The Marriage Order

The Marriage Order
The Same Night

Baruna PoVs

The gurgling rain that fell sounded more and more subsided from behind the walls of my room. I lay myself on the bed. Staring at the beautiful carving of the ceiling of the room that was so quiet. Imagine you will soon inhabit this room with me. Right now, to breathe I'm tired. Continuously inhaling and exhaling irregular breaths from earlier. Unknowingly my tears flowed again.

Could I have a heart attack any minute? Otherwise, why would it hurt so much like a person who would die. Sheryl, didn't you just get here? Ten more days we'll be sitting at the aisle. See the guests coming. Why are you so brave to me? My love has been so sincere all this time. Only in a matter of not two months do you have feelings for others and the severity of him is my own brother. Do I have to keep giving up and understanding you?

I picked up a cell phone near me. Viewing wallpaper on the screen. A picture of me and Sheryl looking friendly at each other. I have missed you for a moment. I want to hear your beautiful voice soon. I subconsciously called you, but no dial tone was heard, your phone was dead.

Why is the phone dead?

I'll call Reza immediately. Worried about you not being contacted. Not long after Reza picked up his phone.

"Hello, Bar."

"Za, Sheryl's home yet?"

"Isn't it the same?"

"Ehm .. earlier he snagged and went home alone."

"He hasn't reached home yet. I'll try to call."

"If I could call him, I wouldn't call you."

"Why are you wearing a fight?" Reza clucked in annoyance.

"She's cut out the relationship, Za."

"Lost a few days and she broke up the relationship?! Crazy ... crazy .... What's the matter, Bar? What a shame on me! I'll talk to him."

"No, Za. Don't you need to interfere."

"Well, I can't do it donk. Patience, I'll definitely be back later."

"Yes, Za."

I turned off my call. Wiggling on the bed. Continuing to imagine Reynand kissing with Sheryl made my chest rumble as tight as to hold the hurt mind.

Wh-tok-tok!

The knocking of the door sounded. I was too lazy to wake up. Keep staring at some of the photos of her that I kept in the gallery folder.

"Come in! Not locked!" I shouted while wiping away the falling tears.

The door of the room opened, Mother popped her head and entered the room. I sat up to greet him. He sat next to me. His eyes were staring gently at me.

"Son, let's have dinner" he asked.

"It's not tasteful, Bun."

"What are you thinking? Your face looks sad. The bride-to-be can't be like this. Must always be happy."

"Am I really going to be a bride?" I asked to look back at him.

"Hush .. don't talk like that! Just made up yesterday. Time to fight again?"

"He left me, Bun."

"Shery?"

I nodded slowly.

"How can you?"

"He seems to like Reynand."

"No, no. There must be some misunderstanding here. Yesterday he told Mommy about his feelings that fear wavering on you. Mother has reminded me that you are the best."

"Reynand kissed her and Sheryl didn't tell me that. I should how? Say Bun?" I looked at Mother's face with sadness.

Mother hugged me. She whispered, "You have to stay married no matter what. Isn't it all written like that? Your name and name are already on the black ink of the covenant."

"Bun, why don't we just get rid of their debt? I have no burden to marry her. My love for her was sincere even though it was originally just your arrangement."

"In a business agreement it cannot be done. One cent has his calculations. You know that, don't you?"

"Yes. But it would be unfair if he and I had to experience this. I'm too scared to let him know because Reynand already knows."

"Reynand?" Mother was surprised to hear my words.

"What if you tell him before he hears it from someone else?"

I took a deep breath, looking at Mother's face that looked serious now.

Would it be okay if I said everything? How's the reaction?

"I will do it" I replied.

Mother nodded her head smiling. "You have to be sure of yourself. He'll understand. About that kiss, don't think about it. What happened, let it happen. In Sheryl's future yours."

"Thank you, Bun." I hugged my mother's body.

"Yes. Mother stay first. Don't forget to eat, yeah."

I nodded while smiling. After talking to her, my heart felt relieved. The anger and disappointment that was there seemed to go nowhere.

I get out of bed. Stand in front of the desk. Staring at a large paper bag of Sheryl's groceries on the table. He left without taking her. At that time I wanted to chase him. It brings out all the feelings that are in my heart.

Why would he so easily judge himself to be completely betraying our relationship, and I have not said yes to him completely and he left me instead?

I took out the contents of that big paper bag. There was a shirt suit and men's work pants as well as a pair of couple watches he bought. That's all! There was no personal item that he bought for himself even though I had entrusted my treasure to him.

Why is she still so sweet at a time like this? Makes me feel a little guilty about judging her who's been more involved with other people.

I snatched the paper bag. Wearing a jacket and taking the car keys walk quickly out of the room. I immediately drove my car to his residence. I miss him so much and can't wait to see him.

Half an hour later, I've arrived at Sheryl's yard. Reza opened the door for me. His face looked a little irritated when he met me.

"Sheryl, is she home yet?" my many.

"It has. It's in his room now."

I rushed towards her room, but Reza immediately pulled my hand. He shook his head.

"Don't bother first. It still seems emotional. I scolded him a little. He can't treat you like he wants to."

"Za, I said don't interfere. Why is she the same?"

"Gue can't be dong. You're the husband-to-be who's been set for her. It's good that he broke up!"

I took my breath in annoyance. Immediately walked towards his room and did not care about Reza blocking me. He's making me hard.

Wh-tok-tok!

I knocked on his room door. There's no answer. He did not open the door immediately either. I turned the door handle.

Chequek!

Not locked!

I stepped into his room. However, his room was empty uninhabited.

"The sher! Sheryl!" call me.

There is no lawfulness. Reza who followed me from behind came looking. I stepped to the front door of the bathroom. Door's locked.

"The sher! Sheryl!" call Reza and knock on the door but there is no answer.

What the hell's going on? Why didn't he answer?

"Bar, I'll take the spare key first huh. Lo wait here."

I'm nodding. Reza immediately exited the room retrieving a spare bathroom key.

"Sheryls! Sweetheart! Open door! I'm not mad at you anymore! I love you, baby!" I kept screaming. Negative thoughts began to enter my mind.

What the hell is he doing? What if he faints? What if he's reckless?

I shake my head hard. Immediately dismissed the negative thoughts that dropped by in my brain. Not long after Reza came and opened the bathroom door.

The twenty-square-meter bathroom was silent with no sign of life. I followed Reza into the back of the separation wall, where there was a bathtub where he used to soak. Sheryl was there. He lifted his head while leaning against the small pond. We also doubt.

"Sher ..." call me shrewd.

No answer from him. Negative thoughts immediately surrounded me. I rushed over to the woman so frantically still calling her name. Unfortunately, no answer came out of his mouth. His face was deathly pale, his eyes were closed and my God, he was unconscious.
