S3 Me and Reynand

I don't know what made me decide to tell Reynand my heart right now. As if there was lightning striking, I wanted to die when I heard it. Nah! Not just that moment. To this day, my desire has not changed. I can't take it. Baruna and I were married not long ago. Why face a problem like this?

I saw a confused Reynand watching me cry. These tears have been held up since. Really am! The whole family can't have anyone knowing about our problems. I am afraid to be a burden to them.

"Sorry! Sorry for yelling at you" Reynand said suddenly. His face looks panicked.

Instead of stopping crying, hearing her words made me tear up even more. He doesn't know how I feel right now. Regardless of me watching Felicia kiss my husband, it was even more shocking to learn that they had a child.

Raphael …. Our meeting was not intentional. Both were in the Maldives and she accidentally called me "Mama" when separated from her birth mother.

Is this destiny?

My back warms. Instantly I glanced. Reynand unhesitatingly placed his palm there. He then held it tight.

"Hey, hey, relax! Why do you keep crying? Tell me everything" he said with a face that still looked panicked.

I shook my head slowly. I don't want Reynand to know who Rafael is or he'll go crazy about his sometimes reckless actions. Besides, Baruna is my husband. I don't want what happened in the hospital the other day to happen again.

A moment later, I saw Mama enter the room. Reynand quickly removed her hand from the back of my hand. I don't know! I'm not sure if Mama saw this guy's act.

Not only Mama, from behind him came a woman I knew.

"Sher, look who's visiting you" said Mama with a line of her smile.

"Kaila?" I said I don't believe. It's a coincidence that he's here.

Kayla did not reply directly. His eyes seemed to be twitching towards Reynand for a moment. I don't know what she had in mind saw the two of us in the room. A second later, Kayla set her sights on me.

"Sher, how are you?" the questioner immediately walked up to me, then as usual kissed the right and left cheeks.

I should just keep lying back to him as best I can. If it wasn't the doctor who told me to keep lying down, I might have welcomed him better.

"Sorry, Kay," I said.

"It's okay. Just lie down" he said, and stood beside me.

"Sit here, Kay." Reynand suddenly stood up giving her seat.

"No need. I won't be long. It just so happened that I met Sheryl's mom downstairs. He said Sheryl's having contractions, so I'll just come here."

"Thank you, Kay," I said, lifting both corners of my lips thinly, "who's sick, Kay?"

"Manager. Last night was treated and I was able to see her this morning." Kayla smiled and looked around the room. As if to insinuate her, Kayla directed her sharp look at Reynand, "It's a pity that Baruna isn't here. Yeah, isn't it, Rey?"

Not yet Reynand said, Mama suddenly answered Kayla's words, "Baruna is still abroad, but she promised to come as soon as possible, son Kay."

Mama smiled at them and handed me a cell phone from her hand.

"Thank you, Ma." I grabbed it, then put it on the nightstand without peeking at it in the least.

"Oh." Kayla nodded.

"Sher, I'm back at the office, huh? If there's anything you need, you can call me." Reynand suddenly nodded. Maybe he felt lost for being here so early in the morning.

"Thank you for coming" I said.

"It should be, right?" Reynand raised next to his eyebrows. Not answering his words, I only gave a bitter smile in return.

I'm nodding. Reynand and Kayla then say goodbye to Mama. Not long after that, the two went together.

After seeing the two disappear from behind the door, Mama immediately sat down beside me.

"Sher, it looks like Reynand still has feelings for you. Don't tell me you're playing behind Baruna." Suddenly my mother said with a serious look on her face.

"No, Ma. Don't accuse the no-no. We don't have that kind of relationship" I said a little annoyed.

"Mom saw him clutching your hand."

"I told you there's nothing special between us" I said.

"Hopefully that's what happened between you," Mama said, then paused and said, "Remember! You've chosen. Whatever happens to your household and Baruna, Mama hopes you can finish it well."

I flinch while speaking in my heart. If only Mama knew ....

No one really knows how our home is. Even Reynand .... He only knows about Baruna and Felicia's relationship, but not about Rafael. Then about me and Reynand .. indeed he had clearly confessed his feelings, but I did not respond to him. We're just friends.

"Baruna called. He asked how you were." Mom diverts the conversation.

"Tell him I'm okay."

"How can you say that, when you almost lost your baby?"

After long enough bending my face in front of Mama, I pulled half my smile. "I don't want to worry him. He was busy enough to be there. Anton's father and ...."

I hung up my words, while Mama looked at me with her globular eyes, waiting for an explanation.

"And what?" mama asked, but I couldn't answer.

Reynand Pov's

I walked with quick steps towards the hospital lobby. Even though I had walked together, Kayla had left far back there.

What's he insinuating for, huh?

"Rey, wait for me!" Kayla's voice came closer.

I snorted and stopped walking. I immediately turned my body and waited for him.

"Rey, are you upset with me?" ask him with a sinless face.

I grinned in front of him. "You think?"

"You're upset. So you just left me!"

"You came here yourself. Should we go home together?" I say spicy.

"No. I don't mean it. As a good man, at least you drove me to the front of the lobby" Kayla said with the same face. We both feel upset at the moment.

"Unfortunately, I'm not a good man. You know that to insinuate me like that. Yep! Admit it! I did come specifically to see Sheryl this morning. And I'm so happy that there's no Baruna there. You don't have to insinuate me like that."

Kayla snorted and then grinned obliquely. The woman shook her head. "You're really crazy! Sheryl's pregnant! He won't look at you."

"Even if it's like that, I'll make him look at me!" I said with a high voice. No matter how many people in the lobby turned their eyes towards us.
