The atmosphere of Hadi's school was different than usual. The parking lot is full of vehicles and children are wandering the school grounds. It seems like the parents or guardians chose to come in the morning to take the children's academic reports. That way, they can still work after this place.
Hadi pulled my hand towards his class. His teacher named Jane was talking to the parents of the student who had come first. We waited at the place provided. When the man and the woman came out with their child, Jane invited us in.
I was very proud to hear the report given by her class teacher. He was a good and helpful boy. He is also friendly with everyone. I don't really care about his academic reports. He was too small to be burdened with numbers or achievements.
“When do we go on vacation, Pa? Colin and his papa are leaving next week,” Hadi said as we were already in the car.
“Late this month. Papa can't leave the job now. After all, our tickets, lodging, and VISA are in order. You take it easy.” Hendra stroked Hadi's head.
“What is VISA, Pa?” ask Hadi. Hendra explained it as simply as possible. I smiled at the conversation between father and son.
Kafin drove Hendra to his office first, then drove the car home. I invite the kids to play in my special room. I have taken a long break from writing. I decided to start working on my book.
I'm not surprised to find so many new messages in the inbox on my blog. I haven't written a new article in a long time. So, that blog I now use to promote my new book. I'm waiting for the fourth book launch.
Unlike my husband who mocked my third book was not good, the readers gave positive appreciation. Of course there are critics, and I accept it as an encouragement to make a better work.
“Ma, will Colin not come here to play with me?” ask Hadi while we are having lunch.
“No, dear. Her father no longer works, so she's not alone. You can call and invite him to play here if you want,” I said give a suggestion. He cheered happily. I can't imagine how he would be when his friend was in America for three months.
I had Yuyun supervise the children playing in the living room, while I continued writing the concept for my next book. While the idea was flowing smoothly, I typed everything in my head into the laptop.
Hendra was always on my mind when writing the concept. I try not to give the same character traits to my new book. A very challenging request, but I'm willing to do it. Because my fourth book got a very positive response from the editor.
At night, my husband was home longer than usual. I was already sleepy in the room after putting the kids to bed. After cleansing himself, he laid his body by my side. I smiled feeling his embrace.
“How are you doing today?” I was half sleepy.
“Everything is smooth.” I felt his kiss on my forehead. “I had lunch with my friends and Keva also joined us.” My sleepiness suddenly disappeared hearing that name.
“How can? You must have invited him on purpose?” I was full of protest.
“I told you honestly, you're angry. I told you too late, you're angry too. Then I should how?” ask her with a sad tone. I sighed softly hearing him chatter.
“Good. I'm sorry.” I relented. “So, what happened? Why did he suddenly join you?”
“I don't know what he said to my friends. By the time Gista and I arrived, the three of them were already in the dining room,” he replied.
“Did that woman make you hard? Did he tease you?” aska I want to know.
Why would he do that to us? What exactly was inside Keva's head that he wanted to ruin our household? There are a lot of rich men out there who I believe are still alone and looking for an equal wife. Why should he approach Hendra?
“I told you, no need for you to think.” Hendra hugged me tightly. I don't want to think about it. But his attitude is suspicious. People who are being caught are very dangerous.
“I don't know what will happen to me if something bad happens to you. Promise me you'll always be careful, baby,” I said a little worried.
“You should also promise the same,” he said demandingly. I'm making my promise. I'm not going anywhere without Liando's escort.
I tried to help Rasmi to serve the guests, but Hendra always managed to hold me back and take me back to sit by her side. Rasmi and Zach invited so many people to attend the seven-monthly event.
My parents and friends laughed at my husband's behavior. Are you tired of helping them by filling up a serving plate that is almost empty or refilling a container of fruit ice? I am ashamed to be the only woman among my friends who sits back.
Our house was much larger than my sister's and his wife's, so all the rooms were filled with guests. They had no yard, so the children were gathered in one room to watch children's movies or play together. But they gather more by the pool, where ice cream and gulali are served.
Official Parents are very serious people so it is difficult to get along with new people. They can sit with me, my parents, and Hendra's parents are rare. At first, we couldn't chat this familiar with them.
I remember they didn't approve of their daughter's decision to marry Zach. My dear husband helped mediate them. Come to think of it, I'm very lucky. I was able to marry Hendra without hindrance from both of her parents.
“How are you doing now, Naava? Are you feeling better?” ask Mama.
“Already. I am still recovering, but it feels even more relieved after telling everyone what happened to me,” replied my mother-in-law. They continued the conversation about your fight against cancer. I'm glad to see they've spoken again.
Slowly things have improved. Even though my mother-in-law has not forgiven me, there is always hope. Somehow our relationship will recover later, I can only hope. For a while, I'll obey Hendra's request not to get too familiar with Mama.
Hm. There's one thing I've been waiting for. We can make love again.
Welcoming that special day, I used that whole week to prepare myself. I went to the salon to take care of my hair, to the day spa to take care of my body, even to a dermatologist to check my skin condition.
Of course, my friends don't want to miss. They also took part in every appointment I made with salons, spas, even dermatologists. I really can't hide any plans from them.
“So, listen to me carefully,” said Darla. I immediately closed my ears with both hands. “Stop behaving like a teenager, Zahara. You need to know this.”
“I don't need any advice from you on how I should fuck my husband. Don't want!” I said insist. Qiana and Lindsey laughed.
“I guessed it. As long as you're married, Hendra must be taking the initiative.” Darla shook her head. “I tell you, yes. Your husband will love you even more if occasionally the initiative comes from you.” I pouted hearing it.
“Zahara, believe. You try what we suggest you, choose which one is convenient for you to do, I guarantee, you two will be addicted to each other.” Qiana blinked one eye.
“Especially you have a good body and your stamina is very good. Hendra has prepared you well to welcome the day.” Lindsey laughed. I don't understand what that means. “You don't know the reason behind the compulsion to jog from him every morning?” Oh. They laugh amusedly. My face must be red now.
