Chapter 179 - The Battle at Sea

After destroying the building and its contents, Ren immediately jumped down from the terrace of the beach house and he immediately ran away to the beach.

Ren did not make any decisions. He had planned to go to the sea when he was outside the beach house. Ren is confident, he will have the advantage if fighting Fred at sea, even though Fred has a higher rank than him.

However, Fred certainly did not allow Ren to escape from him so easily. By having a running speed that far outperformed a Mage-type Hunter like Ren, the middle-aged man finally managed to catch up to Ren in just a few seconds.

When he arrived near Ren, Fred immediately attacked the teenage man by slashing his dagger at Ren's back.

However, the attack that Ferd did without using that much magic energy only managed to tear Ren's jacket off, instead, without being able to pierce through her skin that was already protected by the thin layer of ice that Ren used to protect her from the attack.

However, the physical attack power generated from the dagger was still making Ren bounced and fell rolling on the sand of the beach.

Ren was about to get up soon, but the pain in his left leg, which had previously been successful in hurting Fred, made him a little shrewd until Fred's next attack, managed to hit Ren's right shoulder which had lost full alertness.

Fred's slash, which he did by using magic energy much greater than his first strike earlier, managed to break through the protective thin ice on Ren's body, until it left a gaping wound that stretched from the shoulder to the right abdomen on Ren's body.

Ignoring Fred's remark, Ren looked up and returned the middle-aged man's gaze with the same haughty look.

"You just want to take me hostage, right?"

Fred smiled cynically at her, "If you had known that, you shouldn't have bothered to put up a fight, young man. Look, you don't have to get hurt like this if you're going to speak up and follow our wishes."

Ren laughed bitterly.

"You should also know that I wouldn't bother fighting you if I had to give up eventually..."

Just as Ren finished speaking, a huge fireball came at him and instantly exploded when it collided with the body of the teenager.

Jordan's guess is correct. Ren is still alive and immediately tries to escape after he is now in the water.

Ren immediately dived and swam along the bottom of the waterfront.

He continued to swim to the depths of the sea to escape from his two opponents.

With her magic energy, Ren can swim very fast. Although he could not use both feet and his right hand to pedal properly, but with just one stroke of his left hand, he could travel up to 8 to 10 meters away.

Accepting the anger of Fred, his boss, Jordan also would not want to immediately throw themselves into the sea.

Ren stopped his escape. He then turned around and pointed his left palm at his two pursuers.

Along with freezing the sea water, Fred and Jordan who had been diving and swimming in the water also froze, trapped in a giant ice block.

With the massive amount of magic energy Ren gave the giant ice piece, Fred and Jordan who were inside, felt a terrifying magic pressure, which was terrifying, until they feel that the pressure seems to want to blow their bodies.

Seeing that his opponent had already frozen, Ren finally swam up to sea level. He then climbed the frozen sea water and ran limping to return to the shore. This was his best chance to escape from them.

Actually, Ren had wanted to blow up the ice along with the two Hunters simultaneously. However, he wasn't sure that they were going to explode along with his ice. There was a risk he had to bear if both opponents were able to escape the explosion. Therefore, he let them remain trapped inside the ice alone.

However, as Ren flashed just above the bodies of the two Hunters, the ice under his feet suddenly melted to make him fall back into the water.

From within the sea, Ren could feel an enormous amount of magic energy and was now darting towards him.

Ren turned his head down and saw a beam of orange fireball light gushing through the freshly melted seawater and going towards the surface.

Ren pointed his left palm at the fireball magic coming towards him to freeze the water under his body.

However, the magic energy emanating from the fireball was too great to overcome, until the fireball continued to shoot and melt the ice that Ren had just made.

Booooooooooommmmm!!!

Along with the sound of a very loud explosion, Ren bounced and flew far into the air.

The explosion was really so powerful that Ren, who was directly affected by the explosion, now floated high and fell without being able to control his body again.

"Sialaaann..."

Only that murmur was heard coming out of Ren's mouth, before he saw Fred who had a red face extinguished from anger, appearing before him.

"Could you be a jerk!!!" Let Fred, before he finally blows his dagger right into Ren's heart.

Stabbb!!!

The dagger stuck into Ren's chest very deeply and then penetrated the heart to his back.

"Arggghhh...!!!"

After successfully beating the teenager's heart, Fred immediately pulled out his dagger. He then kicked Ren's body that was helpless, until it ejected very quickly and fell to the surface of the sea very hard.

"Burn him to nothing!" Fred orders Jordan, shouting loudly.

The middle-aged man felt he had been humiliated when Ren had managed to trap him in the ice. If no Jordan had fire magic that could melt the ice, he did not know if he could survive the ice magic or not.

Given the command that has been very much awaited, Jordan who was already at sea level, immediately dived back to chase Ren's body which was still sliding to the bottom of the sea due to the strength of Fred's kick earlier.

After Jordan manages to catch Ren's body, he brings the defenseless Ren back to sea level.

Jordan then threw Ren's body into the air, then exerted his magic energy to burn the teenager's body with fire magic until it finally scorched Ren's body to ashes.

After destroying the teenagers who made them trouble, Fred and Jordan stand staring at the ashes of Ren's former body that began to fall to the surface of the sea.

"Tell the chairman that he's fighting us all out until we're forced to kill him." Said Fred, who then turned around, and went towards the shore by walking on the surface of the water.

"Yes, sir." Jordan with a wide grin on his lips.
