The Marriage Order

The Marriage Order
S3 Felicia Plan

Felicia POV

I heard the doorbell of the apartment keep ringing. Time and time again and sounds impatient. Meanwhile, I was in Rafael's room. Hugging my little angel asleep. He has been calling me impatiently since.

Just natural! Who can stand chronic disease? Even adults cannot withstand the trials that God gives. Me included. Hearing the doctor's diagnosis of his illness made me feel like I was struck by a powerful bolt of lightning. Like wanting to feel but not being able to. Rafael had to endure the pain all over his body and was only able to fall asleep while I was beside him, hugging him warmly.

The bell kept ringing, forcing me to get out of bed. For a moment, I turned towards him and my breath felt stifled. I gave birth to her and I know how she is. The helpless little boy.

My steps are a little rushed. I opened the door impatiently like the guest who did not know the time to come in broad daylight. A strong man stood there. Dressing up looking at me with a serious look. He's my man.

"Mom Fely, I came to say something interesting" he said.

I took a deep breath, then turned my body walking towards the living room. "Sir Ridwan, if you bring news that doesn't interest me better you get out of here. My son is sick and needs me right now."

"It's about Baruna's wife. I'm sure she's having an affair and has feelings for another man."

Ridwan's words made me stop my steps, then turn over automatically. The man's face looked seriously staring.

"Other guy? You mean his stepbrother? Reynand?" I started to guess.

"Yes! Like my recent camera haul and six months ago. They never change. Even this time kissing in the public area," he replied.

I swallowed a few times. This man in front of me has indeed long been ordered to observe everything that happened to Baruna and the people around him.

I was quite upset when I found out the man I liked was being cheated on. I also did not get out of thought with the way Baruna who received the woman's former half-sister.

Me and Mr. Ridwan both flinch. I have not offered my guest a seat. But I was even pensive myself.

"Mom Fely?! Miss Fely?!" The heavy voice of the man was heard calling.

"Huh-yes?" I answered his call a little.

"You daydreaming?" ask the man again.

"I'm sorry, sir," I replied, then flashed a glance toward the sofa. "Sit down, sir!"

Mr. Ridwan nodded. We sat on the sofa facing each other.

"Does this news need to be raised again like before?" ask Mr. Ridwan while showing some photos that make me more sure that both still have feelings of liking. Mr. Ridwan looks satisfied to report his work. Looks like he's pretty happy with his camera catch this afternoon.

I shook my head slowly. "No need, sir. Just give me the memory card" I replied.

Mr. Ridwan frowned. Maybe he was confused by my unusual attitude. Like yesterday, I kept telling him to raise the news of the gossip going on between them.

Seeing the pain, I immediately closed our conversation. "This time I will act in my own way."

Mr. Ridwan nodded obediently. He took his camera memory card and gave it to me.

"Any more, Miss Fely?" ask Mr. Ridwan who is waiting for my next order.

"Keep monitoring. I wait for the continuation," concluded I who immediately answered the nod of his obedience.

Three o'clock in the afternoon ....

I just got out of the meeting room. This close discussion makes me pull a little. Father and Aunt Aina planned to unite their company without asking for approval on this matter to me first.

I know nothing is impossible, but our company is a family company. Aunt Aina had her own family and she acted as if her family would just agree. Though wealth and wealth do not know the word brother.

Mr. Wicak who was walking behind me was silent. He did not dare to greet or interrupt me since he was inside the meeting room.

I took a deep breath as I arrived inside my work space. My steps stopped seeing Sheryl was already there. Lying his body on the long sofa while closing his eyes with his smooth arms. Without turning back, Mr. Wicak immediately understood my body language.

"Then, I'll go back to my room."

"Yes. Come back busy," I said gently exorcising.

The door of the room sounded closed. Instantly, I continued walking towards my exhausted-looking wife.

"Darling, you didn't say you came to the office?" ask me with a soft tone. He rubbed his fragile-looking head.

"You didn't answer my phone" he replied without pulling an arm from his face.

I groped into a suit. Take my phone from behind it. There was no other call from him other than a call at lunchtime that was missed.

"Sorry, I was having lunch with Dad and Aunt Aina. There's an important meeting together."

"I knew. One of your employees said it, "he answered briefly without raising his arm.

"You don't want to look at me, honey?" I started to tease. Smacking her dry lips looked dehydrated. Sheryl immediately raised her arm and straightened her body. Her eyes look watery looking at me. I panicked to see him. "What's up, honey?"

"My phone ... my phone ...," he said intermittently.

"Oh yeah, your phone's lagging behind, isn't it?" I remember when Reynand answered my call when I called my own wife.

"How do you know?" Sheryl's forehead shriveled.

"So I called back and Rey picked up. I didn't know you guys had lunch together. There's gotta be a project you're working on" I guess but Sheryl just kept quiet didn't answer. I don't know what he's thinking. "I told him to keep your phone and I'll get it after work" I continued and Sheryl nodded her head.

I exhaled a heavy breath. Immediately rise from the seat towards the small table located in the corner of the room. I poured her a glass of water.

"Darling, aren't you angry?" Sheryl's voice asked.

"Anged for what?" I asked back and then sat down next to him again. He grabbed the glass I offered and immediately drank it. His stomach suddenly sounded tight. I pulled my chin confused to hear it. "You haven't eaten yet?"

Sheryl shook her head weakly. I subconsciously glared at him and said in a high tone, "Gosh! Don't you feel sorry for our son?!"

Instead of answering, Sheryl scowled. His forehead also puckered. Suddenly her tears fell. Within seconds my wife was crying in front of me. Looks very sad.

------------

Hi loyal reader MO. I'm sorry that I rarely update this. I'm in a lot of work and my brother is chronically ill. Whether appropriate or not, but I beg his prayer for the recovery of my brother so that immediately removed his disease and healthy body. May the one who can pray be given a multiplied reward. Amyn.
