"So here Via fell? How did it happen, anyway?" ask Pandu when he has turned off the car engine right in front of the mini market, where Delvia suffered a disaster.
Nilam just nodded. He had no intention of explaining anything, for he did not know.
"Thank you, take me here" said the girl as she unfastened her seatbelt.
"Where are you going, Lam? Let me take you."
"No, maass. We'd better take it back, keep Delvia in the hospital." Nilam rushed down. He wanted to arrive at the boarding house immediately, and immediately rest.
"Lam, wait." Nilam, who had come down from the car, was forced to stop his steps, when Pandu again called his name.
"Lam, can't we be friends like we used to? Like when you and I have never been in a relationship?" ask the man expectantly.
Nilam was confused as to what to answer. It's okay to be friends with anyone. His parents always taught him to make friends wherever he was. But with Pandu, he did not want to get too close. He doesn't want any misunderstandings, which will make the business go long.
"Why should you look for another woman, to make her a friend? There is Delvia who has chosen to be a friend. Is not enough of him? Do not repeat the same mistake. Don't hurt anyone who faithfully accompanies you, just because of your selfishness."
"Why did you refuse? Are you afraid of falling for me again?" Pandu was upset, because his good intentions were rejected by Nilam. He did not intend to approach the girl again. He just wants to be friends. Purely friends.
Nilam smiled faintly.
"I'm not one to easily come and go from someone's life. If I have chosen, it means that I am confident in my choice, and will not be tempted by anything. I am not afraid of being tempted just because of an ex, who once betrayed me. I refused, for to me, it was enough of my partner that I made friends in every way. I don't need another man, as my confiding friend."
Nilam then left Pandu, to his motorbike which is still parked at the end of the minimarket building.
He was wearing a helmet and without permission put his iron horse in front of Pandu.
There are still many vehicles passing by, even though it is still dark. Making Nilam feel safe across the highway, towards his boarding house which is not too far from that place.
His mind wandered far away. Either because of Pandu's words that make him upset, or drowsiness and fatigue that increasingly attack him, so that the girl almost hit an electric pole near the alley to his boarding house.
"Woe! Be carefull! Don't take a motorbike if you're drunk!" shouted a driver pick up from behind, making the girl even more inflamed. But as much as possible he refrained, so as not to reply to the man's words.
Nilam took a breath repeatedly to calm his mind, and his trembling body, before propelling his motor back.

The sound of the door opening from the outside, woke Amanda from her deep sleep. The tomboyish girl immediately got up, and prepared to attack.
But at last he sighed in relief, as the lights of his room lit up and saw Nilam who came in that blind morning.
"The vultures that open the doors of the mallem." its mouthpiece justifies the blanket.
But not yet perfectly lying down, the girl got up again when she realized something.
"Good, Lam! You just got home? Where is aja from?"
Amanda got up to check on her best friend who looked tired with a messy body condition.
Nilam hit Amanda's cheek in annoyance.
"Anyway by the way. The mouth has no filter at all!" upset the girl, passed leaving Amanda for the bathroom.
Amanda's eyes were wide open. The sleepiness went away somewhere.
"Where are you from? How new come dateng? It doesn't exist, it doesn't work." demanded Amanda again, go to the bathroom.
"Let's tell me, yeah, I sleepy bngeeet. Go to sleep first" Nilam said.
Amanda didn't ask any more questions. He kept his curiosity, while coming back up to the bed.
"But you're okay, Lam?" ask the girl to make sure.
"Hmm, that's okay" Nilam said in a weak voice between conscious and not.
Amanda could only look at her best friend, worriedly. But he understood, it was not the time to force Nilam to tell a story.
Shakes the phone under his pillow, surprising the girl.
"Who the hell, calling these nights?" his mouth was looking for his flat object, which turned out to be inside a pillowcase.
There was the name Baskara there, making him hesitant to take the call.
"Why did Mas Bas call me this malem? Did he know Nilam just came home? I have to answer what donk, this?" his murmur cradled the mobile phone that returned to vibrate.
He had to take a call from across the street.
"Hallooo," he said, pretending to resist sleepiness.
"Nda, Nilam's at the boarding house? Who's he coming home to?"
Precisely guessed, Bas knew that Nilam was running late until midnight.
"Hmmm, why the bus?"
"Nilam has been at the boarding house yet? Don't pretend you are! Don't have your tricks on me!" baskara's voice rose an octave making Amanda also ignited emotions.
"Yeee, who's pretending? Nilam is at the kost! Keep patting him!" Amanda no longer pretends, her acting Baskara already knows.
"Where exactly is he going? Why did the clock arrive at the boarding house?"
"Where do I know? Ask the same person directly. Shall I wake up? Instead, have a girlfriend tuh be careful not to be upset mulu! Another guy, just found out!"
"Don't be so reckless! Yes, no, don't build it. I'll call him." The phone connection was cut off before Amanda could answer.
"Basic! If you want someone!" upset Amanda, put her phone back under the pillow. Then he returned to lay down his body, preparing to knit a dream that had been disturbed.
