Chapter 148 - The Unwanted Meeting

Morgan, Robin, and Andrew Lloyd, who recently visited Brandon and Cassey Lloyd, and Joana Nankins, were in the process of contacting Anna to meet up.

Morgan thought that if Anna would forgive her father and step-sister and tell the Association, then leniency would be possible.

The old man had not expected to meet his granddaughter at this place when he was about to ask his personal assistant to contact Anna.

"Anna, can we talk to you for a second?" ask Morgan Lloyd with a hopeful look.

Anna looked at Morgan Lloyd just before she looked at her two half-brothers.

"Are you going to meet your father? You're gonna help your own family ease their punishment, right?"

"I-i... I want to talk to you too." Andrew said in a soft voice.

"I want to stay here. There's something I want to talk to Anna about." Robin stared at Morgan Lloyd.

Morgan stared at Robin for a long time before finally speaking softly to her, "Please persuade her to speak to the Association to ease your father's and mother's punishment."

Robin nods slowly, then walks over to Anna, followed by Andrew.

Morgan Lloyd goes with Ronald Stewart, while Gina splits up to meet Luke, her sister.

After everyone left, Robin finally spoke to Anna.

"Anna.., I want to apologize to you for covering up the incident even though I already knew about it."

Anna and Andrew were shocked upon hearing the confession and looked at Robin who lowered her head in silence.

A little while later, Anna finally spoke, "You know about it?"

"Y-yes. I overheard father and master Lau talking unintentionally. I know I'm guilty of not directly reporting it to the Association. I wanted to meet you and tell you this when I drove Grandpa to meet you. I will turn myself in to the Association because I am also guilty of covering it up."

Not only Anna, even Andrew was surprised to know that.

Anna shook her head. "Here it is, let's talk later. Will you accompany me to see my mother?"

Robin's surprised. She thought that Anna wanted to meet Cassey and did not expect at all if she wanted to see her mother.

"Mother?"

After the guard officer left them, Anna immediately spoke without further ado to find out what she wanted to investigate.

Getting the question, Joana Nankins who previously tried to look calm, immediately glared at Anna.
