Chapter 193 - The Holy Temple

Unlike Anna's guess, they reached the shrine within 10 minutes of climbing the steps inside the sacred tree.

'How could we have arrived in this short time?'

Anna glanced at Eleanor, whom the Elf answered with a gentle smile. Anna actually wanted to ask about what kind of magic could make them arrive at the courtyard of the sacred temple very quickly, yet she undoed her intentions after remembering not feeling any magic as they climbed the stairs earlier.

The group then walked back across the courtyard, towards a large circular pond surrounding a small temple in the middle.

"That's the temple?" anna asked Eleanor who was walking next to her.

"Yes, great goddess."

"But..., do we have to jump to get there?" asked Anna again, when she saw no bridge or boat to cross the wide pool.

"We don't need it" Eleanor said. He then smiled and pointed at the group that started walking down the pond. "We just walk into the pool and will arrive directly inside the sacred temple room."

"What?"

Anna then stared at the several Elves who had already 'sunk' into the pond.

Without a doubt, all the Elves immediately walked into the pool, so inevitably Anna followed what they were doing.

Surprisingly, they can walk normally as usual, climbing the bottom of the pool until they arrive at the end of the pool even without using any magic so that their bodies do not float.

Upon exiting the pool, Anna was surprised to learn that her entire body was not wet at all as if she had never gotten into the water before.

Anna looked around the 'room' and could not see the walls in every corner of the temple.

"This is the hall of her sacred temple?" anna asked Eleanor, while still staring here and there and even looking up at the sky.

"Yes. The great goddess."

Anna then looked at Eleanor as she blinked her eyes, with a dazed face.

In fact, they were now in a vast prairie.

When Anna realized that all the Elves were now looking at her with smiles and some were even laughing, she blushed in embarrassment.

'Come on, were you guys not surprised when you first got here?'

Anna then noticed the situation around her once again.

As she recognized the surroundings, Anna was also able to feel the very cool air, even though there was not a single tree there.

However, he finally realized where the cool air came from when he felt the cold coming from the grass in his massage, even the cold to penetrate the rubber shoes he was wearing.

'Is this the stone plate they're referring to? Isn't this a whiteboard?'

Anna ignored the 'stone plate', then looked back at the two wooden statues that emitted a warm aura that even made the sadness in her heart seem to be cured.

As the four Elves representative from each clan had already started the ritual, Anna stepped aside from the Elf crowd, to give them time to carry out their duties.

Anna stared at the moss-green colored wooden statue, which just happened to be glancing at her.

However, as if being caught, the eyes of the statue returned motionless, still looking at Anna.

Anna approached Eleanor, then whispered, "Can the eyes of the statue move? I mean, he just glanced at me."

Eleanor turned to Anna for a moment, then turned her gaze and looked at the moss-green statue.

"From the information that the predecessors left on the sacred scroll, they did say that these two statues were the receptacle for the spirit of the god Eru and the goddess Yolin as they descended into the world, the great goddess,"

"But, ever since they left their earthly bodies here, they never came back again..."

Eleanor stopped her sentence when she realized all the Elves were now staring at her and Anna.

"Great goddess. God Eru asks you to leave this sacred temple."

All of the Elves who were still surrounding the 'stone plate' were shocked as they felt an extremely strong gust of wind pass through them.

Spontaneously, they finally turned to the person who had just been pent up by the gust of wind.

A moment after Fael explained about the contents of the message to Anna earlier, a gust of strong wind containing powerful magic energy suddenly came and attacked Anna.

After Anna was right in front of the statue, the wooden statue in the form of a male Elf, suddenly spoke. However, he did not speak to Anna, but to all the Elves who were there.

"Why did you bring an alien to our sacred temple?!" said the statue in an angry growling tone.

Putting aside the fury of the statue of god Eru, all the Elves trembled as the statue spoke. His voice alone contained an extremely powerful magic energy that made their bodies lose power without them noticing.

"Kneel!" The man's statue's order.

All the Elves immediately fell to their knees before the statues of the gods as the statue of Eru gave the order.

In fact, even Nobara who possessed extremely terrifying strength could not refute the order. His body reflexively obeys the commands given.

Though, Nobara and all the Elves who were followers of Anna, of course did not want to follow that order. However, they did not have any power to resist the magic power of Eru's god statue shackling the body.

Unlike the Elves, the command the statue gave absolutely could not affect Anna. Yet still, he was shackled by magic that made him just as helpless, just like the Elves.
