S2 Patience

Reynand PoVs

At 07:00

I got out the car door. Stroll gallantly towards the main door of the house of Ashraf. This morning I came to prove firsthand that Sheryl spent the night.

I pushed the bell many times. The door is open. Bi Rindang raised his head to look at me.

"Dad is there, Bi?" my many.

"One time Mas Reynand came. Mr. Anton will have breakfast in the dining room" Bi Rindang replied.

I also stepped inside. My steps stopped in front of the dining room. Looking at Anton's father, Aunt Meri, Baruna, and Sheryl were sitting down to enjoy breakfast.

He did spend the night here.

"Good morning, everybody!" my broom with a smile.

Everyone who was there looked over. I took a deep breath and threw it away. Immediately put your foot in.

"Good morning, Rey!" exclaimed Aunt Meri welcomed me. "Let's eat together" she asked.

"Morning, Rey! It so happens that you came. I rarely see you in the office. Were you very busy yesterday?" Anton's father said hello.

"Due, Dad." I grabbed the back of his hand shaking in turn with Aunt Meri.

"Sit. We're just gonna have breakfast." Aunt Meri invited me to sit down.

I pulled out a chair and sat my body directly opposite Baruna. He looked at my face with sharp eyes.

"Tumben came here early in the morning?" insinuations.

"I just want to see Dad" I said.

"Meet Dad, huh?" He gave a small meaningful smile.

"Here, don't fight early!" reprove Dad.

Dad's rebuke made us stop talking. Then start our breakfast. I blinked my eyes at Sheryl. The woman seemed to be chatting while occasionally laughing at her fiance.

She was so happy with Baruna. Did they just miss a fun night last night?

"Baruna, I heard from Mommy that you want to get married in two months?" Anton's father suddenly asked.

I turned to look at Dad in surprise. Two more months is a short time.

"Yes. That's what I want, Dad, but yesterday Doctor Mario advised me to hold off until my leg is completely healed."

I heaved a sigh of relief at Baruna's reply, for it was not willing for them to get married that quickly. If I can, I'll take Baruna's place. That's all I want right now.

"really. It's better if you focus on your treatment first, then we rearrange that plan." Anton's father's reply seemed to support me and made my smile expand instantly.

"Yes, Son. Patience yes. You guys are definitely getting married" added Aunt Meri with a smile.

Sheryl was silent at the conversation between the parent and the child. His face looked down as if he did not want to show the look of his face.

Perhaps he hasn't said everything that happened to Baruna.

I went back to enjoying my breakfast. My eyes sometimes look at him. However, he still lowered his head.

Half an hour later, they finished enjoying breakfast. Sheryl got up from her seat. He helped Baruna to stand up.

"Dad, Mommy, I'll take Sheryl home first, yeah." Baruna was very happy with both of her parents.

"Yes, Bar. Careful," said Dad.

"In the meantime, Mommy has something for Aunt Rini." Aunt Meri opened the refrigerator, took out a package, and gave it to Baruna.

"What is this, Bun?" tanyakanya.

"Chocolate cake for Aunt Rini and Om Agung."

"Thank you, Auntie," said Sheryl.

The two men then passed by leaving me, Aunt Meri, and Father Anton in the dining room. Anton's father looked at me.

You got something to talk about, Rey?" tanyakanya.

"Yes, Dad. I want to resign from the company."

The look on the faces of Father and Aunt Meri turned confused. They raised their eyebrows together.

"Why?" ask Anton's father.

"Mama is sick. Indira is pregnant. They can't control the company to the fullest" I explained. That's not my real reason. I'm more afraid that Dad's company will get carried away with my problems and Kayla if she carries out her plans at any time.

"You need to stay in the company, Rey. You see Baruna's condition also has not allowed her to return to work," refused Anton's father.

I'm speechless. The reasons given by my father make sense. I can't just resign looking at the condition of Asyraf's family and company.

"How's it?"

"Alright, I'll think back."

"You may resign when Baruna is ready for work. I'll loosen your job at the company. You can work in two places alternately in a week" said Anton's father.

"I'll do it" I replied.

"Rey, you're okay, right?" Aunt Meri suddenly asked me something I didn't understand.

"meaning?" my many.

I didn't answer. For that matter, I really can't grant it yet. I want to keep fighting for what I want.

Baruna PoVs

At exactly nine o'clock our car arrived at Sheryl's yard. Sheryl rushes to open the car door and helps me out with her.

On the terrace looks Om Agung is sitting relaxing with Aunt Rini. We also approached them.

Both of Sheryl's parents raised their heads looking at us who had just set foot.

"Sheryl, Baruna," Aunt Rini got up from her seat welcoming us.

"Tante, this is Mother's deposit." I gave a packet of chocolate cake to Aunt Rini.

"Thank you, Bar. Say hello to your mother's aunt."

"Yes, Auntie" I said, nodding. Aunt Rini goes inside immediately.

"Honey, I'm in first, yeah," Sheryl comes inside following Aunt Rini.

I'm nodding. Then sat my body next to Om Agung. Then he looked towards me.

"How are you doing, Bar?"

"It's better, Om," I replied.

"What's your wedding plan? When did you decide to get married?" tanya Om Agung's.

"I'm actually getting married in two months. But my doctor suggested we get married after I finish treatment."

"Yes, it's better if you're healthy again." Om Agung agreed with my words.

Not long after, Sheryl came out carrying two cups of coffee on her tray and put them on the table. I looked up at his face.

"Well, coffee made by the future wife must taste special," I said.

She smiled sweetly and turned her body about to go back in.  However, Om the Great forbade it.

"Baruna's company is here, son!" he sipped the black coffee. He then got up from his seat. "Om stay first, yeah."

"Yes, Om."

Sheryl was sitting next to me. He looked at me with his chin up. His chocolate tray was tightly hugged.

"What are you talking to Papa about?" tanyakanya.

"He asked about our wedding plans, honey."

"Oh .... How then?" tanyakanya.

"I'll follow Doctor Mario's advice. We'd better get married after I'm completely healed. So that we can be free if we want to go on a honeymoon anywhere."

"Yes" he answered.

I looked at his face with a big smile. So too with her sweet smile. I will try to be patient waiting for that day to come.

"Darling, I just saw my phone. Did you reply to Mr Reynand's message?" Suddenly Sheryl asked me what I was doing last night.

"Yes. You mind?"

"No. It's just, you didn't tell me that I didn't ask her," she replied, frowning.

"Is there anything I don't know?"

"No, Honey!" His answer was so straightforward that it made me believe him so much.

"Well, if it's like that. I'm saying goodbye, yeah. It feels like my feet are hurting constantly being used for activity."

After I said that, the look on his face turned worried. I held out my hand rubbing the top of his head.

"You don't have to worry. When I get home, I'll rest" I said.

Smile expands. He got up from his seat and said, "I'll call Mama and Papa first."

I'm nodding. He went inside, and I waited for him. I'm actually really worried that Reynand keeps texting her like that. However, I have to trust my own fiancee.

Not long after, Sheryl's parents both came out. I got up from my chair and said goodbye.

"Be careful when you get home. Tell Mr. Amri not to speed," said Aunt Rini.

"Yes, Auntie" I replied.

Om Agung only showed his faint smile. Both of his parents then went inside.

Without hesitation he hugged and kissed my forehead despite having to take pains to tiptoe to reach it.

"Be careful, honey. Let me know when I get there" he said, then drove me into the car.

"Yes" I answered from behind the window.

He waved his hand. I also returned it.

"Road, Sir!" my orders to Mr. Amri.

Mr. Amri started driving his car out of Sheryl's yard.
