Chapter 38 - Always Together

My friends haven't stopped talking since they came to see Mama. We don't have any problem with that commotion. Moreover, Mama was very happy to talk to them. But the nurse had already gone in three times to ask us to lower the volume of the sound.

Mama's going home. We wait for Papa and Hendra to take care of the administration while accompanying Mama so as not to get bored. A bag of clothes and a basket of personal equipment I had placed near the door. We're ready to get out of this room.

“Why don't you guys do anything else more useful?” I shook my head slowly.

“Ah, yes. Before I forget.” Qiana pulled out an envelope. Darla and I looked at each other. “This is a list of items I want. Calm. I'm not asking Brad Pitt or Richard Gere.” Darla and I laughed.

“Quiet, dear.” Lindsey hit her husband's pale-faced arm. “We will not buy all Qiana ordered goods with our own money.” The man breathed a sigh of relief. We laughed a little at him.

“I'll transfer money before Lindsey shop. Don't worry, Edu,” said Qiana.

Hendra came with a tray. He put a plate of rice with butter fried chicken and capcay, then a plate of fruit salad, a glass of avocado juice, and a bottle of mineral water in front of me. Then a waiter brought a tray containing a plate of rice with the same menu as me, a bottle of mineral water, and a cup of coffee placed in front of my husband.

“How can you eat that much and stay lean, Zahara?” Lindsey shook her head. I just laughed a little. I was grateful that all this time my portion of food was not small, so they did not suspect to see the amount of food that Hendra bought.

After lunch together, we drove Lindsey and her husband to the entrance of the departure terminal. We hugged her in turn and hugged her and kissed her son. Lindsey and Eduardo looked so proud when we mentioned their son.
