"Honey," called Bas staring at the lover.
The girl who was sitting on the sofa by herself turned her head.
"Yes, Mas?"
"Here" whined the brown man.
Nilam got up and approached the bed. He was sitting in a plastic chair as usual.
"What's wrong?" ask the girl.
"Why was he from earlier?" The bus asked.
"Trus I must what donk?" sahut Nilam listless.
The bus breathed heavily. Look at the girl in front of him. Looks like he has to provide more patience, for his lover.
"What about our conversation? Is something still in your heart?" ask the bus at last. He discussed the serious conversation that took place with their two fathers a while ago.
Before Mr. Indra and Mr. Brata came home, they invited the two to have a serious conversation when Nilam just arrived at the hospital. They discussed the relationship between the two that was not yet clear. The two middle-aged men gave so much advice to both Bas and Nilam. Ask them to think of the best for both families, and not to play games with marriage.
"Nothing, anyway. I still think of Auntie. I'm afraid he doesn't like me" Nilam said honestly.
"One side I want to be indifferent, mas. I don't care what the brand does. Focus the same what I want, focus the same what we have planned. But on the other hand, I can't ignore it. Anyway, Aunt Rahma is still the birth mother of Mas Bas. I know I must love him very much. I don't want to be considered as a destroyer of Mas relationships with my own biological mother" explained Nilam.
"Nothing's been tampered with, honey. What my father suggested, it was the best. We didn't really cut off our relationship with our mother. Just give a limit on what can and cannot be passed by us or our own mothers" said Bas trying to convince Nilam.
"Believe the same, everything will be fine. No one will blame you for the decisions we make. After all, why care about people? It's the one who's been through both of us, right? All the pain, the bitterness, and the fall, we know. So learn to close your eyes and ears to outsiders" Bas said, holding Nilam's hand.
"Yes, Mas, I will learn for it" Nilam said at last, after a short silence.
With a smile Nilam returned the hand of his lover with no less tightly, returning Bas's gaze that looked so longing.
There was a feeling of relief creeping in the heart of the girl. Finally his uneasiness all along found the antidote. He is now more confident stepping, after so much input and advice obtained from his family and friends.
"May not kiss me anyway" sings Bas, making Nilam look up and take off his hand with a slight jerk. Surprised by what he heard, and it came out of the lover's mouth.
"Aauu," had not yet had the girl protest, the screams of her lover made Nilam panic.
"Mas why? What's that hurting?" he got up and approached the bus. He forgot the bad talk Bas had said before.
The hand that was freed from the infusion needle pulled Nilam, causing the girl to fall. And that chance Bas used to steal a kiss on his alabaster-white cheek belonged to his lover. The shock made Nilam surprised and feeling annoyed. Angrily he pinched the stomach of Bas who was still wrapped in hospital clothes, until the Bus really screamed in pain.
"Or woee's place!" The sound of the doorway made Nilam immediately move away from Baskara's bed. He can not cover his shame, like a perverted partner who is caught by the citizens.
"Tau, you guys just smell good, but hold on first. It's a hospital, not a hotel room" Satria said as she stepped closer to the bus bed.
Nilam lowered his head. If you can, it feels like he disappeared from that place, right then and there.
"Well, you're here? Just interrupt!" piety Bas, don't care about the babble of the sister.
"Ck, just now, say I'm a bully. Yesterday who took care of the time Mba Nilam has not come?" satria's taunts made Bas speechless. The young man's eyes glanced towards Nilam who was still looking down. Knowing that Nilam was uncomfortable with his jokes, Satria switched the subject. He deliberately discusses things outside of his relationship, hoping that Nilam's awkward race can be lost. But still, the ends of their discussion returned to the matter of the relationship between the two.
Satria was happy when they knew they had made a decision together and continued the plan that had been delayed before.
"May you always be filled with happiness" Satria's heartfelt prayer for her brother and sister-in-law.
