The Untouched Heart

The Untouched Heart
Chapter 78 - This is My Husband's Son

“What are you waiting for, Abdi? Get rid of the man.” I said to our butler.

“Good, Mistress.” Abdi looked behind him. Liando immediately came closer and they each held Aldo's arm and dragged him out of my house.

“Let me go! Ara, what are you doing? Why do you prefer to suffer in this house? Ara!” I just kept watching Abdi and Liando drag him out.

“Is he crazy? Why did he come again after what he did last night?” claudia did not understand.

“Which man would be willing to let go of a woman as beautiful as Zahara, Claudia? Especially after he managed to taste it.” Qiana looked at me. “Do not misunderstand. I commend you.”

“That's the kind of compliment I don't want to hear, Qiana,” I said pretending to protest. Friends just laugh. They walked back to the sitting room.

I looked towards the door. What am I supposed to do? How do you make him understand? I don't want to go back to him. I want to live with Hendra, not another man. If he keeps coming like this, my marriage will be completely ruined.

After lunch together, my friends decided to continue their other activities. I thank them for coming. We hugged each other and kissed each other on the cheek before parting ways. I stood on the terrace to take them away.

“Have you told the security guard to never allow the man to enter the grounds of this house again?” ask me to Abdi.

“Already, Mistress,” he replied politely.

“Please, have Liando prepare to take me to the hospital this afternoon. I'll rest for a while.” I climbed the stairs after hearing her response.

The drastic change in emotions since last night made me very tired. Even though I slept soundly, my body felt like it had just done some heavy physical work. Without changing clothes, I laid my body on the bed and immediately fell asleep.

The pain that was so right in the upper middle part of my stomach woke me up. I rubbed my big belly trying to find where the little guy was. Why couldn't she just let her mother calm down for a moment? I glanced towards the digital clock that was above the nightstand. It's four in the afternoon. I pushed my body to be in a sitting position. Time to get ready for the hospital.

Bad traffic got me to arrive at six in the afternoon in the parking lot. Liando came with me to the room where Mama was taken care of. He helped me bring me a basket full of food. My husband is already in the room, and so is the official.

“Hai, babe.” Hendra immediately stood up to me. He hugged me while kissing my hair. “Everything is okay?” I nodded slowly. I looked towards Mama.

“Hai, Ma,” my greeting to the woman who looked at me with her sad look.

“We will wait outside. You guys talk.” Hendra let go of his embrace. Papa and Rasmi stood up, then walked past me towards the door.

“Come.” Mama patted the edge of her bed. I comply. “Are you okay?” I nodded, then hugged her.

“I'm sorry, Ma. Please, forgive me. I've been so disappointing Mama.” I don't hold back my tears anymore.

“No. Mama don't say it.” I loosened my arms and looked at her face. “I married Hendra on my own consciousness. I also slept with Aldo was my own choice. Mama has absolutely nothing to do with this.”

“Jawab this question.” Mama looked at me seriously. I gulped heavily, waiting for his question. “What is your husband's son?”

“Iya, Mother. This kid is Hendra's son,” I said firmly. Mama sighed softly.

“Sgratitude.” Mom looked towards the door. “I'm hungry. Call them so we can eat together.” I followed him immediately.

We ate together and talked about light things. She would not touch the food provided by the hospital. Fortunately, I brought food that was safe for her to consume. Seeing him eat voraciously, I felt calmer.

Zach then came and the atmosphere of the room soon became crowded. He bullies me but Rasmi and Hendra simultaneously defend me. I laughed at the broken face of her heart because her boyfriend preferred to side with me rather than her.

After promising to come back to see Mama, we decided to go home. Papa kept Mama company in the room until Mama slept. Zach couldn't drive Rasmi home because he came by driving his own car. We split up at the main hospital door.

“Aldo came again,” I said as we were already lying in bed.

“Abdi told me.”

“Why do security officers still let him in after last night's incident?” my question does not understand.

“I instructed so. Only you can say that to them. I wasn't. I told you, you are free to meet him whenever you want.” I round my eyes at that sentence. Did I not hear wrong?

“What do you mean? I think we're okay. Why did you say that?” my protest.

“We don't fight anymore, yes.” He caressed my face. I had to be quiet to hear it. “I'm tired of everything we have to deal with because of last night. So, please don't talk about him anymore. Please tell me about anything, except him. This is the last time I hear his name you call that semesra with your lips.”

“I don't ..” I tried to explain it, but she silenced me with her kiss. I'm so stupid. Our situation turned out to be not okay. He still thinks that Aldo and I have a special relationship. Why would he think so?

Fulfilling my promise to Papa, I came to the hospital carrying our snacks and lunch. I invited Liando to eat with us, but he refused. Papa cut an apple for me and Mama as we chatted casually. I'm glad to see that Mama's face isn't pale anymore. He looks a lot fresher than last night.

“Isn't that Vivaldo?” ask Papa while looking at the television screen. I'm turning.

Television was broadcasting a news broadcast in which a head of the agency and his assistant were netted a hand-catching operation while receiving bribes of hundreds of millions. Not only Aldo, I also know the man who walked with him. A number of police officers and free-clothed men walked with them out of a hotel.

Judging from the time of the arrest, it looks like he went to the hotel after work. As I recall, he wasn't wearing that shirt when he came to my house while my friends were visiting. What the hell is he doing? Does he not think about the fate of his children when he goes to prison? Was he so in need of money that he took a bribe barely touching a billion?
