The Marriage Order

The Marriage Order
S3 Mother and Child

Looking at the boy, my gaze flashed, then circulated to all corners of the market. So crowded that it makes the head a little dizzy. Moreover, listening to her loud cries. The people there began to look at us.

I ducked down, trying to calm the little boy down. "Sweet sister, where's your mother?" askaku. However, as if he could not respond, the boy continued to cry. Her hand kept pulling the dress I was wearing.

"Mama! Mama!" Round after round of tears fell on his piercing cheeks. He's very sad.

I lifted his body, immediately carrying the boy. Slowly his crying subsided a little as he entered my sling.

You can too, Sher! my mind praised for stopping the cry of the little boy.

This boy must be missing from his mother. I started to walk around looking around. Search for market information centers. I breathed a sigh of relief when a long table with the inscription "Infomation Center" was seen there.

I sped up my steps, walking towards that information table. A woman of the same height and the same color of clothes stood on my back. It seemed like he was having a serious talk with the information officer.

Panicking, I approached them in a hurry. Sontak cut off the conversation between the two. "Excuse me! I want to make some report. I met a boy crying in the middle of the crowded market. I think he's lost from her mother."

The two people near me stopped talking. Both of them looked at me. The eyes of the woman wearing matching clothes with me were suddenly widened to see the little boy in my sling.

"Wafa?!" The woman raised her voice.

I was surprised to see it. He's Felicia. The woman who gave me allergy medicine a while ago.

Felicia hurriedly took Rafa in my sling. He turned his eyes to me from head to toe.

"You …." The woman's eyes narrowed.

"I'm Sheryl" I said as I reached out in front of her. However, he did not immediately welcome my hand. Seems suspicious of me.

Do I look like a child kidnapper? Hey, we've met, haven't we?

I grinned, adding my sentence, "Sorry, I accidentally met him in the middle of the market. The boy cried his mother's name."

"Oh …." Only that word came out of his mouth. Felicia welcomed my hand and we shook hands. "Thank you for taking her to the information center. I'm so afraid Rafa's gone. She left without me knowing. My son is my only treasure."

I nodded while smiling. "Yes, it's a good thing he didn't go far."

"Sorry, what's your name?" Felicia asked as she frowned.

"Sheryl," I said.

"Felic." He mentioned her name.

I cringed too. Looks like the woman in front of me forgot that we met in the hotel toilet. "Yes, I know. Did you forget? We met in the hotel restaurant's toilet."

"Oh, are you the allergic woman?" The woman narrowed her eyes watching me closely.

I was silent hearing it. She called herself an allergic woman. I don't know why I don't like the way he says it.

I quickly nodded my head, while Rafa who was in Felicia's arms looked at me and her mother took turns.

"What's up, son?" ask Felicia.

Rafa smilingly pointed at me, then turned his gaze to the Mother.

"The aunt looks like Mama" he said in a spoiled tone of voice.

Felicia pulled her face. "Oh, huh? What's similar?" tanyanya responded to Rafa's words.

"Same-sama is beautiful," she said as she smiled her smile. "Mama's clothes too."

I looked down at my clothes. The yellow color of the clothes I was wearing was the same as the yellow color worn by the woman named Felicia.

My face immediately flushed upon hearing the praise of a little boy. Smiling at him.

Felicia looked at me. He put a line of smiles on his face, then pointed it again at Rafa.

"All women are beautiful. Nothing is ugly. God created a complete woman with her advantages and disadvantages. You should never mock God's creation" Felicia's advice is so wise.

"Yes, Ma." Rafa nodded his head.

"Yes, Fel." I bow my head.

The mother and daughter pair left me alone standing in the information center. Staring until the backs of the two disappeared from sight.

I took a deep breath, instantly throwing it away. I remembered that my position was not much different from that little boy.

Haish! You're so careless, Sher!

I turned my body to face the information center officer. Asking him to make a call to Baruna over the loudspeaker.

"Ehm ..," I said opening the conversation, which immediately caused the officer to distract him.

"May I help you, Miss?"

"Ehm, I need your he–"

I haven't had time to say I mean, Baruna's voice suddenly sounded calling.

"Sheryls! Honey!"

I turned my eyes around. Search for sound sources. Baruna looked up to look at him with anxious face. He seemed to sigh in relief, walking towards me.

"Where have you been? I've been looking for you since." My husband hugged tightly.

"I'm sorry ..," I said.

Baruna took off her embrace. "Where's your phone? I've called you many times, but I didn't get picked up either." His forehead was staring at me.

"Staying in a hotel room" I said spoiled.

Baruna only pulled the corners of her lips together. A smile rose on his face. His arm immediately grabbed my shoulder, taking me away from the place. We also walked together along the streets of the market that is quite wide.

"This time I won't take you off for a second, because you're more careless than a child." Baruna smiled bitterly.

"Hey, I'm not like a kid. Earlier, I wanted to report to the information officer that I found a boy crying while pulling my clothes in the middle of the market" I said.

"Where is the boy?" baruna asked, "i didn't see it."

"Have met his mother. You know, it turns out that the mother of the child was the woman who gave me the allergy medicine the other day."

"Oh …." My priest just formed his lips to form the letter O.

"Oh only? You don't seem interested?" I raise my eyebrows.

"I didn't say it that way" he argued, "just didn't want to talk about it. I thought you were lost."

"Yes, okay. I'm confessing. Me and the little boy are both lost." I told him everything that happened.

Baruna chuckles. I gently rubbed my head. "That's what your husband says you should do. I guarantee you won't get lost. Can promise?"

"He-em, okay. If you still obey but still lost how?"

"Cannot be. I know how you are, dear." Baruna shook her head. My priest directly pointed to one of the shops selling souvenirs typical of Male city. "Come there!" bring him.

I nodded while developing a smile. "OKay! As you wish, Honey."

Baruna lowered her hand. He grabbed my wrist walking towards the shop in question. My precious day with him in this country.
