Baruna PoVs
I stepped inside the lobby of Kusuma Corp's office while glancing at my watch which had already shown at two in the afternoon. Sitting on the lobby couch waiting for Sheryl to get out of the elevator. We promised to go watch the inter-student basketball championship at Wisley International School.
Not long after, I saw him coming out of the elevator. He waved his hand towards me with a smile.
"It's been a while, baby?" tanyakanya.
"just now. Let's go!" invite me while thrusting an arm so that he can hold my hand.
Sheryl took my hand, and we walked out of the lobby to the car park.
The atmosphere of the highway on Wednesday is not too crowded. There were only a few cars that passed by. Naturally, because it is not time to go home from work.
"What time is it, baby?" my many.
"Half three, he said" Sheryl replied.
"Oh .... How's your job today at the office?" I looked at him for a moment.
He did not immediately reply, paused for a moment, then said, "It's normal. Nothing special."
"It's good that there are no obstacles."
"Some thing I want to ask you." Suddenly Sheryl said something that seemed serious.
"What?"
"Do you know that Mr. Reynand is approaching me?" tanyakanya.
"Know. From yesterday, I told you she likes you. Frankly said that to me. He must have approached you automatically. Is there anything I don't know about you and her?"
Sheryl took a deep breath, setting it up until she was ready to speak.
"I met him a few times. He also gave me something."
"So, you're gonna tell me that you met him behind my back, is that it?" my snoring while smiling grinned, feeling played with.
"I'm sorry I just talked about this. She also met me at the office, baby."
I gripped the steering wheel with a feeling of annoyance. Slam it on the shoulder of the road. Stop over.
I looked towards him. His face was down, feeling guilty. Immediately, I opened the seat belt of the steering wheel and hugged her.
I let out an increasingly irregular breath holding in anger. My fiancee just admitted to something that surprised me.
"What is less than me and what is there for him?" I kissed the top of his head.
"none. You're too perfect for me. If you ask like that, I feel smaller in front of you, baby."
"I'm not perfect, baby. Don't let me down. I just want you. I don't know why, I'm afraid if your heart turns to him. Your doubts are my weakness. If you knew what it's like to be me right now, you wouldn't want it."
"I'm sorry. I am saying this because I am also afraid of the things that you are also afraid of. How can I manage my own feelings if we meet often?"
"Later I'll talk to him."
"I beg you not to have any more violence between you. I don't like."
I didn't answer his words.
Fucking reynand! Turns out he got close to Sheryl behind me first. Even I am very confident that my fiance will be strong to deal with it, in fact not as hard as a rock in the ocean. From his words, I can judge immediately. He seemed to doubt his own feelings now.
"Why are you quiet, baby?"
"Let's continue our journey. Khanza must have been waiting. You don't have to be afraid, I know what I'm doing" I replied.
Sheryl was stunned to look at me. The look on his face was getting unpleasant but I immediately melted the atmosphere. I held out my hand ruffling her hair with anxiety. Then he smiled and started laughing a little.
We immediately continued our journey towards the championship venue. My mind floated in the face of reality the more secrets I kept.
The time had already shown at half past three in the afternoon when we arrived at Wisley International Scholl. The parking lot is already full of invited guests who want to watch the championship. I saw a pair of people I knew walking away from each other. The man walked far away from his woman. They are Reynand and Kayla.
Just look at his style! Already have a girlfriend but still approaching someone else's fiancee.
Sheryl who saw the scene in front of us just fell silent. He did not comment anything. I immediately clasped his hands tightly, trying to make him comfortable to be near me in any situation.
The atmosphere of the stadium was bustling with cheers from each supporter of the championship participants. We immediately looked around at the bleachers looking for Khanza. Not long after, Sheryl then pulled my hand. He had already found Khanza sitting in the second row, sitting together with the students from the other schools beside him. I noticed the familiar face of the student.
"Khanza, sorry Brother is a little late. Just finished the meeting" Sheryl said apologetically.
"Iya Khanza, Brother also likes to watch basketball games. Counting considering the past school days. Brother is also good at playing basketball," I said while chuckling.
"Ih .. what the hell, baby." Sheryl elbowed my stomach softly. I still chuckle at his attitude.
We sat down next to Khanza and the boy. If I don't remember wrongly, her name is Ruby. I had a birthday cake at his store two weeks ago.
I poked Sheryl on the shoulder, and she looked at me, "What's wrong?"
"Can you ask Khanza, what is the name of the teenage girl next to him, Ruby?"
Sheryl frowned, then said, "Don't tell me you have something with her?"
"No, but his face was familiar. I once bought a birthday cake for you in his shop."
"really?"
I'm patting. Sheryl immediately asked Khanza and he answered with a nod. My fiancee immediately turned towards me assuring.
"That means my eyes and brain are still healthy to remember. You too, keep your eyes, brain, and heart just for me" I said as I poked his nose.
Sheryl was silent again. My insinuations may be on target. I'm more and more sure there's something wrong with him. Not wanting to prolong the problem, I immediately kissed her cheek. He was shocked and hit me on the shoulder slowly. I also chuckled at him.
I circled my eyes looking from a distance, looking at my friend Dirga Mahesa Wijaya and his wife Kiara sitting watching the game. Nicholas Geonandes owns the GN Corporation. It seems like the two of them are donors to this championship.
The match was played between team Shadow and team Devil Bat Ghost. There was cheers echoing the name "Ken" from around my seat. Most of the students were shouting their names. Maybe Ken is a school idol. But the loudest thing was the voice of the woman from behind my seat. I suddenly looked back, finding Kayla who was coolly shouting the name "Ken. Reynand was busy playing her phone looking uninspired.
"Ken! Go Ken! Brother support you!" kayla shouted excitedly.
I immediately turned my eyes to focus back on the match. Suddenly my phone rang. Mother called. I poked Sheryl's shoulder.
"I got the phone first."
Sheryl nodded. I got up from my seat and walked out. The sound inside the stadium was very loud.
"Hello, Bun. What's up?"
"Can you come to the hospital now?"
"What's up, Bun?"
"Your grandfather wants to see you now. His condition is not good. You can't come here right away?" Mother's voice sounded raucous. She cried.
"Yes, Bun. I'll be there soon." Without further ado I immediately hung up the phone while walking quickly back to the stadium.
"Darling, let's go to the hospital. Grandpa's condition is not good." I immediately pulled his hand. He stood up stunned to see me.
"Khanza, my dear brother, yes" said Sheryl to Khanza.
"You guys be careful on the road" Khanza said.
"Yes, Khanza," he responded in my footsteps.
Sheryl offset my hurried steps. I saw Reynand observing us coming out of the stadium. She and Kayla followed us both.
Sheryl and I rushed into the car and started the engine. Reynand knocked on my car door. Immediately, I lowered the power window.
"Where are you going in such a hurry?"
"Hospital. Grandpa's situation is not good" I replied.
I immediately propelled my vehicle. It was driven at almost maximum speed. Reynand and Kayla just stared at our departure from afar.
I held my head up for a moment. Resisting tears that soon may fall flooding both cheeks.
Grandpa, not now. I beg!
