Slowly I opened my eyes. The bed beside me was empty. I yawned slowly and sat down. My nightgown was so thin that without the blanket covering my body, my body immediately shivered. I grabbed the remote and raised the room temperature. The silk robe that was on the back of the sofa, I picked it up and put it on. The rope on his waist I tied tightly.
While yawning, I went into the clothes room and turned on the lights. The room was almost as big as a bedroom. My clothes and my husband were neatly placed in the room. After choosing clothes and accessories to wear today, I headed for the bathroom.
An hour later I was tidy, complete with makeup and daily hairdressing. In the dining room, breakfast for me was served on the table. Yuyun, one of our female servants, helped serve me. He filled the plates and cups every time it was empty.
After breakfast, I went to a room specially made for me. There was a sofa surrounding a carved wooden table in the middle of the room. The closet contains a book to the right of the room. What I liked the most, the big window in the room. The morning sun will warm the room. In the afternoon, the room will be cool.
If I were in this room, no one would bother me, including my husband. I use my time here to write. I specifically create a blog that contains fashion trends clothing, culinary, interior, as well as tourist objects that I have visited.
I am currently learning to write fiction and the welcome and support from my blog readers is very positive. There are thousands of loyal readers reading chapter by chapter that I have uploaded. I was almost in the last chapter of the first fiction book I wrote.
At lunch, I stopped the activity. I took one of the bags from the room, put in all the things I would need, then rushed towards the garage. With the key in hand, I opened the door of my Audi car. The garage door opens automatically.
I drove the car out of the garage to the front gate that was immediately open so I didn't have to wait. After looking at the traffic state on the right and left of the car, I entered the highway. An hour later, I arrived in front of a restaurant.
A man opened the door for me with a friendly smile. Another man led me to a table where friends were waiting. My three friends stood up as soon as they saw me coming. After kissing and hugging each other, we sat down and ordered each other's food. Qiana and Lindsey did not eat much because they were on a strict diet, whereas Darla and I ordered whatever we liked without caring about weight.
The three women I first met about five years ago. At that time I paid for the clothes I bought with a credit card at a department store. With the same card, I intend to pay for the shoes and bags I bought at another boutique. But I just realized that I was holding a different card.
I went back to the department store. After searching, my credit card is not in the cashier. I was so panicked. A woman standing in line behind me, helping and accompanying me went to the information section. There are also no people reporting complaints of credit card exchange.
One of them looks panicked. He complained the same to the woman in the information section. I showed the credit card I was holding and smiled happily at the credit card the woman showed me.
It was our first time, four people who did not know each other, getting acquainted. We had lunch together and laughed at what had just happened. Then we exchanged phone numbers and from that day on we became familiar and good friends, not caring about the age difference between us.
The three of them are friends that I currently have. I cut ties with old friends because I was tired of hearing them question my decision to marry Hendra. They also kept trying to persuade me to go back to Aldo and give him one more chance. Doing it is not as easy as saying it.
Not wanting to embarrass my extended family and ruin my own reputation by breaking the marriage vows with my future husband back then, I defied the words of all my old friends. All of my best friends are Aldo's friends as well, so I understand why they do it. And I had to end the relationship with them too.
After our order food was recorded, the waiter left our table. The initial conversation was about each of us. Then it continues on the development of social activities that we support together. When food comes, we eat in silence or talk to a minimum. One upbringing for high-class women that we never violated.
After we finished our meal and empty plates and glasses were cleaned, food and soft drinks were delivered to the table. The conversation about family begins. Qiana reported about her son who managed to get into a favorite college in Yogyakarta. For the third time, he showed off the achievements of his second son who became the class champion.
Her husband tried again to break into the legislature at this year's election. They spent so much money on the election four years ago and lost. But it seems they are not deterred to try again.
Darla tells us about the progress of her daughter's wedding preparations with one of the young conglomerates in our town. She was so proud to name the famous wedding fashion designer who made a special dress for her daughter. She carried a map, we opened it and chuckled in amazement at the example of the designer's design.
The wedding reception will be held in Bali which makes us amazed again. There will be a lot of money for the wedding. But they don't seem to mind either.
Lindsey tells the story of her son who will graduate next month from one of the prestigious campuses in America. She and her husband will be at the event. At the same time want to get acquainted with the future wife of his son who reportedly is a native citizen there. She and her husband had absolutely no objection to having a daughter-in-law of a foreign woman.
We've seen his picture. Beautiful young woman with dark brown hair and gray eyes. She also seems to be a good woman. Their wedding will be held in the middle of next year. They are still discussing whether the wedding will be held in Indonesia or America.
