Reynand Pov's
Day H wedding....
I seriously. Although I haven't discussed it with Mama and Sheryl, I was very serious about what I said to Baruna and Felicia at the time. After marriage, I planned to move abroad to build my business with the Diamond Smith Company that I had left behind.
London. I will return to that city and plan to build our little family there.
I turned towards the door of the hotel room when I heard someone knocking on it from outside. Farhan who was currently with me then turned around to open the door.
"Auntie is beautiful."
I turned my head, finding a beautiful looking Mama standing there.
"Thank you, Han. Where's my son?"
"There," pointed Farhan.
My mom stepped in too. I grabbed my wedding suit and put it on.
"Gue you two stay, Rey!" said Farhan who immediately rushed out.
"Yes, Far." I'm nodding. Mama is approaching. I turned to look my best in front of the mirror.
"Mama is ready?"
"How do you look?"
"Ehm, I think a woman always dresses up longer than a man," I said as I looked at the circular watch in hand. I'll be married to Sheryl in an hour.
Mama snorted and smiled revealing a little row of her teeth. "It doesn't seem to apply when compared to you, Rey. You always look dapper in your suit."
I poked softly at the opinion of Mama who really understood me even though we did not live under one roof.
"Everyone wants to show his best performance. Moreover, it's a very special day for me."
"Oh, okay." Mama nodded. He then helped me button up the brown suit I was wearing. I could feel her breathing blowing so heavily as if something was bothering her. "Do you really have to leave your mother alone in Jakarta?"
"Oh come on, Ma. We've talked about it."
"Yes, but wouldn't it be too much if you went to avoid the couple?"
"I have to make sure that no more danger will befall us. You know, family ties are inevitable. Even though I've only known Dad for a few years now, I feel like I'm forever going to be a part of his family. Unfortunately, it became a burden to me. Even by staying here I often feel anxious. Especially after Felicia's actions that night. He has a bad temper. I think Felicia will always have feelings of envy and envy for Sheryl."
"But he apologized to you. You also agreed to forgive him. Don't leave Mama, Rey. You're Mama's only son...." Mama looked at me with a sad look.
I look back at him pity. "Eitherway. I just wanted to leave that feeling behind by going to start our new life in a foreign country. Here, there is Dira who will accompany Mama. So you don't have to worry about that."
"The company needs you, Rey." My mom is still trying to stop me.
"I can work there or do it online." I answered him casually.
"It looks like you're really unshakeable" said Mama, finally giving in.
I clapped back, hugged Mama. "We'll visit often, Ma. Jakarta is my hometown. I don't know how long we'll feel at home there."
"You have to promise!"
Mom stretched out her little finger. I looked up at Mama's little finger that looked ready to look up. A way to tie promises like a child does not seem to be easily extinct until we are adults. Mama's gaze looked more and more clear. I nodded, then raised my finger. In a short time, we made that promise.
"What about Sheryl? Does he agree?"

Sheryl Pov's
Feast of. Party again. After Reynand's birthday party. One month later was our wedding. And now, I stood in front of the mirror, looking myself in a beautiful appearance with a white wedding dress attached to my body.
My heart keeps pounding, nervous. Today Reynand will officially be my husband. I'm very happy, but there's one thing that still keeps my heart aflutter and of course worry. Reynand's decision to leave brought me out of the country. We will stay abroad. I'm leaving my family, I don't know when.
"Sheryl, are you ready?" My mom suddenly showed up. I glanced at him from the mirror, then turned around.
"Here you go, Ma."
Mama smiled her smile, then took me to walk out of the room. Outside, I saw Papa waiting for us. He looked at me with astonishment.
"Princess Papa is so beautiful. If you weren't Papa's daughter, maybe Papa's in love" her god made me puckle. Mom pinched Papa's waist straight away.
"You don't tease him, honey. Even though it's her second marriage, you can see for yourself how nervous she is right now." Mama defended.
Papa swearing. He hugged me warmly. "Relax, Sheryl. Everything will go well."
"Yes, Pa. I know." I'm nodding. Papa raised both corners of his lips, then rubbed my shoulders slowly.
"If you're going to stay away from Papa and Mama, we'll always miss you, our dear daughter."
"Father..," I said slowly. Papa's words really make me feel sad as well as moved. At that very moment, I couldn't help but shed tears straight down my cheeks.
Mama wiped my tears immediately. Reminds me that today is our happy day. I can't cry even in front of my parents. One phase of repetition in life will return. But instead of returning with Baruna, I chose Reynand to be my last port.
Finally, Reynand and I tied our sacred promise in front of our families and religious leaders. We really were the center of attention. The past will never truly disappear. There are those who still talk about it, but we don't want to care about it anymore. Our feelings are ours. And we chose to be happy together starting today.
"Happy's wedding!"
"Goodbye to new life!"
"May you always be happy!"
"Good married!"
Various congratulations and sincere prayers from the invited guests became a boost of happiness for us. Especially seeing everything coming and having fun. No exception Baruna and Felicia who came to this party. They walked up to the bride's throne in the hotel's ballroom.
"Congratulations, yes." Baruna immediately hugged her half-brother.
"Thank you, Bar." Reynand smiled, looking very happy.
Baruna then glanced at me. Curving a thin smile line on his face. "You too, Sher. Happy wedding!" he said as he reached out, asking me to shake hands.
"Thank you, Mum." I nodded, returning her smile and greeting.
Baruna then passed. Replace Felicia who is standing in front of me. He looked at me with his sincere smile. He was silent for quite a while, before he suddenly pulled me in his arms. Before long, I heard her crying break. Hearing that cry, my heart suddenly thumped very fast. I'm afraid he's messing up our special event.
As if knowing my anxiety about the mad woman who almost killed me, Reynand suddenly grabbed my hand and held it tightly.
"Sheryl, I'm really sorry. Please forgive me. I want us to be as familiar as ever" Felicia said.
I took a deep breath, then threw it away slowly. Immediately unravel Felicia's embrace. Trying to stare warmly at the eyeballs that had challenged me hatefully.
"I've forgiven you, Fel. Yeah, hopefully we can get back to being as familiar as before."
