Dear, Soul!!

H-1 (?)

A warm coconut milk and toast with pineapple jam accompanied my breakfast this morning. It felt so good that I couldn't stop smiling and humming occasionally. Yes this is H-1.

"Why is this mother? How to smile constantly.."

"Hem?? Hehe, it's okay, ma'am.." My answer.

"There is nothing but a smile of his own.."

"Yes Salwa time cannot smile" replied with a smile.

"What's the happiest thing, hem???" Ask the increasingly curious mother.

"Hehe no kok Bu, yes Salwa happy because it's sunny today and now again breakfast accompanied by Mother.."

"Every day is also sunny, Mother is also almost every day you eat breakfast but only around recently you look happy once and today seems happier again than the previous days..."

"Hehehe's okay Mom.. Salwa's leaving first.." I said as I greeted Mom and gave her a sweet kiss on the cheek.

"Be careful, dear..."

"Yeah.." I said as I waved to Mom and passed.

Lately I have felt very happy, especially today where today is the H-1 of my birthday. I still vividly remember what Fauzi said a month ago, and tomorrow is the day he meant.

This past month Fauzi hasn't called me as often as he used to, after all I know because Fauzi is so busy and he's taken a double job. He is busy working in an office and occasionally still does a photo shoot if anyone asks for it. Actually without working as busy as it is Fauzi still very well, the last thing I know his father gave him the responsibility to arrange his extensive plantation but still Fauzi took another job besides taking care of the plantation. Well I know, he will feel useless in his education if he does not realize his knowledge in the work and also his hobby that he is still engaged in now. Hem.. Very hard worker.

"Good morning Izka, izki.." Sapaku on the twins who are busy playing their mobile phones because there are no patients.

"For sister..." Answer them in unison.

"You two? Which other one?" I asked to open the chat.

"Some haven't come and some are still breakfast" Izka replied, not distracting her from her mobile phone.

"Salwa's sister why?" Ask Izki approaching.

"Why? What's the reason?"

"It was so happy yesterday, so was it.."

"Hehehe effects want payday.." Clise answered.

"Last months we also pay, but Salwa's sister is not like this..." Izki asked in confusion.

Izki stepped back to sit down and play my phone.

I really can't hide my happy expression, I always want to smile every time I remember Fauzi's words and more often when I remember tomorrow is my birthday where he will say something to me.

Today runs like usual days, providing services and occasionally meeting patients who struggle, nyolot but ah already discussed it will make heartache only.

At nightfall, all day I was busy working until I could not check my phone.

"Ck single.. A day does not hold Hp but still no notifications enter.." My complaint.

I kind of wish there was a message from Fauzi, at least he asked me to prepare my heart or whatever it was about what he wanted to tell me later, but my phone was completely deserted - including notifications from Fauzi - that absolutely no one had notified me today. "Maybe he wants to give me a surprise, he might think I forgot so he wants to give me a super duper surprise" I thought with a cry.

"What about Fauzi?? She called me or came to talk to me?" Mummurku.. "But I think he was just talking straight, when he came in the middle of the night to the house.." I kept talking to myself while staring at my phone screen.

I never thought there would be a day Fauzi proposed to me. I knew before that this was our original plan, and I was sure that the day Fauzi proposed to me would come but that was before I ruined everything by having a serious relationship with Farhan. Because at the end of the day, I am grateful and very happy.

I keep playing my phone and keep feeling happy. Maybe because of the wait, I felt that time was running so slow but still I waited eagerly.

As time went on, I glanced at the wall clock in the corner of my room, it showed eleven hours past forty minutes, only twenty minutes later I would change my age. I'm getting stubborn right, is it possible that Fauzi will be the first to give me a birthday wish like eight years ago??.

Already entered the turn of the day, twelve o'clock at night was past but there was no notification or telephone entry from Fauzi. Was he so busy in the middle of the night that he hadn't told me when it was fifteen minutes past twelve.

I quickly opened my phone.

"Happy birthday baee.. Hopefully what you are thinking can be realized this year and do not forget to invite me to eat when I come home from honeymoon later.. Wkwkwk anyway greetings love hug and kiss from Nina for Salwaku.."

Ah turns out to be a message from Nina, and this year it wasn't Fauzi who gave me my first birthday wish. There is disappointment in my heart.

I sat there pensively, I had been waiting for these moments but why would it not be in line with my expectations.

One notification came in again and I quickly opened it still wishing it was from Fauzi, yes even though he wasn't the first at least he could be the second person to wish me a happy birthday.

"Happy birthday dear Salwaku.. Long and healthy life always. Hopefully this year Salwaku can be better than the previous years and what his wishes can be realized. Slowly my tears flowed. Not like this.. It's not what I want, I've been waiting for this time but why it's even like this. Did I guess wrong again??
