The Untouched Heart

The Untouched Heart
Chapter 183 - That's Your Commitment

He kissed my lips which I immediately greeted with pleasure. That brief kiss momentarily turned into an intense kiss. I wanted to wrap my hands around her neck, she held both of my wrists and pressed them against the door so I couldn't touch her. She knew that I hated not being able to touch her while kissing like this. But I let him win.

“This is not the name.” I laughed as he kissed my cheek. He distanced himself for a moment so he could see my face. My heart was pounding faster and faster waiting for what he would do next.

“You think it's funny, yeah. If it wasn't for the commitment of the two of us, you wouldn't have let me get out of bed until tomorrow morning. Eating is not allowed,” grumbled.

“It's not our commitment. That's your commitment. I don't mind making love to you now.” I brought my face closer to kiss her back, she moved away.

“For a long time I could die worrying about you. You go to see Mama without my permission once more, I'll tie your legs and hands to the bed before going to work. And I'll release you after I get home,” he threatened.

“You won't dare.” I smiled against him.

“You are free to try it.” He pulled me away from the door, then opened it. “I still have a job and an important meeting tonight. I'm gonna be home late. Don't wait for me.” He kissed my lips for so long, then let go of his embrace. I'm laughing a little. He just shook his head slowly.

“I love you, baby,” I said as she opened the door.

“And I always love you.” He gave me a long-distance kiss, then closed the door. I caught the kiss with both hands, then brought it closer to my lips. I smiled happily. Waita minute.

Realizing what he had just done, making me want him then leaving me for granted, I growled in annoyance. Why didn't I understand what that meant? And he's going home late? Ukh. How regrettable. Why is this fast still long over?

Since Hendra didn't come home for dinner, then I invited Will and Colin to eat with us. The man always came a few minutes before my husband came home, so it's okay to occasionally eat faster than usual.

“I'm sorry about what happened at the press conference a few years ago, Zahara,” Will said sympathizing. “Dad Hendra looks like a good guy. It was hard to believe that he would be able to do that to his wife. Moreover, seeing Hendra who love dies to you, I am sure that his father is also so.”

“Thank you, Will. You don't believe the fake news is enough.” I smiled at him. “I saw you talking quite familiar with Mason. Are you guys friends?”

“No. I just miss home, so hearing him tell me about life there can be a bit of a treat for my longing,” he replied.

“Why don't you just go back there? Isn't summer vacation soon?” my many. He shook his head slowly.

“Summer is the same as not coming home, Zahara. It feels the same as being here. Maybe we'll go home in the fall and celebrate Thanksgiving with the family there. I haven't decided anything.” He shook his head slowly.

“You have how many brothers?” aska I want to know.

“Only an older sister. Both my parents must have been happy to see Colin growing up. They saw him last time when he was two years old.” He cleaned his mouth with a napkin sign that he had finished eating. “So, Zahara. Do you have a wife for me? Anything you see fits me?”

“I don't have a friend who's still alone, Will. Didn't I ever say that to you?” I thank Yuyun who lifted Dira from her seat to wash her hands and mouth in the sink. He raised both his eyebrows. “What's up?”

“Gista is still alone.” He's clearing slowly. I was stunned for a moment.

“You like that girl?” I just don't believe it.

“Didn't you see how pretty she brought your wedding anniversary? He is friendly and smart. I'm sure she can be a good mother to Colin,” she said confidently. It seems like she fell in love at first sight.

“Wow, Will. Ng, I'm not sure she's ready to get married. He has just started his career, he definitely still wants to focus on his job,” I said slowly. He rolled his eyeballs.

“Hendra not conservative. I still work even at home,” I said defending my husband.

“Ah, yes. I forget. You are a writer.”

“So, what can I help you with?” I asked after we sat on the sofa and the kids played on the carpet with Ara, not far from us.

“How can I meet him again?”

“Will, you chose the wrong interlocutor. You should have discussed this with my husband.”

“You know for yourself how he is. He would just ignore me and tell me to think for myself how to solve my problem. He's a selfish friend.” Will threw his hand in frustration into the air. I'm laughing a little.

“You seriously want this girl?”

“I'm curious, okay? She was the first girl who managed to make me think about getting married again. He also looks good to the kids. So, he's the complete package. I beg you, Zahara. I'll give you anything you want as long as you give me a way to meet and talk to him.” Yes, he is serious about Gista.

“I'm not sure that I can ..”

“Hendra will definitely listen to whatever you say. He will do anything for you too. I beg.”

How do I talk to Hendra without making him suspect that Will and I aren't that close? That guy just asked for my help doesn't mean we're close friends. Hendra is very strict on this one. I can't be friends with men.

Will just got me in trouble. Mama's treatment has not been running, the issue of father and son relationship issues between Gista and Papa is also not finished, now I have a task to fulfill the request of a friend.

“No.” Well, right, ‘kan? Hendra was not at all willing to help so that Will could be close to his secretary. “It's just right this morning you wake up fast and want to jog without coercion.”

“Didn't you like to see Colin finally have a mother? He does not need to feel sad anymore every time he sees my closeness with Hadi or Dira.” I tried to persuade him. “Darling, Will is your friend. He's been helping us with Hadi's education. What's wrong if we also help him find his soul mate?”

“Gista just three months working for me. He went through probation smoothly, I don't want romance to ruin his perfect performance. We don't know if Will is a good man or not in love. What if he breaks my secretary's heart? I lost Sherry on a matter of feeling. I don't want to lose Gista too.”

“Why do I feel those two women are more important to you than me?” I don't know why, but the way she called Sherry and Gista made me feel a little jealous.

“Please, Za, I'm tired of drama.” He let go of his embrace, I held both of his hands. Hadi and Dira are spending Saturday with Zach and his family at the playground. We were alone in the family room. Watching a movie while hugging.

“Good. Good. We won't discuss Will or anyone else again.” I relented.

“We will just watch and relax,” he added. I nodded in agreement. The sound of vibrating objects on the table caught our attention. The phone with the screen on is Hendra's. He took the object and read the name on the screen. Papa's.

“Ya, Pa?” hendra replied casually. He then held up his seat. “Good, I'll be there soon. Papa and Mama are fine, ‘kan? Fine.”

“What's up, baby?” manyworry. He stood up and put the phone in his shirt pocket. He took the car keys that were inside a special box on the sideboard, then stepped quickly, out of the living room.

“Papa Gista comes to run over Papa and asks him to tell her what really happened. Papa had already explained that there was no connection between him and Mama Gista. But the man did not believe. Circumstances out of control because Mama is hysterical.”
