No one can explain what kind of pain he is feeling right now. It wasn't a moment that he used while waiting for Sasa. Extensive patience in his waiting, apparently did not give a sweet result, as he had hoped so far.
Pain, pain, despair, all mixed into one. The feeling of tightness also plays a role in worsening his feelings. For a moment it came to his mind, what if he just ended his poor life. The purpose of his life so far was to be with Sasa in the future, and that goal was lost along with the invitation he held tightly.
slow footsteps with a raging mind.
"ARGHHHHHHHHH..." Shouted Faiq venting out all the tightness he felt. Some of the other street dwellers spontaneously turned towards Faiq who started crying indistinctly in the middle of the road.
"What's wrong? What was wrong with me until my life was like this? What have I sinned in my previous life until I get punished like this?" a row of questions without answers continued to come out of his lips. "Am I wrong for being too loving?" His voice started to hoarse, even the cravings started to feel dry now.
Faiq continued to walk down the road with slow steps. No matter where he went, he just walked along the sidewalk. The invitation he was in hand was now a formless crumble.
After 30 minutes Faiq walked aimlessly, until his footsteps stopped in front of a bar. For a very long time he had not set his feet in a place full of colorful lights and loud music. For a long time, alcohol-containing drinks did not pass through his throat. His intention stopped that time for the sake of the woman he loved, apparently producing nothing at the moment.
Faiq stepped in, flickering flickering lights, as well as music greeted him. Although it felt a little strange considering that for almost ten years he did not set foot in the bar, but Faiq stepped steadily to spend his night there.
The tears that previously flooded on the face, now it is dry not scorched. Although the result of the cry still left a trace by showing his reddened eyes.
Faiq asked for a glass of alcohol on the bartender who was working that night. One glass prepared for him was steamed one-time without the rest. His facial expression instantly turned sour as the alcoholic drink passed through his throat. Now, not only did his eyes turn red, his cheeks began to change color. He put his glass on the table, and asked the bartender to fill it up again.
"You?"
Faiq who was slowly losing his balance turned his head and almost fell down when the greeting with a familiar voice touched his sense of hearing.
His forehead is wrinkled, trying to recognize a face that is slightly difficult to detect due to the occasional flickering of the blinding lights.
"Karin?"
Karin simply smiled knots while taking a seat beside Faiq.
"I don't think you'll ever come to a bar again. Didn't think it turned out that you were here tonight" Karin said as she asked for a glass of soft drinks.
"I was more likely to meet people like you in a place like this. You're not a suitable person to come to a place like this"
"Keep what kind of place suits me?"
Faiq did not reply, he simply fell silent and gulped back his drink.
"When have you been in a place like this?" Faiq asked without answering Karin's previous question.
"Not long.." Karin said to gulp down her drink
"Why?"
Karin looked at Faiq who looked messy, although it was still clearly visible that Faiq was still conscious and not drunk even though three glasses of alcohol had run out in his sips.
"Maybe like you now"
Faiq turned his head, not quite understanding what Karin said.
"You look like a mess. Guess what, if something's bothering you right now"
Faiq smiled faintly, there is nothing wrong with Karin's words.
"After a few years, I've finally returned to a place like this"
"Why did you suddenly come to a place like this?"
"Break of heart" Faiq answered without further ado.
Faiq did not feel that the thing he was feeling right now was something that should be hidden from Karin.
"The woman I love is getting married soon"
Faiq hasn't been drunk, Karin knows that. But Faiq who told him something like this, it was clear that Faiq was in need of a listener.
"The woman I met when Fauzi was around?"
Faiq nodded confirming Karin's words.
"He.. She's the woman I've loved all along, who made me do everything. Her.. She's..."
Faiq did not continue his words, and again took a sip of his drink.
"It hurts so much to know that she wants to get married" Faiq's eyes began to tear up.
Karin's impulsive actions raised her hand, but stopped when her hand was only 5cm from Faiq's back. Seeing Faiq like this, made Karin take the initiative to calm him down.
Despite his hesitation, Karin finally patted Faiq slowly on the shoulder, trying to calm the man who looked so poor.
"I've done everything for him Karin, but why... Why did she end up with someone else and not me??"
"Have you done everything for him?"
Faiq.
"No. Even though she wasn't the same as me, I didn't regret doing everything for her at all. What I did to him, is proof of how much I feel about him"
It may seem strange, but in fact the ex-husband and wife are telling stories about their lives.
