Chapter 278 - It's Good to See You Again

As captains of each of the 100 C City Hunter Associations, Lucy and Yola are of course the first-row Hunters, right next to Davina.

As the 99 Dungeon gates appeared in the middle of City C, hardly any City C Hunter had come to the location of the gate to help.

Almost all of the Hunters there were only the Hunter-hunters from the Association and a few Academy instructors.

Jo Fizer, the chairman of Hunter Academy was one of the Hunters who came willingly to help.

That A-ranked middle-aged Hunter actually knew that he might just die instantly when those monsters just came out of the gate. But, he certainly couldn't possibly not come when he saw two of his former students and one former Academy instructor were at the forefront of the Hunter-hunters who would fight to defend City C.

"I never imagined you two would be in the front row like this" Jo Fizer praised two former students, Lucy Logan and Yola Silvia.

"We just want to help as much as we can, Mr. Fizer," said Lucy softly, smiling bitterly.

Jo looked at Lucy with great joy. Lucy is the only remaining successor to the Logan family after her two brothers are killed in a raid accident.

If Jo had other options and there were still many strong Hunters coming, he would definitely persuade Lucy to go to the very back row and not bet on life as it is now.

But, other than Lucy, Yola and Davina who were both SS-ranked, no one else could lead those hundreds of Hunters to fight.

There were actually still busty men and large-bodied men ranked S in that army.

There were also Robin, Cassey and Andrew Lloyd who, despite being low-ranked and forbidden by their grandfathers to come to their aid, came anyway.

Fortunately, Yola broke that awkwardness by showing news impressions on her smartphone.

Beberpa Hunter who was near Yola glanced towards the smartphone that Yola was holding, while other Hunters who happened to bring their smartphones immediately saw the impressions coming from the city of Beijing itself.

They witnessed how Miyuki made dozens of gates that could return monsters to where they came from, then made tens of thousands of flying knives that instantly killed thousands of monsters in just one attack.

"He's absolutely amazing. I had indeed expected him to be extremely powerful since he first saw his battle techniques in the Academy first. Though the avatar he used was only E rank but he could defeat many D rank virtual monsters" said Jo.

Davina nodded. "I was also embarrassed as an instructor at the time. I was only able to make peace with that shame when I knew that Miyuki actually did have a very terrible power," said Davina who then laughed.

But, his laughter immediately disappeared upon seeing Miyuki finally fall. From Gina's expression coming straight at Miyuki, she could guess that the incredible Miyuki had finally run out of Mana energy.

Everyone who knew how powerful Miyuki was, swallowed their saliva almost simultaneously.

If Miyuki who was famous as a sadistic slayer alone could be exhausted like that, what about them?

Thinking of that, the Hunter-hunters who were watching the live broadcast through their smartphones, suddenly shivered imagining how strong the monsters would be to come out from behind the gate.

The question was answered shortly afterwards, when the gate was already open.

"Damn. We will die immediately" muttered Davina, who was at the very front of the army.

The tens of thousands of monsters that had just exited the 99 gates instantly stared at the small army in silence. But just a few seconds.

Seeing the prey in front of the eyes, the monsters armed with trident-eyed spears finally ran and flew towards the Hunter troops, who immediately lost the courage to fight.

But, those monsters simultaneously just suddenly stopped.

They were simultaneously staring in one direction, at a small magic gate that suddenly appeared between the monster army and the Hunter army.

Shortly after, a slender woman in a beautiful manner, came out from inside the gate riding a horse.

On the woman's left shoulder, perched a cute-faced animal with brownish fur. While on his right shoulder, there is another reddish-haired animal that is no less cute.

The woman then took out a small iron from behind the long sleeves of her catsuit. As he lifted the iron over his head, the iron suddenly turned into a long black spear that glimmered in the sunlight.

He then unleashed the spear once towards the tens of thousands of monster troops, and the entire army of monsters exploded instantly.

Baaaaaaaaaaaaaanngg!!!

"Oh, it's great to be able to fight again after 30,000 years" Anna said softly, as she put on a beautiful smile.

"Can this be called a fight? It's a massacre" said the god Ogun from Anna's right shoulder.

"Ah... Youre right... Hehe..." Anna then looked around the place and was a bit shocked when she saw that there were dozens of gates. "Why are there so many gates? I guess there's only two or three."

Dewi Ezili sighed softly, "You're too strong to handle this. That's why you think there's only a few gates here."

"That's so..." Anna nodded slowly with a blushed face. "Then the gates that I felt were in that far away place were these many as well?"

"Maybe. We can't feel it the way you feel it" said the goddess Ezili.

Anna finally turned her head to the left, then smiled at the people she had missed so much.

"It's great to see you again" said Anna, who this time did not forget her friends despite having been on an alien planet for a long time.

Although Davina, Lucy and Yola miss him so much, what Anna did to all the monsters makes them gap until they forget that they really want to hug him.

Anna ran her horse slowly, approaching her friends, without caring for the tens of thousands of monsters that had just come out of the gate.

Everyone was initially shocked when they saw the monsters come out again when they thought the monsters had been defeated.

But, what made them even more shocked was when the monsters seemed reluctant to attack when they saw Anna there.
