The Goddess Of War

The Goddess Of War
Chapter 189 - Goodbye

"Wait, wait! Don't kill him!" Reinhard Bern exclaimed, raising both hands in front of his body, intending to prevent Sylph's actions.

Sylph did not understand what Reinhard was saying. However, from the man's body language, he understood that his opponent was begging him not to kill their prisoner.

"Rei, why do you want to negotiate with this monster? We have to kill them and get back to the first team." Reprimand one of the Hunters who was unhappy with Reinhard's actions.

"That's right. After all, isn't that Anna? We'll get a big reward if we get his head!" Another Hunter.

However, Reinhard glared at him. He was not happy with the reprimand and still wanted to save Anna.

"There's business I haven't done with him" Reinhard said.

He then looked at Anna while smiling cunningly.

'So the Elves managed to make him helpless like this? I'll cut off both his legs and hands before I play around a little.'

Reinhard stops Sylph's actions not because he really wants to save Anna. Reinhard intends to torture Anna a little before killing her, given the actions Anna has done that have kept her locked up for months in Hunter prison.

Not just on himself. What Anna has done has also made her family affected and bear the insults of the upper class Hunter, after Anna dismantled the events that occurred in Asian Soul.

'I won't let him die so easily before tormenting him!'

Reinhard turned his gaze to the three Elves before him. His cunning smile grew even more as he knew, the three Elves had Mana energy one level below.

Reinhard finally took a swing to attack and made his movements very clear.

After seeing his opponent growing more alert, he began to attack.

Reinhard aimed his sword in a slow motion towards one of the Elves who was beside Sylph with a piercing motion that clearly pointed towards his chest.

It was the cunning means he used to use while fighting against an enemy weaker than him. He made a rather slow move to be seen by the opponent, just to deceive them.

As the Elf was preparing to fend off its attack, Reinhard suddenly turned a direction and shot swiftly piercing towards Sylph.

Of course Sylph was shocked when the man suddenly changed the direction of the attack and increased his speed.

Sylph hurriedly moved backwards to avoid that surprise attack. However, due to his lack of vigilance, his attempt to dodge the attack became futile as Reinhard's sword tip was already right near his neck.

Tapp...

Reinhard grinned broadly as he felt the tip of his sword hit on the opponent's neck.

However, just as he was about to draw back his sword and intended to directly attack the other two Elves, the sword was completely immobile, held back by an enormous force.

Intrigued by the force holding back his movements, Reinhard looked towards his blade and was startled to see his blade sandwiched between two slender fingers which then drew his sword forcefully.

With just one attractive move, the two slender fingers managed to snatch the sword from Reinhard's grasp with great ease, leaving Reinhard shocked and instantly jumping back several meters.

Anna suddenly opened her eyes and sat down slowly. He then turned to Sylph who was panting from fear when the tip of the sword almost pierced his neck.

"I'm not your enemy. Just sit down and don't interfere" Anna told Sylph.

Sylph looked back at Anna with widened eyes, shocked when the creature suddenly woke up and spoke using her language.

"L-anna... Are you conscious?" reinhard said with a trembling voice. Not only his voice, his body also began to tremble due to his fear.

Reinhard knew he would no longer have the chance to commit his cunning intentions to Anna, when she was conscious.

Anna's ignoring.

Then, with a gentle movement, Anna then stood up, without supporting her body.

His body suddenly lifted lightly as if an invisible hand had pulled him up from the ground.

Anna then turned her head to the 3 Hunters who were slowly moving backwards, trying to get away from her, before her gaze returned and stopped on Reinhard Bern.

With a cold gaze, Anna stepped slowly towards Reinhard.

"They set you free and gave you the demonic Mana energy?"

Just looking at him, Reinhard was already shuddering in horror, especially when he felt the Mana energy in his body churning abnormally, as Anna started walking towards him.

As they met in the Asian Soul hall first, Reinhard felt perplexed when all the powerful Hunters could Anna defeat easily, whereas he knew that Anna had a very small Mana energy and looked very weak.

But now, he finally realized how powerful the aura of Mana energy Anna had because the demonic Mana Energy present within her body could detect the terrifying aura that Anna had.

The demonic Mana energy in his body even felt as if he refused to be near Anna, making Reinhard seem forced to retreat away.

"Now, can you feel it?" ask Anna suddenly. "Your body is getting hotter, isn't it?"

"What do you mean?"

"Energy Mana the devil in your body. You feel uncomfortable being close to me, don't you?"

"... But, why..."

"I've told the world that they are demons. And you.., you seem to be hanging out with them."

While speaking, Anna continued walking closer to the three Hunters very slowly.

The way it went instead made Reinhard and his two colleagues feel more afraid and of course they also continued to step back.

"A-anna. ki-we have to talk first..."

"I purposely displayed an aura of my Mana energy just wanting you to feel regret before I killed you."

"W-what..."

"Good bye."

Wush...

Reinhard suddenly felt a cold wind pass through his neck skin.

Pluck... Plukkkp...

Soon, Reinhard realized that it was his own body, which had now lost its head.

Reinhard also noticed that there were two other bodies beside his body that had also lost their heads.

He finally found the heads of his two colleagues were already on the ground, right near the legs of each body.

Before his gaze darkened and lost consciousness altogether, Reinhard finally realized that Anna had cut off his neck.

After taking care of her affairs with the three Hunters, Anna turned around and looked at the three Elves who were trembling in fear as she saw the communication that was going on between Anna and the three Hunters.

From the body language of the three Hunters alone, they could tell how powerful the woman who had been asleep inside the Sylph tent was.

The three Elves looked at the body of the Hunter-hunter who was now lying on the ground with a trembling gaze. They knew that the three Hunters had Mana energies one to two levels above them.

So, when Anna was able to cut off the necks of the three very easily, their fear grew even more.

However, the moment Sylph saw Anna's cold gaze suddenly disappear when their gazes met each other, Sylph could feel a little relieved.

He knew Anna didn't mean to harm him.

"Wait a minute" Anna told Sylph, who she knew was terrified.

Anna then opened the gate of her creation world, then called out a few names after the gate was fully opened.

Sylph was a bit shocked when Anna mentioned some very familiar names in her ears.

Soon, from inside the gate, 6 Elves appeared. And sure enough, the 3 names Anna mentioned earlier were the same as the Elves Sylph knew.

"Geele!" sylph exclaimed, as he looked at Eleanor who had been his playmate ever since they were kids.

"Sylphs!" exclaimed Eleanor who then ran towards Sylph and hugged her tightly.

Seeing the faces of the two female Elves, Anna recalled her friends on Earth whom she had not seen in weeks.

The memory eventually brought him back to the dead Ren, so he turned his eyes to the other Elves.

Anna turned her gaze towards Fael, who seemed to be staring far away in a direction with a frown.

"You see them?" ask Anna to Fael.

Fael shook his head, "No, I can only feel their magic energy, grand goddess." Sahut Fael's.

However, when Fael realized that it was not the battle in the distance that Anna meant, Fael finally followed Anna's index, which led to 3 heads scattered on the ground.

"Yes, great goddess?" Fael said again, as if understanding Anna's intentions and preparing to wait for orders.

"Graving the throats of all those creatures and throwing all his heads out the gate."

Fael looked at Anna doubtfully.

"But, aren't they from your nation, great goddess?"

Anna smiled miris.

"They're lost. Just kill it."

"I'll do it." Said Fael who then went with Cirdan and Nyrna, whom he asked to go with him.

Anna now turns to Glynka.

"You can see the creature that was fighting with Peral's army?" ask Anna to Glynka.

Glynka nodded.

Anna then gazed in the direction where Peral's troops were trying to break through the defensive wall created by Hunter who was desperately surviving their rampage.

"You can see five miles now?"

Glynka's face flushed red and she scratched her head with a blushed face. "My line of sight is now up to ten miles over, great goddess." Glynka.

Anna nodded, smiling happily.

"But, can your arrows penetrate their defensive walls?"

Glynka gazed back into the distance, to observe the density of magic energy protecting the bodies of the Hunters.

"The protector's not very strong." Glynka said, after he made his observation.

"Do it now" Anna ordered.

Glynka took out a bow and an arrow, then started aiming.

"Are they not twelve?" Said Anna, who was a little confused when Glynka only used 1 arrow.

Glynka threw out her arrows first, before she answered the question.

"One is enough, great goddess."

Anna finally followed the movement of the arrow, which shot out in the invisible, going 5 miles towards the battle area.

A few seconds later, Anna was amazed when the arrow finally broke through the heart of a Hunter, then turned towards another Hunter and did the same to all Hunters.

"You're advancing so fast!" Praise Anna, while looking at Glynka with her sparkling eyes.

In such a face, making Glynka's face more blushing and misbehavior.

Meanwhile, Sylph and her two bodyguards who had no visibility as far as Glynka and Anna, only stared at them with confused faces.

Moreover, they were actually not paying much attention to what Anna and Glynka were talking about. They took a more alert stance, while watching over one of the tall and slender Elves, who was still standing quietly in front of the gate.

They knew the Elves. He was the leader of the Wind Clan Elves who had been the enemy of the Fire Clan Elves all along.
