“Stop yelling at my house! Can't you talk quietly?” my hardik was annoyed at the man who ever since he set foot in my living room did not stop being angry at Adhy.
Finally, the atmosphere of the room calmed down again. Ken or whatever the name of the man my husband called his best friend suddenly came shouting in front of our house. Does he have to be spread out in someone else's yard, on someone else's land? Instead of speaking well, he made all the neighbors hear his scolding.
I am ashamed of the woman of my son's choice. Now added to the secrets of my husband's past. He still avoided that he had a child with the girl. I just saw it in person this time. She was a simple woman, completely unlike Gista. I saw my son's secretary imitate his father's physical features more. But similar is not enough. That can't yet be solid evidence that they are father and son.
“Quiet? I can't be as calm as you after knowing your husband has a daughter with another girl. I don't accept being lied to by my own friends. Friends I trust!” the man was angry. The door opened and Adhy came back in. “When did you start the relationship between you? Huh huh? Since when did you touch my wife?!”
“Pa, you can't accuse Mr. Adhyana like this. Remember our daughter works for them. Gista loved his job. Don't let him get fired because of you, Pa,” said his wife.
“If you're calm, we'll talk. I won't say anything to a person who can't control his emotions,” Adhy said calmly. He left us in this room as I scolded him all out. He always has been. Go when I convey the anger that I have. But he deserved it.
They spoke after a few minutes and the man did not scream again. Adhy and the woman named Hagia took turns to give an explanation. When viewed from the interaction between them, it was impossible for them to have a relationship in the past. Especially when you have children together. The woman looked disinclined to Adhy and my husband did not seem close to her.
But they could pretend. Just like Zahara who seems kind and considerate to me. And then later he hurt my son. Appearances can be deceiving. I don't want to be fooled again. There could be no news of that if they had never had any relationship.
When Hendra and the woman came in, I finally understood what Adhy was doing when he came out. He called our son to come. Why didn't he just come here himself? Why do I have to see that woman's face again?
Hendra showed the results of a DNA test that he had done with his father and Gista, then the problem was resolved. The man was no longer angry and apologized to his wife. I knew that I shouldn't question the authenticity of the test results, but I couldn't help myself. I'm upset. I was angry because I knew I was wrong to accuse my husband.
Adhy escorted them to the terrace when Hendra and his wife came home. I don't know what they're talking about, but he's not back in this room either. Tired of having no activity, I picked up my phone and dialed Nora's number. I was greeted by the operator. He doesn't usually turn off his phone. Is he following an event?
No one wants to be my best friend. Not my husband or my son. Only Nora could be well discussed. He always sided with me. But he couldn't talk to me. I sighed softly. What's wrong with me? Since when have I been spoiled like this? I used to take care of myself and everything. Since when do I depend on others?
I walked out of the room and looked towards the front door. The three of them were still standing there and looked very serious. What are they talking about so I don't want to hear it too? Because of that woman, my husband is now away from me. He even allowed the woman to call him papa again.
The phone in my hand shook, I immediately saw the screen. I think Nora called me, just my best friend. They'll just ask about the issue. And true. After the call from him I didn't answer, he sent a message. She asked me to answer her phone and tell her about the news.
“Why are you just standing there?” asked Adhy who was suddenly standing near me. I looked towards the door. The butler had already closed it, it seemed like Hendra had already left.
“It's okay. I'll rest in room.” I put the phone in my pocket.
“Hendra must be angry with me,” I said slowly.
“I'm angry with you too. Once you accused him of manipulating the test results. Gista and I went with him to the lab to give our blood samples. The test was not cheap because we needed the results quickly out.” He explains. “You are acting like the person who suffered the most from the gossip, you have not seen how Gista.” is
“What's with him?” aska I want to know.
“He became months at work. Though he became the secretary of the main director not because of his status or anything. He became Hendra's secretary when he was my deputy, so naturally he became his secretary when he rose to office,” he replied. “They took advantage of this gossip to knock her mentally.”
“Hendra can hire your secretary to be his secretary,” I said give you another option. Gista has only worked there for a few months, not surprisingly when his ability is doubted by his colleagues who have worked there first.
“You know that he has long wanted to stop working and focus on taking care of his family. I'm holding him. So, I can't possibly force him to keep working for Hendra either. After all he has suffered enough to be my secretary for these twenty years.” Adhy opened the room door. I went in first, and then he followed.
The waiters appeared busy on Sunday afternoon, stuffing the suitcases into the trunk of the car along with a basket filled with food for Adhy and Nora later. They will be in my room with me. Although I was already confident in my decision to perform this operation, I could not shake my nervousness and fear. Their presence will help me overcome it.
Family and friends are still trying to call and I still ignore them. I didn't tell anyone before I got out safely from the operating room. I was afraid that someone would shake the decision I made.
Throwing away a part of my body was a decision that would not be well received by my friends or our relatives. They would have recommended that I just have chemotherapy. I don't want half a cure for this deadly disease. I want to heal. I want to live longer than my grandmother and mother.
“We have to leave now, dear.” Adhy entered the living room and walked up to me who was sitting waiting. I looked at the door, then my phone. He's correct. It's time for us to go to the hospital.
“Nora is not here yet,” I said slowly. Where the hell is he? From yesterday, I couldn't reach him.
“We can't wait for him much longer. Have you contacted him?” tanyanya was impatient. He has no more thoughts with me. Since Nora invited us to join her and Hendra's meeting to take the path of peace, Adhy no longer liked her. Whereas we had previously agreed to prepare the girl to be our son's wife.
“I've sent a message too. Maybe he's on business so don't answer the phone or reply to messages.” I checked my phone back. Niente.
“Hendra's right. He won't come.” Adhy shook his head.
“What do you mean by Hendra right?” many offended.
“He who asked me to come also to the hospital accompanied you because he was sure that Nora would not come. Do you want to know where he is now?”
