All the Qania families waved their hands as Qania was about to enter and make the flight. Weeping bitterly parted with Arqasa powerless Qania weir. It's just that his son who doesn't understand anything just smiled very sweetly at him making Qania feel it's his son's way of giving him the spirit to quickly finish his studies and come back again to be with him.
While on the plane, Qania just kept quiet while trying to brush his mind on his son because he remembered the message of his mother.
“Don't think of your son, he will definitely miss you and will look for you if you keep thinking about him. Relax, there is Mama and Papa and your in-laws who will take care of your child. He won't lose anything. Study hard and hurry back”,.
Qania sighed, taking the phone she had switched on in flight mode and putting on her headset and listening to a recording of Arkana singing. It was the only thing that could comfort him and accompany him while facing his loneliness.
*
It did not feel the plane that Qania was riding had landed perfectly on the runway in the city he was headed and would be his residence for approximately four years.
Qania walked up and found an invitation to the hotel her in-laws had rented for a few days because Qania insisted on renting a room rather than the apartment her parents had offered.
The car took Qania to a star-rated hotel that was floor-to-floor after checking in Qania directly between them to her room. Because of fatigue Qania was immediately asleep without bathing or changing clothes first, habit.
*
Qania was already preparing to leave for the University, he did not feel alien to this new city because it used to be when he did a student exchange he attended the same University with which he would enter this time.
Qania got down from her eighth-floor room and walked out of the hotel to look for the transport she would use to go to the campus because today was her test day. Not long after, a taxi passed by and Qania immediately boarded.
“Gm university pak” says Qania.
“Good mbak” replied the driver.
Qania looked out and smiled because this city had changed a little. About three years ago he came to this city and now he comes again, of course this city has changed.
Without Qania knowing, the taxi had entered the campus area.
“Mbak has reached” said the taxi driver.
“Oh yes sir, thanks” said Qania then give money.
“Sama-sama, mbak”,.
Qania stared at the unchanging campus building, only the plants were further beautifying the environment. Qania walked towards the room held a college entrance selection test with a pounding heart.
Inside the room were many prospective new students, Qania felt small of course. Not because he is not clever, only he feels that those from the same city are certainly more masterful of the material to enter the University.
“Huh quiet Qania, you can definitely” he whispered to himself.
Qania sat in his chair and immediately filled out the matter of the hundred numbers, he was a little relieved because of what he learned from his papa books and there were many in-laws who came out. Not until the time specified Qania has completed it.
“Fyuuhh, hoping to pass despite being in the final rank” said Qania breathing a sigh of relief after exiting the examination room.
Qania stepped out of the campus area to look for transportation but accidentally glanced at a paper stuck at the bus stop.
“Wah there are cheap hostels near here. I'd better go to this address aja” said Qania after reading the paper and then take it.
Qania started down the road and stopped right in front of the high iron fence as it was on the paper.
Qania squinted at this building in front of him.
“Astagfirullah, this is my first boarding house” said Qania while patting his eel.
“I am no stranger to this road. Maybe because a lot has changed and increased in the complex here” said Qania then opened the gate in front of him.
Qania's view was on a woman who was about sixty years old sweeping dried mango leaves in the yard. Qania smiled then walked towards the woman.
“Assalamu’alaikum nek Nilam” greet Qania with enthusiasm.
Nek Nilam stopped his activity and then saw Qania standing in front of him.
“Wa’alaikum greetings. Find who nak?” tanyakanya.
“Nek, it's Qania from T. I used to spend here three years ago loh” said Qania recounting.
He seemed to think like he was remembering something.
“Nak Qania the son of the handsome DPRD chairman?” tanyanya.
“Yes, one hundred for granny” said Qania then hugged the old woman.
“How are you doing, son? What purpose did you come here for?” ask Nilam while holding Qania's hand and taking her to sit on the terrace.
“Alhamdulillah my good news grandma. I'm here to go to college again majoring in Law. Oh yes I'm here to spend again grandma, there is still an empty room?” ask Qania who he knew that the house was quiet and from the brochure he got this room still has three empty rooms which means there is only one person who rented his room.
Qania felt sorry for Nilam's elderly grandmother, she relied on room tenants for her daily meals and this time she only had one room tenant. Of course, he is currently very deficient. Her husband died a long time ago and her son was married but his life was mediocre as well.
“Sure” answers excited.
“Your old room is still empty, let's go to”.
“Asyik” cheers Qania then comes walking behind Nilam's nek, he removes the tears that drip down his cheeks as fast as lightning.
Nek Nilam opened the door of the room that Qania had occupied, he immediately invited Qania to sit on an iron bed that could only accommodate two people.
“Still the same Yes Nek” said Qania.
“Sure, this room is rarely occupied because it is in the middle. The average person here chooses a room in the back and in the front. He said that if you come home late do not bother grandma” story.
Qania knew Nilam's grandmother was lying a bit because this room seemed like no one had rented it for a long time. Seen from the cobwebs and also the dust in this room.
“Kalai so Qania want to spend in this room ya Nek. But this time Qania will stay for approximately four years, grandma does not mind long see the face of Qania” joked Qania but put on a pleading look.
Qania saw Nilam's eyes sparkling, in his heart he felt relieved.
“Of course, ten years Grandma did not mind” she replied happily.
“Wah thank you, Grandma. But Qania had to go back to pick up things at the hotel. Later in the afternoon Qania came here with all the Qania” fighting tools to make Nilam's grandmother laugh.
“Hahaha nak Qania is always funny. Yes, you should quickly go back to the hotel and immediately take your belongings. Bair Granny prepare your room first ya” he said excited.
“No need Nek, later Qania aja” reject Qania.
“Not anything”,.
“Hmm well as Grandma is not tired. Qania go first ya” pamait Qania then kiss Nilam's nek's hand.
Nek Nilam escorted Qania to the gate of her house, and she walked back to the bus stop to find a taxi. Qania walked down the street and accidentally saw a cafe near the campus that caught his attention.
“Pullik” said.
Qania wanted to stop but he remembered his promise to Nilam to return soon. Fortunately, while Qania was looking at the cafe, a taxi passed in front of him so he quickly intercepted it and entered and gave the driver his hotel address.
*
Qania had finished her bath and now she was ready with her suitcase, which was still intact because she only took two pairs of clothes. Before he came out, he sat down on the couch and called his dad.
“Hallo Pa, Assalamu’alaikum” greet Qania.
“Wa’alaikum salam nak. How are you?”,.
“Alhamdulillah good Pa. My son where's Pa?”,.
“Oh yes Pa, Qania would like to ngabarin if Qania already got a boarding place and Papa knows where the place is”,.
“Oh yes? Where's darling? Safe no?”,.
“That's Pa loh, where Qania ngekost used to be in Nilam's house. Papa remind?”,.
“Oh you cost there baby, thank goodness. It is not far from the campus, later if there is time we will visit”,.
“Wah nice idea pa. Hm, it was Pa. Qania want to check out first, Nilam's grandmother has been waiting for”,.
“Yes already, you be careful son. Assalamu’alaikum”,.
“Wa’alaikum salam”,.
Qania stared at the wallpaper of her phone before she put it in the bag. She smiled at the picture of her smiling son.
“Sabar yes son, Mami will not be long anyway. This is for us” said Qania Lirih then stood up and pulled two suitcases out.
After checking out Qania immediately looking for a taxi to drive him directly to Nilam's house. Luckily in the neighborhood around the hotel was a lot of taxis that passed by so he did not have to wait long to get a taxi.
The taxi took Qania to the address he gave her. As Qania flashed in front of the kefe that had caught his attention.
“Pak can please stop for a moment. I want to get into the cafe first” said Qania.
“Good mbak” answer.
Qania's heart thumped as soon as he entered the cafe courtyard which was quite beautiful but the appearance of the cafe was very modern.
“My feeling or indeed this cafe is similar to the cafe has papa Setya near the park huh?” muttered Qania while walking into the cafe.
Qania was quite astonished by the arrangement inside the cafe.
“Truly similar. Is this papa's cafe?” muttered Qania who was still dumbfounded.
“Excuse me mbak, please sit down and want to order what?” greet one of the waiters in the cafe who looks very young.
“Oh, sorry mbak. I just wanted to survey first because I just moved and my taxi was waiting. I have to go back to my boarding house to drop off my things and come back here. Is it okay, mbak?” ask Qania who inexplicably had such words come out of her mouth.
The servant's forehead shriveled.
“Oh new citizens, where do you want to go?” tanyakanya.
“Not far from here at home nek Nilam” replied Qania.
“Oh yes? Wah means we are home dong ya, I also ngekost there” he said girang.
“Wah so happens. Means we will be friends after this” said Qania happy.
“Sure, I'm Fatmala, call Lala” he said introducing himself.
“Qania. Oh yeah I went back first pity the taxi driver was waiting. You don't want to go home yet?” ask Qania.
“My work hours are only an hour away. You first aj” he replied.
“Oke, we'll eat here tonight and I'll take Qania with me.
“Woah hurang kaya” kekehnya.
“No, consider aja salam introductions” elak Qania.
“Okay, wait at home by Nilam ya. Not long I will go home” said Lala.
“OK, back first ya” said Qania then left Lala who looked at her with a happy smile.
*
Qania, Lala and Nilam are now walking towards the cafe as promised to Lala to treat them to dinner at the cafe. Nek Nilam initially refused, but with a million persuasions of Qania and Lala he finally agreed too.
“Oh yes Qan, what are you doing in this city?” lala asked as she walked into the cafe.
“Kuliah’ replied Qania, her eyes constantly combing the cafe room.
“New student?” ask Lala again.
“Iya, Law department” replied Qania.
“Well, did you take the test too?”, then,.
“Iya, well hopefully we will be in class ya” said Qania happy.
“Ayo Nek, we sit there” invite Lala to point towards the corner of the cafe whose view leads to the side garden that has a fish pond.
Nek Nilam just obey, while Qania he seems to have memorized with every corner of this cafe room. They sat down and one of the male servants came to give the menu book. They ordered the same meal of fried rice and various snacks and three mango juices and water.
“Oh yes La, your boss whose name is it?” ask Qania.
“Oh boss of this cafe rarely come here, his name is boss Tristan Anggara” replied Lala smiling.
“Well you smile-smile” reprimand nek Nilam.
“Respired boss Lala sakep Nek” replied Lala shyly.
“Oalah” kekeh nek Nilam's.
‘Hmm, apparently not have papa Setya. But exactly the same huh?” inner Qania was disappointed.
“Emang why is it Qan?” search Lala.
“No, I want to apply for work here” replied Qania origin.
“Emang your papa has gone bankrupt son Qania. Not that your papa is the chairman of the DPRD and a businessman huh?” ask Nilam in shock.
“APPAA? Wah Qania lo son of an official and businessman. I didn't expect my friend was getting rich” said Lala excited.
“Huss the rich was my parents, not me” rebut Qania.
‘I'm actually rich, Papa Setya's inheritance is mine and mine. But what is it necessary in friendship?’ inner Qania.
“Sama aja” says Lala does not want to lose.
Nek Nilam only smiled at the familiarity of Qania and Lala, his boarding child who had only three months occupied his house. Soon their ordered food came and they immediately devoured it while chatting ria of course.
