S3 I'll Go, Rey!

Reynand Pov's

Whistling. Yep. That's what I've been doing since I got out of the car tonight. No matter how tired it is today, my heart continues to pound happily.

"It looks like something good just happened." Mom's voice was heard stopping my steps as I crossed the living room.

When I look up. He found himself standing with both hands folded on his chest. "Yes, Ma. It's like that" I replied, smiling at her, "why hasn't Mama slept?"

"Waiting for you, of course. How come you haven't reached Jakarta yet when your plane has arrived since ten p.m?" Mama quipped, but I know what's in her head.

"So I went to see Sheryl first." I say briefly. Hearing that name, the look on Mama's face instantly turned cold.

"Oh... He doesn't reject you anymore?" Mama raised next to an underrated eyebrow. A half-smile was immediately plugged into his face.

I don't care about that look of underestimation. I immediately returned the mother with the same smile. "He has been mine. Sheryl accepted me, Ma."

Mama didn't say. Suddenly he was stunned and muttered in an almost inaudible voice, "It's no wonder he broke his promise."

"Promise? What promise, Ma?" My forehead shrinks. Even though it was very slow, I could hear that word. Mom's face turned nervous. Suddenly he shuts his mouth.

"Nothing." Mama avoided her statement.

"There's no how? Obviously I heard Mama say Sheryl broke her promise!" I sniffed in annoyance. But Mama shook her head, and not a word came out of her mouth. We were both silent for a while until I finally took a heavy breath, "I've done what Mama wanted. For a month I never went home, focused on the London project. Mama also knows for herself how Sheryl tried to avoid me. Mama knew it was the hardest days for me, and of course for her as well."

"Rey, Mama just wants you to forget her! She doesn't deserve to be with you."

I'm upset I don't want to respond to Mama's words any longer. The atmosphere of my heart is very good tonight it feels evaporating quickly because of my own mother. My footsteps stomped away from in front of him.

"Rey! Oi! Back back! You dare to ignore your own mother?!" Mama's voice led me into the room to make me slam the door hard enough.

I closed for a moment. I don't think we'll ever fit in. Until any moment, Mama won't give her blessing to me and Sheryl.

I took a deep breath, then pulled out my phone. Type a message for Sheryl.

The kling!

[I've reached home. Have you slept?]

I heard the message notification sound. My gaze immediately glanced at the phone I put on the bed. Chat message from Reynand.

Should I repay him? No. gabe. Just leave it like this.

Ignored him. After cleaning up all the items that I want to carry, I can't deny my heart is very restless. In a matter of hours I will truly be the most evil woman in the world.

I'll leave Reynand after giving her hope as high as the sky. If I could choose, I wouldn't want to part like this. Unfortunately I can't. Want to not, I have to do it.

The kling!

A message from Reynand came back in.

[You know? I couldn't sleep because I kept thinking about you. I am really very happy tonight. Sorry for sending you such exaggerated words. I just want you to know the whole feeling of being held back a long time ago.]

My heartbeat became more and more when I peeked at the chat message. But I hurriedly kept the thing close to me and rested.

At six o'clock in the morning, I arrived at the airport. Mama and Papa drove me to the overseas departure terminal. I'm going far away from this country. I don't know for how long. For sure, I should stay away from Reynand.

Mama and Papa looked at me with forced smiles on their faces. I-i understand. Anyone wouldn't want to take his child off in this way. However, this was the only way I could think of Reynand giving up and we were no longer in touch, because I knew he would always insist even if I refused.

I smiled wryly back at Papa and Mama. My parents hugged me in turns before letting me go.

"Yes, Honey. Your decision is right to leave. You need to stay away from Rey" Mama added.

I pulled a thin lip line. "I'm going Ma, Pa."

Both my parents nodded back. Immediately, I turned around and slowly walked away from the two.

You'll find your other happiness, Sheryl. Although not with Reynand, you know this is the fairest decision. After all you have promised Aunt Aina to leave her son. In addition, you also have to accept that your parents do not want Reynand to be your companion.

I tried to comfort myself in my heart. Walk to the departure lounge.

My phone's beeping. I grabbed my phone. Reynand called. Long enough to look at the name until the ringing ended without an answer. Suddenly my tears just flowed.

"Hello, Rey," I said in a slightly hoarse voice.

"Yes, I'm awake" I said, then paused for a moment. Thinking about how to end this relationship, "you alone? Did you sleep well?"

"Well, good enough to sleep for two hours."

"Why just two hours?" I frowned at me.

"Because you sent an unusual heartbeat from afar."

Hearing his words made me smile and then slowly. "Stop combing. It's still morning, Rey."

"I'm glad I could make you laugh, Sher. Ah, I missed you. How about I pick you up at ten? We go on a date" Reynand said suddenly.

I didn't answer right away. My head's still looking for a way to dump him.

"You mind?" Reynand suddenly asked again.

I snorted down for a while. Slowly take a deep breath, then throw it away.

"Rey, I've been thinking about it all night. I don't think our relationship will work."

"You mean?"

"Yes. We'd better live each other's lives."

"No, Sheryl! You must be pranking me, right?"

"I'm serious."

"No! No Sheryl. Don't tell me you want to dump me! I won't take it!" Reynand's voice turned frantic, "we should talk about this. You can't make decisions unilaterally! I'm going to your house."

"No, Rey. Can't do. I'm not home now." I suddenly blinked my eyes, squeezing the tears that were flowing. My hoarse voice sounded more and more.

"Haish! Why are you like this? You changed in no time. It must be my mama, right?"

My breath was restrained hearing his guess. He's not entirely right.

It's not just your mom, Rey. My mom and dad were against it too. I wanted to scream like that, but my voice was blocked and I couldn't get out.

"Whatever the reason, this is all wrong. Which we are going wrong. I shouldn't have welcomed your kiss last night. I should have rejected you...."

I hung my speech when I heard a loud mic car call calling the passengers of my departure plane. My gaze suddenly circulated. People got up from their seats.

"Sheryl, where are you going? Don't tell me you're going away from me again...."

Reynand's voice turned raucous. Maybe he realized where I was now. Unable to respond to his words anymore, I immediately disconnected the phone.
