Dear, Soul!!

Dear, Soul!!
Lost

Day by noon. Salwa had just finished tidying up the house that had fallen apart while doing her morning activities in preparing all the needs of her beloved husband and children.

Salwa glanced at the wall clock that had shown ten o'clock in less than 15 minutes, indicating that Mikayla was going home from school and she had to pick her up soon.

Salwa rushes out of the house, not wanting Mikayla to wait for her at school. But not a few steps Salwa walked, he rushed back.

“Ah I forgot to lock the door.”

Salwa unpacked the small bag she was carrying, trying to find the key, which she remembered putting in the bag before leaving the house.

“Kok no?” Salwa, still busy looking. “Gosh I forgot, I think it's still in”

Salwa went back in and quickened her steps to take the house keys. But as is common in humans, the more rushed, the harder it is to find something to look for.

Salwa almost surrounded all parts of his house, looking for keys to the house that he never found. Anxiety began to approach him, he was so worried if it was too late to pick up Mikayla, but he also could not leave his house empty without being locked.

“God.. It's there.” Gerutu Salwa, seeing the object he had been looking for was hanging right behind the door.

Salwa hastened her steps after she was so late because her time was seized by the activity of finding the key, which turned out to remain in its place. Salwa walked in haste while occasionally glancing at the circular watch on her wrist.

The distance from Mikayla's school is not far. For the age of Mikayla, the distance that can be reached only by foot, should he be able to travel without the company of his parents, but Salwa never let his only daughter, the wayangnya, go and go home to school by yourself. Every morning, Mikayla will leave with Fauzi, and return home picked up by Salwa.

Bruukkkc...

Due to the hasty pace and the view that was not fully focused on the road, Salwa accidentally hit another pedestrian. But because of his weight that is not comparable to what he hit, Salwa staggered and fell down.

“Sorry, sorry.. I accidentally”

Someone he hit spontaneously humbled and helped Salwa to rise.

“Ah is okay, I am in a hurry to not pay attention to the road.”

“Mother is okay?”

Salwa just nodded and smiled. Respond with a signal that she is fine.

Salwa picked up her fallen bag, dusting off some of the dust sticking by patting her. He raised his wrist and saw the clock approaching ten o'clock.

Previously everything was fine, the intentions he would have been aiming for were still firmly imprinted. The cause of his fall was still he realized which was due to being too rushed to pick up Mikayla. But within a second, something had turned into a puzzling thing.

Salwa lifted her gaze after busy patting her bag, clearing some of the dust that stuck there after falling. But the thing he met after the brief incident was, the confusion that caused him to be blind to the place he was on his feet at this time.

Salwa looked around in confusion. Turn to the right and left alternately, until rotating to ensure the surrounding conditions. The place that was supposed to be familiar, instantly turned foreign.

Salwa is like a person who is blind, blind location. He felt familiar with the place, but was unable to make him know its current location.

Get lost. Yes, Salwa was lost in an area not even far from her home. He did not know where to continue. He could not even remember what caused him to stand there. His goal of picking up Mikayla was also lost from his mind.

A feeling of worry mixed with fear began to attack him. His gaze did not escape sweeping the surrounding area, but really he could not recognize and know where he was now.

A few other passersby stared at Salwa a little strangely. Salwa's constantly looking around her with a confused expression, made her attract the attention of several people.

Salwa forced herself to recognize her current position, but not a single bit was terbesit. The bag he had just picked up earlier, slipped out of his grasp and fell back.

“A-me where?? Wh-why am I here??”

Salwa pulled over, she pulled over regardless of her bag lying in the middle of the road. The only thing he was aware of at this moment was, he would be hit by another passerby if constantly in the middle of the road.

A look of confusion was still emanating in his eyes, still staring around him, hoping that there would be things he could recognize later.

Salwa only nodded, as someone handed her bag which she had stayed lying in the middle of the road earlier. Salwa hugged her bag tightly, not knowing what she should do now.

The phone that Salwa put in her bag shook, making Salwa look around her, diverted to the bag and started looking for her phone.

One message appeared on his mobile taskbar, a message he simply ignored.

“Ah Fauzi.”

The look of Fauzi's photo Salwa used as her phone wallpaper reminded her that there were things she could do now to help her get out of the confusion she was going through right now.

Salwa quickly called out to Fauzi. Yet again, even after her call was answered by Fauzi, Salwa was still busy observing the surroundings and ignored Fauzi's call from across the phone.

“Hello... Hello Salwa..”

Spontaneous attention Salwa distracted and looked at her phone after Fauzi's call from across the phone resuscitated her.

“Fa Fauzi..”

“Iya why darling? You why??”?

“A-me... I'm lost.”

“Missed?? Lost where? Where are you going?”

Fauzi's question again made Salwa aware of his goal, although he still could not recognize the surrounding area.

“Mikaylaa's chat.. I-I'll pick up Mikayla.”

“You want to pick up Mikayla, and you get lost??”

Fauzi did not get an answer that matched the previous question. Salwa's fear makes her no longer able to explain why she can get lost.

“Fa-Fauzi, I don't know where to go. I-I don't know.”

“What do you see now??”

“Ha?” Salwa asked puzzled by Fauzi's sudden question.

“What can you see now?? What's up there?”

Salwa turned her gaze again, trying to find something she could mention to Fauzi, but from now on she had been looking at the surroundings.

“La-field.. To-shop with baby pictures and.”..

“You don't know that place??”

“Ti-no.. Fauzi come quickly here, I'm afraid.”

“OK.. Stay there, don't go anywhere, I'm there now. Don't turn off the phone!!”

“Iya..”

Salwa continued to hold her phone, occasionally answering as Fauzi called out to her. Some questions Fauzi, not entirely he gubris. Salwa just held her phone while continuing to look to the right, alternating to the left waiting while looking for the whereabouts of Fauzi. Salwa did not even know that her husband was coming from right or left, she was completely blind to his current location.

The face covered with a confused expression mixed with worry that was not separated from Salwa's face, slowly fading and changing with a small smile, she said, when his gaze began to find Fauzi who had parked his car across the street and ran a little towards him.

There was a feeling of relief for Salwa after seeing the whereabouts of her husband, a very different expression from Fauzi who was deeply worried about his current wife.
