Chapter 191 - The Re-Gathering of the Elven Families

Gina shut down the live broadcast from the front of the Dungeon gate that had been taken from the City C satellite after seeing Nyrna and Cirdan re-enter the Dungeon.

There was a slight feeling of relief in his heart when he saw Nyrna and Cirdan suddenly appear there which signified that Anna was fine. He knew, no one could connect with that Elf other than Anna herself.

"It's good that we don't have to bother going back" Kevin said, inserting a smartphone into his pants pocket.

"But, City C seems to be back in a moment" said Gina.

Kevin looked at the woman, then smiled.

"What matters is that you look happy now."

"What?"

"You've been looking grim for months."

Gina smiled bitterly.

"Well, at least I know Anna's okay."

"What's? All this time your grim face was because you were thinking about it?"

Gina now looked at Kevin with an unhappy look.

"How am I not worried? He just disappeared and wasn't seen in a few months."

"Hey, you're worried about the wrong person, okay?"

"So, you're alone..., aren't you worried about Anna?"

Kevin did not answer that question. He then looked at his comrades, who gave an angry look at him.

'What's wrong with these people? They all worry about him? They didn't realize how strong the boy was?'

Not wanting to argue, Kevin finally turned around and went back to the ruins of the building and sat there quietly enjoying a cigarette before they returned to work.

After Nyrna destroyed the magic pillar, she and Cirdan finally joined the group that was sitting in a small circle, right on the river bank.

Fael, looks cool chatting with Peral, his best friend.

While Nobara seemed to be talking seriously with Zobyr, discussing how he had been in the presence of alien beings who later came to know as demons who tried to instigate various creatures on many planets to follow him.

Nobara also tells how he and all his clan members always experience delusions every few days while still storing demonic Mana energy in their bodies. And they've been through it for years.

The delusions only disappeared after Tzaca managed to remove the entire demon Mana from his body and the bodies of all his clan members, until their darkened skin had returned to normal as usual.

From the moment the Elves of the Wind Clan received the demonic Mana energy that made their skin color darken that was when they got the nickname Dark Elf by the Hunter on Earth. They were just ordinary Elves like the other Elves.

In addition to the darkened skin of the body, they also always felt uneasy due to the evil influence emanating from that demonic Mana, especially when they were around Anna.

Fortunately, Anna used to think that demonic Mana energy was just ordinary evil Mana energy. Had Anna by then known that it came from a demon, Nobara and her clan members would have already perished at the hands of the girl.

Seeing that Anna was sitting alone without any Elves who dared to invite her to speak, Nyrna and Cirdan approached and sat on her left and right sides.

As Nyrna started talking to Anna and calling her a grand goddess, the sumua Elf who was in the circle turned to them.

"Great goddess, may I and Cirdan go visit our family and clan for a moment?"

"Of course" said Anna.

Hearing that, Zobyr turned to Fael who was sitting a bit away from him.

"Are you going back to following this creature?" ask Zobyr.

However, it was not the answer that Zobyr got. As soon as he finished his sentence, Zobyr gasped in shock as Nobara suddenly pulled out a dagger from his thigh and pointed it right at Zobyr's neck.

Although the strength of the two Elf leaders was balanced, now Zobyr was nothing to Nobara so he did not have time to move away from the dagger.

If Nobara wanted to, Zobyr would have lost his head.

Not only Nobara, Zobyr even saw Glynka, who was a member of his own clan, already lifting a bow and pointing an arrow at him.

Although Fael, Eleanor, Nyrna and Cirdan did not threaten her directly with weapons, Zobyr could feel a threatening look from both of their eyes.

"You should call her a great goddess when you mean to call her." Nobara said, with a threatening look.

"W-what.., but..."

"Down your weapons Nobara, Glynka..." Anna Pinta.

Hearing the order, Nobara and Glynka lowered their heads obediently, then lowered their weapons.

"Sorry to have surprised you" Anna said, staring at Zobyr and smiling awkwardly.

Previously, Legalos and his two bodyguards had only just arrived at the neutral zone gate after a few days of travel, but they finally returned again when they saw the darkness overshadowing the entire region that was the residence of the Fire Clan.

Feeling sympathy for the Fire Clan, the envoys from other clans ended up coming with Legalos. Aside from sympathy, they thought, all the clans would have a truce to deal with the nation of invaders that would soon come to their planet. So they did not need to worry about any traps from other clans.

Unfortunately, when Legalos arrived around the place, he immediately saw Nobara threatening his clan leader with a weapon.

Feeling familiar with the voice, Legalos who was hovering in the air immediately turned his head towards his coming voice and almost cried when he saw his beloved daughter was there, among the Elves.

Legalos then looked the other way and found that Fael and Glynka were also there.

Seeing that his three children were in that place, Legalos was unable to hold back his cries anymore.

Eleanor finally released Legalos from her magic shackles.

The family who had not met for a long time finally hugged each other and cried.

Although the sight seemed heartwarming to all the Elves, Anna instead looked at the sight with a tingly feeling.

'What will humans think when they see Elves embracing each other and crying like this?'

However, while remembering that she was also a human, Anna finally could not help but laugh anymore. But, Anna could only laugh for a moment, when she realized that all the Elves around her suddenly turned their heads and looked at her in a daze.

After all the envoys agreed, they prepared to return to the neutral zone, where the holy temple was located.

"Fael, since you're back, you'd better leave" Legalos asked his eldest son.

However, Fael immediately rejected it. "No father, I, Ele and Glyn cannot abandon our great goddess."

"W-what?"

Feeling bad for Fael's rejection of Legalos because of her, Anna finally gave her advice.

"Why not just have that conversation here?"

"They need a clue from the goddess, the great goddess." Answer Fael.

"Hint?"

"Yes. The goddess of our nation who is in the sacred temple will give us a clue when our nation asks for enlightenment for the war to be fought."

Knowing that, Anna became interested.

"Will he answer when you ask?"

"Not always. But, for such an important matter, the goddess would usually directly give a hint through a stone plate that was in the sacred temple."

Anna is now really interested and curious.

"What if we go there too?"

Fael immediately bent his body. "If you want to go, we'll take you."

Legalos' words were interrupted when Fael suddenly drew out a sword and placed the sword eye right on his father's neck.
