The Untouched Heart

The Untouched Heart
Chapter 256 - My Happiness

~Za~

He said he would always support me, make me happy, love me unconditionally. In fact today he could not keep his own promise just because of sulking. It is old, not a child anymore, but still scrabbling for the sake of a trivial matter of birthday wishes.

Today I was very happy and enjoyed every moment I spent with my fans, but my husband did not smile in the slightest throughout the event. I should have just told him that I actually remember his special day and had prepared a surprise event for him. Let her ugly face turn cheerful.

But I managed to survive. The event, which lasted almost five hours, ended well and we all headed for the next event. My husband thought that it was just a regular dinner as a celebration of a month of the publication of my sold-out book.

I smiled satisfied to see the surprise event went well, he was surprised to find that the next event was his birthday celebration. Only then did his pouting face go away changing into a happy face that was very handsome.

Already accustomed to the attitude as I pleased, I did not resist as she kissed me in front of many people. Not only him, I also wanted to show everyone that he was my husband. So, please think twice if you want to take him away from me.

“You must have thought that Zahara forgot your birthday. Yes, ‘kan?” goda Qiana as we sat together enjoying our meal.

“She is weak to the date and is very happy with today's event. It's only natural that I think so.” Hendra put his hand on my shoulder.

“Darling, did you forget that there is now a reminder alarm on your phone? Times have changed, so I'm not weak anymore in terms of dates.” I stick my tongue out at him.

“I will reply to this childish attitude later,” he said meaningfully. I laughed, not afraid of the threat.

Friends told me how we prepared this surprise event in collaboration with Rasmi and his team. My sister-in-law that is the only reason we can use this hall for personal matters. Having a brother who sits in the chair of vice director does have its own advantages.

I smiled at Darla who was busy with the presence of her first grandchild. She was so happy to be a grandmother. Qiana is preoccupied with her role as the wife of a councilor and takes care of her two adult children.

Lindsey is no longer raising her grandchildren. Claudia was able to let go of her daughter and granddaughter, and was not sad anymore when she saw Charlotte. They often discuss the best things they will do for their grandchildren's education later.

“You are done eating, you should go home first, son,” whispered my mother-in-law to Hendra. “Za has been outside all day, he must be exhausted.” Yes, Mama was right.

“Good, Ma,” said my husband according to. He's looking at me. “There's something I need to get before we go home?” I shook my head slowly.

I thank my friends for their help preparing my husband's birthday surprise. Also to Gista and Rasmi who have prepared the event well. I had just let go of my embrace from my sister-in-law when she was complaining of pain.

“Zach!” I called my sister when I saw that there was liquid between her legs. “Your wife will be in labor soon. Take her to the hospital immediately.”

“Kak, no need to come. There are my parents and in-laws who will definitely accompany us. Brother at home only. Today has been very tiring and I do not want to lose my nephew again,”, said the official as Zach tidied up his wife's luggage and carried the bag on his shoulder.

“Good. Let me know as soon as my niece is born.” I kissed her cheek. He's nodding. Zach picked him up immediately. I saw my parents following behind him with Zeph. Hendra put his hand on my shoulder.

“We go home now?” tanyakanya. I'm nodding.

Our journey home was quiet, no one spoke. The kids fell asleep while we were in the car. Since Dira's special seat was between me and Hendra, I couldn't lean on her. But Hendra stretched out his hand and touched my shoulder. I smiled and could feel his touch.

I let Hendra and Yuyun take care of the children, while I went to the room to clean up first. Hendra entered the room along with me out of the bathroom. She smiled as she walked towards the bathroom and took the time to kiss my lips. I nodded slowly to see her behavior.

It felt like I had just laid down, but sleep soon took over my consciousness. When I opened my eyes, I was already in my husband's arms. I smiled seeing her face so close to me.

After taking as little as possible out of his embrace, I headed for the bathroom. When I got out, Hendra was still fast asleep. I glanced at the digital clock above the nightstand. At five in the morning. He's gonna wake up for a workout, so I let him sleep a little longer.

I headed to Hadi's room and smiled seeing that he was still sleeping. I approached to fix the blanket. He's a good boy, hopefully he won't imitate his possessive papa and can love his lover without much restraint.

Dira also still sleeps in her room. This little girl of mine will grow up much prettier than her mother. Maybe she won't find much drama in her life going forward because she already has a potential husband. He won't experience what I've experienced in my sweet life.

Life is unexpected. I prepared and planned for Hadi to marry Clarissa, and they separated so soon. Dira who I set free to choose close to whom later, was actually proposed by her brother's best friend.

Colin is still a child, but I don't want to laugh at or underestimate his good intentions. If he sincerely wants to marry my daughter, why not. He's a handsome, intelligent, polite, and kind-hearted kid. I'm sure Will and Gista will raise him to be a real man. She's a good candidate for my daughter.

If Hendra disagrees and complicates the poor boy's efforts, I'll handle it. He can't stop our daughter from finding her happiness. Because I'm sure Colin's intentions aren't to clap one hand. Dira liked it too.

My baby-to-be was buried in the yard of our house, right under the balcony of my room. The gardener plants a rose plant on it. Hendra asked for it. I don't care where our little baby is placed because he will always have a place in my heart.

Even though we never met, never touched each other, I will always remember him. Because his presence is a symbol of my return with his father. He was present when we managed to tear down the separation wall and become one again. Not only physically, but also our souls, hearts, and minds become one. A beautiful thing we never experienced at the beginning of our marriage.

You will always be on my mind, son. You I will never forget.

“Hei, babe.” Two big hands wrapped around my body, then a kiss landed on my temple. “What are you doing so early here? I was worried looking for you.” I smiled feeling the warmth of his body, as well as his attention. I just left for a while, he's worried like this.

“I just want to see the little guy. And told him that soon he would be a big brother,” I said slowly. “Hendra ..”

“Ya, babe?” He kissed my temple.

I will not stop thanking him for being patient with me. There is no man before him who persists sincerely in loving me. He managed to touch my cold heart for no longer believing in love. I'll keep him as strong as I can.

“I love you.”

“I love you more.” He kissed my hair for so long. I laughed amusedly.

“Come, I'll accompany you to sports,” take me. He let go of her embrace, then took my hand. For a while, he was only allowed to walk casually. His coach has not allowed him to jog. I prefer this, so I also have a workout buddy.

I hear the dog salakan. We exchanged looks, then looked back. The barking was heard getting closer followed by the voices of the children. They emerged from behind the wall, and ran towards us.

“Papa! Mama! Follow!” exclaims Hadi and Dira who approached us with Ara. Hendra and I laughed when they came closer. My husband knelt down, then grabbed his daughter's body. Dira laughed amusedly as her papa showered her with kisses.

Hendra and I held Hadi's hand, while Dira was in his papa sling. Ara walked leisurely by my side with her tail swaying happily. Once again, I turned to the rose, and smiled happily.

Meanwhile, in a special delivery room.

“I can't take it anymore, Zach! Do something!” official chuckle with a raucous voice after hours of enduring pain.

“Iya, darling. Hold, yes. I'm right here. I'm here,” Zach said as he rubbed his wife's forehead soaked in sweat. “Inhale, release slowly.”

“Good, Official Mother. My son is ready to be born. I'll give you a cue, I push as hard, yes,” said the doctor gave instructions. “OK. Push, Bu.”

Officially put all his remaining energy into helping his second child be born. He was so relieved when the doctor didn't ask him to do that again. They were busy taking a baby to a table, doing an examination, and then clapping him for tears.

And a loud cry filled the room. Official sighs in relief. He lay limp after a night of struggling to wait for the birth. Zach who was never far from his side showered her with kisses.

The official did not feel anything as the sister was busy cleaning herself up. He could only lie helpless. They wait until the pediatrician finishes checking on their child. Zach occasionally sees their son's condition, then returns to his wife's side.

“Congratulations, Sir, Ma, your son is a boy and he is in good health.” A nurse placed the little baby on the official chest, preparing for the initiation of early breastfeeding.

Official looked sadly at her husband. She hopes that her second child will be a girl. She wants to have a cute daughter like Dira.

“Boy or girl are the same, baby,” entertain Zach. “We will love them. Anyway we can still try again. Brother alone will have third child.”

“You're pregnant, I don't want any more,”. Some sisters laughed a little at it.

“You said no now. When we make it later, you yourself are expecting us to have another child,” seductive Zach. The sisters laughed again.
