Vivaldo frowned seeing four women walking towards him with very serious faces. He looked to the right and left trying to escape, but he acted wisely by standing still in his place. If he runs away, then he himself will be the attention of the many people around us.
“You, do you know what happened because your mouth was full of lies?” qiana said in a annoyed tone. He pointed his index finger at Vivaldo's face. The man took a step back. “My best friend harassed people because they thought his body was a common possession.”
“You are human or not? Is this what you call love? After causing her and her husband to divorce, the legality of her child is in doubt, you still dare to come trouble her life again? He doesn't love you, so open your eyes. Stop all this.”
“You rich people know what about us who have no power over our own lives?” reply Vivaldo. “Ara can not be separated from the man because we have not been able to be together.”
“Do your ears no longer work? Zahara doesn't love you. He's divorced from Hendra, has he ever been looking for you? Did he ever visit you in jail? Listen, yeah. This is the last time I hear you spreading lies about him. If you still dare to do that again, I alone will report all your crimes against my best friend,” threatened Qiana.
“Ara, can't you speak for yourself? You're afraid to speak honestly about how you feel about me because they're going to complain to Mahendra?” askinya.
“Sorry, I don't know you.” I lifted both my shoulders. I looked towards Qiana. “Are you done talking to your acquaintance, Qiana?” He smiled with satisfaction.
“Now it's.” Qiana turned to look at Vivaldo, then turned her body. Suddenly the man ran past my friends towards me. Not me, but the boys near me.
“Hadi, listen. Your father is not Mahendra, but I.” Vivaldo held my son's hand for him to see. “I am your real father.”
“No.” Hadi pulled his hand. “Mahendra Satya Perkasa is my papa. I, Hadiyan Bagas Perkasa is the son of Mahendra Satya Perkasa. You are a stranger.” Liando immediately stood up to protect Hadi seeing Vivaldo still trying to talk to him.
“Saddening. You involve the kids too?” claudia stood in front of Liando. “Hendra that you have insulted is much more honorable than you. At least, he never tried to take what was not his.”
“She's already taken Ara from me.” Vivaldo growled softly.
“Which I heard, you've been with her for a long time but it's not serious to marry her. Hendra just acted faster than you. And what I heard was that Zahara herself wanted to marry him. Absolutely no coercion,” added Claudia.
“Not only Qiana will you face if you try to spread lies again, but me too. You wouldn't like to face me. I always managed to punish the person who was looking for trouble with me with the maximum punishment. Always.” Gone was already the cheerful Claudia when saying that line.
“I also.” Lindsey stood in front of Claudia.
“And I,” said Darla would not lose.
We did not wait for Vivaldo's response and entered our respective cars. Claudia and Mason are in Lindsey's car. We walked out of the airport to his house. I rubbed Hadi's head and felt proud of him. He can say his father's name correctly. I thank Liando for his quick actions. He replied politely.
Hendra and the husbands followed for dinner at Lindsey and Edu's residence as soon as they got home from work. My husband immediately groaned at the pile of presents for our children from Claudia and Mason. I just laughed to see it.
Charlotte is getting more gifts and she has opened them all aided by Hadi and Dira. We smile happily whenever the little girl cheers or jumps hysterically looking at the contents of each box she opens. I give understanding to my daughter whenever she looks sad because those good things she can't have.
“This whole thing has Charlotte, baby. Got that Dira.” I pointed towards the pile of presents that I deliberately let stay in the room so that she would not be jealous of her best friend.
“Mau view, Ma.” He pulled my hand to get closer to the gift.
“Iya. Later at home, yes.” He considered my words for a moment, then nodded.
All the gifts from Claudia were brought to the house by Liando. There is no place in our apartment for all of these items. After all, we only stayed there for a while. Hendra held Dira as we arrived, while Hadi was still awake and able to walk on his own.
That night I had a nightmare. I woke up and found my breath hunting and sweat all over my body. Hendra slept well by my side. I immediately approached her and placed her hand on my body. I tried to sleep in his arms. Go awayl. Go and don't bother me anymore. I cast the spell so I could fall asleep soon.
If at night my sleep is disturbed, then I sleep well during the day. I always take advantage of that opportunity when the kids are also taking naps. I felt much fresher in the afternoon.
One of the rooms in Qiana's house had already been converted into a temporary dressing room. There are five chairs already available to us each complete with a dressing table. We chatted casually as makeup and hair stylists did their chores.
We praised each other when we met again in the front room after putting on our own dresses. Of course Qiana was the prettiest. She was wearing a white dress that was attached to follow the curves of her body. The four of us wore different evening dresses but from the same material was almost white purple, Qiana's favorite color.
The husbands stared at us in disbelief as they looked at our appearance. Hendra approached, then wrapped his hands around my waist and kissed my lips gently. She was careful not to damage the lipstick that adorned my lips.
“If only we were in the room now,” whispered in my ear. I chuckled, trying to ignore the flow of electricity moving from my ears all over my body. “I love you, beautiful.”
“Are you not going to love me if I'm not beautiful anymore?” I pretended to be offended. She laughs. “I love you too, handsome.”
“Ha! Liars. I'm not handsome.” He moved his hand that was holding me to my hand. “And no. No matter how you are, I will always love you.”
“Lofer.” I replied with the same intonation. He came back laughing. “You fell in love with me because of my face.”
“Iya, I admit it. But I still love you after we went through so much together.” Thas right. And that's what made me fall in love with him. Because he didn't give up on me.
“Already, already. Today is my big day but instead you two are drunk dear,” protest Qiana. Hendra and I laughed when they heard it.
We went to the convention center where the Qiana and Helmut wedding anniversary celebrations were held. The parking lot is full of guests. And of course, the main entrance was already filled with reporters.
They immediately took our photo. When it was my turn and my family, we stood up for a moment to let them take a picture of me and Hendra with our two children. Me and my friends went in first on Helmut and Qiana's turn to be the center of attention.
The receptionist immediately greeted us after seeing the invitation we had brought and drove us to the table where our name label was located. My family's at the table with Darla, and Lindsey's with Claudia. Hadi and Dira sat down sweetly and enjoyed their meal.
Qiana and Helmut were in the next room for a press conference, so guests were welcome to enjoy the evening meal first. Every table was tidied up as the host went up to the stage asking us to welcome the happy couple.
Hadi and Dira cheered happily to see om and their aunt enter the hall like newlyweds. The four nephews Qiana and Helmut opened a path in front of them while dancing and spreading red rose petals.
They stood on the stage and a short event of their twenty-fifth birthday celebration began. They share stories of their first experience of meeting, when they expressed love to each other, and finally decided to get married. They then tell me what they experienced while living life together.
A deafening buzzing sound filled the hall. We close both ears with our hands. Helmut who was talking paused for a moment while looking towards the microphone he was holding.
“All the beautiful stories you guys told were just nonsense. Your marriage is not perfect and I will tell you what really happened to everyone.” A woman stands on stage after successfully taking the microphone away from the host. I remember that face. But how could he be in this place?
