The Untouched Heart

The Untouched Heart
Chapter 112 - Sulking

“Kakak!” Dira wanted to get off the couch, I held him down. Hadi was able to climb the stairs by himself to his room, he could not yet. “Kakak, Ma. Brother!”

“Iya, we follow Brother, yes. But mama put a tablet down for a while mama.” I took a deep breath before pointing the tablet screen at me. “I turn it off, yes. I need to talk to them.”

“Good. Thank you, Za. Forgive the trouble I caused.”

“Not only is it your fault. It's my fault too. We should wait until the kids wake up, and then you go home. It wouldn't be like this if I remembered doing it.” I sighed softly. “See later.”

I don't want to see or talk to you. Dira also imitated his brother's attitude. They lay together in my son's bed. Sometimes I hear the young man. I could only take a deep breath to calm myself down.

After they slept well, I carried Dira and laid her on her own bed. For the first time, they sleep without cleaning themselves first. I can't do anything about it. They won't listen to me.

My phone on the nightstand shook, I approached it and read the name on the screen. I took a deep breath before answering. “Yes, Hendra.”

“Are the kids asleep?” tanyanya's worried.

“Iya.” I sat on the edge of the bed.

“This is what I was afraid of by coming to see them now.” he said slowly.

“The situation would have been easier had you come when they were little. They will get used to this rhythm for many years before, so there will be no drama like this.” Regrets always come too late.

“Ara also acted the same. He howled while clawing at the door wanting to return home. She just slept after exhaustion by herself.” Hendra sighed softly. “Hopefully their circumstances will be better tomorrow.”

“Hopefully. It's the first time they won't listen to me at all.” I looked towards the digital clock on the nightstand. “I have to sleep now. I need a lot of manpower to face them tomorrow.”

“Good. Good night.” After returning her greeting, I cleaned myself in the bathroom, then took a break. It took me a long time to fall asleep. My head did not stop thinking about what I should do to persuade them tomorrow.

My morning habit is still repeating. I woke up earlier than the kids. The atmosphere of the morning was very quiet, so I rushed to perform the morning ritual and headed for their room. Dira was not in his room, I headed to Hadi's room. They were lying together in bed.

“Good morning, Hadi, Dira!” sweep me with joy. They just shut up. I sat on the bed, they simultaneously looked the other way. Okay. I had a lot of patience this morning.

“Come, get ready for school, Nak.” I touched Hadi's back. He still gave me his silence. “Your friends must have been looking for you to play together. Your teacher must also miss seeing his smart student who is always the first to answer his question.” He's still quiet.

“Honey, if you sleep continuously, you can be late to school.” I stood up and moved to sit on the edge of the bed they were facing. They turned their bodies around avoiding me. I took a deep breath. “If you keep acting like this, mom will tell Papa so we don't vacation together next month.” He's still quiet. Is my threat not working?

“Mama don't mess around, lo. Mama will call Papa and cancel the vacation plan with us next month,”. He's still quiet. “Ya, already. Just call Grandma. Let Grandma bathe you and drive you to school.” He's staying quiet.

I held myself back with all my might as I carried Hadi from the bed to his bathroom. My body was soaked after I finished bathing it. She rebelled and refused to put on her clothes, I called Yuyun to help me.

Despite successfully putting on her school uniform, I couldn't force Hadi to eat. On an empty stomach, I couldn't bear to force her to be escorted to school. Finally, I could only sit quietly on the floor with Hadi crying out to his papa.

“What's up, Ara?” ask Mama who just arrived. I was still sitting on the floor with my son lying as he pleased on the floor, not far from me.

“Hadi, why are you even sleeping here?” Papa approached his stubborn grandson.

“Grandpa!” Wake up and hug Papa. “I want to see Papa. I want to stay with Papa. Take me to Papa.” Both my parents looked at me confused.

“Sunday ago Hendra came and took the kids on vacation. I came because Dira was a kid. We just got back from the top yesterday. Hendra back to his apartment and the kids want their dad to stay here with us.” I sighed softly.

“Have you guys told that to the kids before vacationing?” ask Mama slowly. I looked at him confused. “Did you say from the beginning that you only vacation together for one week and not stay together to the children?” I'm silent.

Mama sighed softly. “It's that simple you forgot to say? Did Hadi never mention that during the week you were together? Did you answer the question correctly?” I bow my head.

“Ara, this is nothing new to you. Why don't you say something as important as that to Hadi and Dira?” ask Mama not to believe. “What keeps you from concentrating so? Usually you can communicate well with your children.”

“You still ask, Ma? She hasn't seen the man she loves for five years. Naturally, he could not think clearly. Two years not to meet only they managed to add children. Especially three years. Don't have your fourth grandson in his stomach.” Papa looked at Mama meaningfully. I saw Papa not believing.

“Papa!” I looked at him while glancing towards Hadi. Is Papa not aware that there is a child among us? “There will be no fourth grandson.”

“Ya, already. Contact Hendra.” immediately Grandma looked around us. “Where is Dira?”

“Having slept in his room after being tired of crying,” I replied slowly. Mama this time glared.

“How long have you been letting kids behave like this? Ara?” Mama looked at me in disbelief. I immediately stood up and took my phone on the table.

“I'll contact Hendra.” I searched the man's number for the source of the problem, then waited until he answered my call.

“Halo,” said with his cold voice. Gee. The tone of voice irritated him it was back. Is she no longer worried about her children?

“Drawers.” Mom extended her hand. I gulped at the look on Mama's face. He immediately placed the phone near his ear. “Hendra, come here soon or I'll drag you out of your workspace.” Mama stopped for a moment. Looks like Hendra is talking.

“No buts. Your kids are more important than any meeting. If within an hour you don't arrive as well, I will send Liando and Sakti to drag you here!”
