SECOND LOVE

SECOND LOVE
CHAPTER 139

Baskara grabbed Nilam's hand, as the girl had already stepped towards the parking lot. A tired look clearly appeared on the brown-skinned handsome man's face. He looked at Nilam sharply. I don't like the way my boyfriend solves problems.

"Do you think everyone should know that we're fighting?" asked the bus in a cold voice.

Patchouli silent. Lazy answer Baskara's question.

"The problem is there to be solved, dear! Not avoided, not covered up. Understand no?"

Nilam is still tight-lipped. The girl's brain suddenly stalled. Can't think what to answer.

The Bus reaction just now, made the prejudice wild everywhere. Although that is not necessarily the case, but she felt that her future husband would definitely side with his mother and sister. As in the story of the hurt woman novel, Bas would definitely not want to hear what he said, and prefer the fictional story that Utari wrote. And imagining that, made Nilam's anger run high.

And now, Bas is blaming him again. Saying that he always avoids problems, and chooses to run. That's not true! He is not running away from trouble. Just preparing to face it.

Without saying much, Bas pulled his girl by the hand, taking her to the motorbike he parked across the street.

"I'm home with the bike, Mom!" Said Nilam trying to take off the hand grip Bas.

"Let Amanda take the bike" said Bas.

"He's got his own bike! It's not safe here, I'll lose my bike" Nilam managed to take off the grip of Bas's hand. The girl set her foot back towards the boutique parking lot. However, Bas managed to catch up to him.

"Go home!" Baskara raised her tone.

Nilam was shocked and scared, finding anger clearly on the face of her future husband.

Realizing that, Bas took a deep breath.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to snatch you. But please, do not argue now," said Bas full of emphasis.

"Lam," Amanda comes near the two.

"She, I'm afraid" Nilam whispered to his best friend.

"Why afraid? There's not gonna be anything. Trust me, "persuade Amanda.

" Bas Mas, take care of Nilam. Do not let anything happen to him," Amanda said to Baskara, then stepped away after Nilam was forced to hand the key to his friend.

Nilam sat a little far from his girlfriend's back. He was still afraid of Baskara's clash, the first he experienced. His mind drifted everywhere. Was it really her decision to marry this man? His face was scary when he was angry. Sounds creepy. And he doesn't like that.

Nilam's conscious bus kept his distance from him. He then grabbed the girl's hand, then carried it to his stomach.

"Close grip, I want to speed," he said.

Nilam had to comply. And sure enough, the pace of the Bas bike is like a racer on the circuit. Overtaking from the left and right, so agile, as if the road was traversed unhindered. There are still many other vehicles passing by.

Nilam could only close his eyes, with his chest pounding irregularly. He's getting scared. Plastered his face to Bas's back, he closed his eyes and closed the prayer in his heart. Without Nilam noticing, his tears flowed without excuse, wetting the jacket that his lover was wearing.

The bus slowed down the speed of his motor, Nilam's vibrating body, making him realize something. Girl crying.

"Lam," he called when the speed of the motor was back to normal. Intentionally he tilted his head, in order to hear the advice of his lover.

"Hmm" the girl's great-grandson shrieked.

Back the bus drove the bike a little fast, until they arrived at one of the parks that was already a bit quiet.

There are only a few street vendors who are also ready to close their trades.

"Come," asked Bas, extending a hand towards Nilam.

"May you know, what have you, mother, and Utari covered from the mas?" the man asked again, after the two of them sat down on a long wooden chair, close to the garden lights.
