The 36th Review

Fauzi and Farhan's relationship improved and returned to normal. Fauzi and Farhan often go out together while Farhan has not been active again in his lectures.

Fauzi finds out that Salwa still loves him from her mother Salwa, who often tells Fauzi about her daughter when she contacts him, it's just that Fauzi doesn't know about Salwa who is still waiting for him and only learned about it about three months ago when he met Farhan for the first time after the last few years they never met, knowing about Salwa who is still waiting for him proves how much Salwa feels about him until now.

A week ago Fauzi called Ms. Salwa to get back to knowing how Salwa was doing but it was the last time Fauzi could find out about Salwa through her mother. It has been six years Fauzi has continuously contacted Ms. Salwa if she wants to know about Salwa to just make up for her longing. Fauzi could have come straight to see Salwa from a distance only he was not sure of himself to survive not getting close to Salwa if he saw her just once. But Fauzi is no longer able to find out about Salwa because Salwa's mother is no longer willing to provide information about her daughter.

"Son, you're all grown up now and I've been giving you all this time. Salwa is home with us now at home, the next step is I will not help you, choose your path from now on.." Said Salwa's mother at the time. Even so Fauzi was still hesitant to come directly to meet Salwa.

Fauzi had resigned from his previous job and chose to return to Mamuju to live with his parents. Fauzi knew, there would be nothing to make up for his longing for Salwa other than seeing her in person. After Fauzi found out from Farhan about Salwa who was still waiting for him, his feelings for Salwa grew bigger and his longing duration became more frequent. Fauzi hopes that with him who works in the same city as Salwa, he can have time at least to just cross paths with Salwa, but until now Fauzi had never once met Salwa or just cross the road.

Night shows at seven past seventeen minutes, Fauzi who had just returned from work before stopping at a restaurant just having dinner with his friends had to be disturbed because of his mother's nagging that sounded very loud.

The tie that has not been completely separated from his neck, socks that have not been removed and a shirt that is still used neatly is also a sense of fatigue that has not been relieved by rest. Fauzi came back down to see what was really going on downstairs until his mother had to grumble about issuing a lengthy lecture like an unamended law.

"What's wrong, ma'am??" Fauzi asked as he approached his mother and his cousin Afifah who was sitting on the sofa with his face bent.

"This is your sister, her stomach acid is rising and she's still just ogah-ogahan if I ask to see a doctor, Mother's time is more worried about her health than her own.." Grouse Mother Fauzi.

"And I'm from Mah's clinic, it's also been medicated.." Reply Afifa defend herself.

"You want to get married, baby, you have to take care of your health. This medicine that the clinic is treating may not work so you should see a doctor for a checkup.."

"Well, the clinic that examined Mah's doctor is also.." Fauzi said he defended Afifah and began to follow his mother by calling Mama because he was used to hearing Afifah call his mother like that.

"Ah anyway just tomorrow should check again to the doctor, you can ask for vitamins as well as doctors so you can be healthy until your wedding day later"

"But I don't want to go check on myself Mah, Brother Zidan is still busy and can't take me to the doctor.." Complain about the reason.

"Let the mother who nganter you.. If we need to go to the hospital tomorrow..."

"Don't argue with Mom Son, it's for your health baby, you have to be fit because you're getting married soon.."

Afifah just put on a sullen face.

"You'll be working tomorrow, son.."

"Well, Mah, I can't go in tomorrow.."

"Yes.. Let Brother Fauzi aja who nganter me, if the same Mama later Mama talk any more with the same doctor.."

"It's for your health, son.."

"Yes Mah.. Afifah check tomorrow.."

"Oohh.. It should be that in front of your father you are like this.." Complaints about Mother Fauzi.

"This how??" Afifah asked confused.

"Yes this fussy, let your papa know how hard it is to keep girls. I'm sometimes tired of hurting your papa asking Fauzi to give her sister a hand, ah I can get old before my time.." Complaints about Mother Fauzi.

"Yes, it's Mah, right.."

"Ah.. I know you're gonna want to beat your dad again.." His mother said he cut Fauzi's words. "Fauzi's taking a quick shower, I've been preparing dinner for the cold.."

Fauzi stepped into his room and cleaned his body.

The night was getting late, but Fauzi still could not sleep. Fauzi constantly felt uneasy considering that tomorrow he would meet Salwa after six years before he had never seen her, actually not spelled out to meet as well, because Fauzi did not plan to see each other, Fauzi only wanted to see Salwa from a distance. There was a feeling of groggyness and a little nervousness, though, Fauzi even had the intention to cancel accompanying Afifah to the hospital tomorrow but because of his longing for Salwa he tried to fight his nervousness in order to see Salwa even once, cancelling Afifah's company also meant looking for trouble for himself, he would get a short talk from his mother and a whimper all day from his very spoiled cousin.

Negative thoughts began to appear in Fauzi's head, what if when he saw Salwa later Salwa had been with others or when they accidentally met Salwa and Salwa threw away his face as if he did not recognize him. Fauzi was still ringing with Farhan's words that Salwa still loved him, but that was months ago, and that doesn't guarantee for now, moreover, Salwa who has worked must have many new people who he met.

"Kc.. Why even think this weird.." Fauzi grumbled as he closed his face. "But what if I meet tomorrow but Salwa doesn't recognize me??" Those thoughts kept haunting Fauzi which made it even harder to sleep.

Fauzi was still struggling to sleep tonight because he had to take Afifah to the hospital tomorrow morning, but as a result until three and a half hours later Fauzi was still awake because of disturbances in his mind.
