The Marriage Order
S3 I Must Know The Truth

Sheryl Pov's

After getting the keys to Felicia's room, I rushed towards Rafael's room. Immediately my steps stopped, standing not far from Mother who turned her back to me. He hugged Rafael, trying to calm the crying boy. Although the incident managed to provoke a little memory of me, the question that had passed I did not also meet the answer. However, I was relieved to see Rafael finally open the door of his room.

"What's up, honey? Why are you crying?" tanya Mommy looked at the little boy without realizing the existence of me standing behind him.

Rafael slowly stopped his crying. Although still a hiccup he tried to answer, "Pa .. Papa."

"What's your father, Rafa?"

I who was about to approach them instantly broke my intentions. Keep staring at both. Still in a hiccup, a lowered Rafael suddenly raised his face. We looked at each other for a moment. I put my index finger on my lips. He signaled not to comment.

"Papa, he's with someone else, not Mama" he replied honestly.

It seems Rafael is a smart kid. He didn't tell me where I was there. I don't have much to say to show you what I mean.

"You mean?" Mother wiped away the tears of Rafael who was still flowing.

"Yes, Grandma, the man said he was going to marry Papa. Then the host said that Papa had divorced Mama. What's divorce, Grandma?"

Mother did not answer directly. My heart rumbled waiting for my mother-in-law's answer. That news on television can't possibly lie, right? Moreover, the two people were interviewed to agree with everything.

"Rafa, getting divorced is another way to love each other. You don't have to be sad, son. Your father still loves you. So does your Mama, Baruna's Dad, Grandpa, Grandma, everyone loves you." Mother rubbed Rafael's head.

"If Aunt Sheryl?" rafael asked, directing his gaze at me.

What is that boy doing?

Both my eyeballs were full. All righty! I cancel my opinion of the clever Rafael. No one seems to want me to know anything secret in this house.

Mother looked back. For a moment I saw him gasp with tightened eye muscles, but before long he looked at me as usual.

"Well, Sheryl? Why didn't you tell me you were standing there?" Mother stood up.

I took a long breath. "It seems you are talking seriously. I don't want to be a bully" I replied.

"Nothing serious. Hows it? Found the keys?"

I reached out, gave the key even though I knew Mother was actually just making small talk.

"Whatever you heard earlier, don't take it seriously. Rafael is like this sometimes if he misses his father." Mother smiled meaningfully. And I'm getting more negative thinking seeing that smile.

"I-i"

"Grandmother, answer my question." Suddenly Rafael cut off my words.

"What, Honey?" Mother looked at Rafael.

"Tante Sheryl, does she love me too?" Raphael fixed his eyes on me.

"Tante Sheryl certainly loves you. Yeah, right, Auntie?" Mother raised her next to her eyebrows looking at me.

The deg!

Especially this? I wanted to say yes, but my heart rejected it. And I can only be between them.

"Sher?" mother said as if pressing me.

"Yeah. I love you too, Rafa," I said at last, though with a feeling that was not entirely sincere.

Time just passed by. It was late at night when Baruna and I left the hospital. I don't know what Baruna had in mind, suddenly invited me to dinner at a restaurant with a romantic atmosphere.

"Why did you suddenly bring me here?" I was curious when Baruna pulled up the chair and invited me to sit down.

"Dining. I feel like I haven't done anything like this in a long time. I want our relationship to improve. You heard it yourself, said the doctor, right? You can't push yourself to remember something even if you say you remember someone."

Baruna sat in her chair. We also sat facing. He looked at her with his usual gaze as if there was no worry in his heart.

"You look relaxed when I may remember someone who can make all your lies exposed" I said, grinning at him.

"What's lying, honey? About the incident? About Rafael's Papa?" He answered me with a question. Baruna did know what happened because I told her everything.

"Yes. Your whole family says that Papa Rafael is overseas running a business, but the truth is he's here. She has even divorced Fely and is now dating Kayla." I started asking Baruna. All my questions must be answered tonight.

Baruna seemed to be breathing so heavily. "We were just lying for Rafael. He can't know that his parents are separated. Imagine how mentally he would be destroyed if he found out. It just so happened that you asked in front of him. So Felicia had to make up a story."

"And his mentality is completely broken now because of you," I said.

Baruna nodded. "Yes, right. But it was Fely's choice. You don't have to think about it and think about it. Later I will also help him so that Rafa is not too sad."

"I just can't imagine what if I were in his position. Being lied to is the thing I hate the most."

"It has. Don't say the no-no. We just eat, yeah," he said, turning the conversation away when he saw a waiter bring us an order.

While we were enjoying dinner, the phone I accidentally put on the table shook several times. I glanced at. Reynand's name was seen there.

"What's he calling you?" asked Baruna who also glanced at my phone screen.

"Either" I answered flatly, but since this afternoon I was the first to contact him to ask about the truth of Rafael's story and his papa. Unfortunately, Reynand didn't answer me.

I walked back and forth on the porch, waiting impatiently for Sheryl and Baruna who had not yet returned from the hospital. How not? That afternoon, Sheryl called me a few times and I couldn't answer because I was so busy. When I called back, he didn't answer. They must not go home and instead spend time alone outside.

"You look very anxious."

Suddenly a woman's voice came out. I turned my head. Felicia seemed to be standing in the doorway with both hands folded across her chest.

"What are you doing here?" I told the woman it was so cold.

Felicia smiled slightly then sat down on the terrace chair. "You must be worried waiting for Sheryl."

"What business do you have to say that?" I answered and sat down in front of him. Felicia did not answer, she then poked, making me stupefied to her. "You should be ashamed to be here, Fel," I said.

"Don't that apply to you, too, huh?" Felicia pulled out half her smile as if she was replying to me.
