The Untouched Heart

The Untouched Heart
Chapter 235 - Greeting at Home

“Welcome back!!” greet our family and friends in the room associated with the swimming pool. Hendra laughed recognizing every face present in the place. Ara barked and stood in front of him.

“Papa!!” cheers Hadi and Dira who immediately ran to his feet. I helped raise Dira to her lap, while Zach helped lift Hadi.

“Be careful not to touch the bandage on Papa's head, son,” I said while lowering Hadi's hand from his papa head.

“It's okay. I'm fine,” said Hendra in a moved voice. “I have a child. They are handsome and beautiful, dear.” She was even more moved when Dira kissed her cheek. Hadi did the same.

“Eats quickly healed, Brother. Childhood alone Brother forget,” Goda Zach. We laughed together. “Come, we start eating. I'm hungry.” We cheered at his favorite words.

After Papa led the meal prayer, they began to approach each serving table in search of the food they wanted. Hendra sat on one of the couches with us, then Fahri gave a special menu for him. His eyes sparkled happy to see the food on the plate.

Hendra mentioned the names one by one of the people who greeted him. Officially, Zeph and Charlotte need to introduce themselves because she doesn't remember who they are. I deliberately didn't invite our neighbor so he wouldn't get even more confused seeing so many faces that he needed to remember.

When a male trainer came to accompany Hendra to therapy, our guests told him. The children and Ara followed their Papa into the gym, while I drove our family and friends home.

“I can't believe this.” Qiana laughed amusedly. I looked at him suspiciously because it was kind of a mocking laugh. “You just broke your fast and you have to fast again?”

“Stop, Qiana!” my scolding with a red face. “I don't know how long to wait until he's ready again. But I can't accept you even mocking me like this.”

“Zahara.” Qiana laughing. “You don't know how happy I am every time you see you have to be forced in this way to keep your distance for a moment.” I'm pouting.

“Don't worry so. What matters is that he remembers you. And you will not fast for three months like before. I'm sure after one week, Hendra will take the initiative to do it.” Lindsey put her hand on my shoulder.

“Already, stop bothering Zahara. Come on, let's go home. Hendra needs a break after his therapy is over. You also rest, it has been a few days you are busy going back and forth from home to the hospital,” Lerai Darla, my best friend.

After hugging them, also with my family, me and the children waved their way. Security officers were forced to tell the journalist to back off giving each car room to pass.

I sighed softly. The crowd will last for how long? When it comes to Nora, Dicky, and Vivaldo, they can be there for weeks without success. Should I take my family to stay in the apartment for a while?

Ah, naw. We don't have enough room for the workers. Hendra needs a special diet and I can't give a menu carelessly. Fahri already knew what menu fit every time we got sick. After all Hadi is still on school holidays, we do not need to go out often. Let them gather in front of the gate. They will also be bored.

The next challenge we faced was taking Hendra to our room upstairs. He tried to do it himself by holding on to the stairs. I smiled seeing that his legs were strong enough to climb the stairs.

“Relard to me, baby,” I said as I walked by his side. He looked at me for a moment.

“You're short, baby. How can I lean on your little body?” taunted. I immediately moved away, she placed her hand on my shoulder. “You're grumpy once.”

“You said I was short and small, then let Sakti or Liando alone memapahmu,” my protest. He just laughed and continued his steps up the stairs.

Hendra stretched out his hands to me after he stopped his wheelchair on the edge of the bed. “Please me, baby,” the door.

“You can climb stairs, why move from chair to bed can not?” manya suspect. Hadi immediately stood in front of him.

“Sini, Pa. I helped,” said Hadi enthusiastically. Hendra laughed a little. He complied with our son's request. Of course Hadi couldn't lift it. “Papa should diet. Papa's body weighs once.” We laughed at his complaints.

I relented by standing in front of my husband and letting him put his hands around my neck. It was easy for us to stand together, and then sit on the edge of the bed. “Pampered base,” teaseku. She laughs. “Hadi, take Brother down, yes. Mama had to change Papa's clothes and help him take a quick shower. Mama later followed.”

“OK, Mom. Come, Dira.” Hadi took his sister by the hand, then came out of the room. I turned towards Ara who was still standing near my feet.

“You are also out, young girl,” I told him. He protested by barking but did not want to move at all. “If you are being nice, I will allow you to sleep here for the afternoon with your master. Give me a few minutes to help him clean up.”

I didn't know how he could understand my sentence, but I managed to make him move towards the room door. I closed the door, then helped take off my husband's clothes. The broken glass incision scar on his face began to heal, on his neck and hands as well. The rest of his body was fine, except for his right shoulder and hip being bruised due to a hard blow.

“You can shower yourself or need me to help?” ask me after sitting it in the bathtub.

“I can shower myself, baby,” he said. I gave him a shower head so he could point it to a safe part to wet it. Then I put all the toiletries on the edge of the tub. I kissed her lips before coming out.

“Don't wet your bandage,” I said reminding him.

“Good, Sister,” Candanya. I laugh. I left the door open so I could hear if he needed my help.

The sound of water rang out as I chose a change of clothes for her. I put everything on the bed. Just sitting on the sofa, my phone in my pocket vibrated. I took it out and read Irwan's name on the screen. I greeted him.

“Mrs Mahendra, I have good news and bad news for Hendra. Can I talk to him?” ask with an urgent tone.

“Ng, I'm not sure I can do that. Sorry, I didn't tell you this before. Hendra lost his memory. He has Dissociative Amnesia. He just remembered until our lives before parting ways. So ...,” I said trying to explain.

“I did not expect that the consequences of this accident would be that severe. But he's home is that okay?” tanyanya's worried.

“No. Going home will help him remember everything faster.” I repeated what the doctor said. “So, what's the good and bad news?”

“Good news, we've got who planned the accident. They intend to end Hendra's life, but fail. The bad news, we will be difficult to sue this person into the path of law,” replied Irwan who actually made me more unsettled.

They didn't manage to kill my husband, does that mean they'll come back to try something else? A person who is difficult to bring to the legal path means that my husband is dealing with an important person. Why is he always looking for trouble with people untouched by the law?
