Who are you lying to? You obviously like what we did in that hotel room,” he insisted.
“You've really changed.” I looked at him in disbelief. “Or maybe this is the real you I didn't realize before?”
