The Marriage Order

The Marriage Order
The Same Time

I opened my eyes, shocked. Spread my eyes around for a moment. I was on the bed in a large room. There are no air vents and windows between the walls.

I glanced at my body, work clothes still clinging perfectly. I was afraid to realize that I was alone here.

Where am I?

Only silence I felt. The sound of the clock ticking in the room was not able to help me get rid of the feeling of fear. I raised my head to look at the wall clock that was already showing at seven. Either seven in the morning or seven in the evening.

My cellphone? I need to call someone.

That flat object was not around me, not even the bags and luggage were there.

What were these guys doing to me?

Chequek!

The door to the room is open. A middle-aged woman carried a tray in her hand then placed it on the table.

"Auntie, where is this?" my many.

The woman just kept quiet and didn't answer and left me. I caught up with him but the door to the room was locked tightly by him.

I saw the tray he put on the table. A plate of rice along with side dishes and drinks as my food.

Oh my God, where am I really? I need to get home soon.

The fear that began to infiltrate into my brain suddenly made my tears melt instantly. Unconsciously, my tears fell.

I put my foot in the apartment. Time has shown at nine o'clock. Today was exhausting.

I just attended a dinner as a farewell organized by the employees to let me go back home tomorrow morning. That dinner made me a little drunk with alcohol.

Drrt .. drrt .. drrt ....

I grabbed my phone from my pocket. Glancing at the name of the phone caller. Mr. Wicak's name appears on the screen. I immediately answered the call on the phone.

"Hello Sir."

"Hello Mas's. Am I interrupting the break, Mas?"

"No. What's the news?"

"Regarding the agreement I've found information."

"really?"

"Yes. Sheryl's mother became a guarantor of her own family's debt."

"meaning?"

"Five years ago his family's company almost went bankrupt. Mas's family helped them rise from the brink. But there's a ludicrous condition there."

"How ridiculous, sir?"

"Pak Awan will help Kusuma Corp. as long as they want to marry his daughter, Ms. Sheryl and Mas Baruna, his granddaughter. Then their loan will be considered paid off if Mas finally really married him."

"If not?"

"Of course Kusuma Corporation has to pay the following debt interest until now."

The deg!

Instantly my heart seemed to stop hearing Mr. Wicak's explanation. I didn't think my grandfather would do that. I mean, my whole family knows it and I don't know anything.

"Sir Wicak, are you sure? My dad and Sheryl's dad, they're best friends."

"Yes of course. I just tell you what is written there. Regarding their friendship I know little, Mas. One more thing, there's another interesting thing I caught."

"What's that?"

"Mas Baruna will be the sole heir to the company after you get married. It can't be bothered."

I sighed hearing Mr. Wicak's explanation. It was not new to me because I had heard it from my grandfather and father. It made my relationship with Reynand a little complicated.

"Thank you for the info, sir."

"Yes Mas. Tomorrow, so go home, right?"

"Yes I'm home tomorrow."

"Well, I'll send a soft copy of the agreement via email. Mas Baruna can check it out for herself."

"Good Sir. Thank you for the help. I can count on you."

"Together, my mother."

Why would Grandpa do such a thing? My parents ... why do they support such a written agreement? Then Sheryl ... what would her reaction be if she knew there was something like this?

I stepped up to take a glass of water, gulping it impatiently. I'm trying to clear my head. Not long after, Reza called.

"Hello Za."

"Bar, have you called Sheryl yet?"

"'It was just this morning. I haven't called again. Why Za?"

"Counsel's dead. He hasn't returned home since he got home from work."

"Can't we Za? Don't mess around." I'm panicking.

"I play games, Bar. Last time he came home he said there was a meeting with his client for a while. But not home yet. I called her secretary, and she said there was no scheduled meeting that afternoon."

"Where will he go, Za?"

"I asked you. Call him or not."

"Today I haven't made a phone call. He was on the phone about ten in the morning. Unfortunately, I didn't pick up and I haven't had time to call back."

"Where is the bar? The turn is over and the fiancee begins to fade. Just in the past, being chased."

"Reza, are you mocking me again? Yes, I admit it was a few days ago I was a bit indifferent but that's not the reason. I'm here a lot of work. Yeah, I'm back right now."

"Yes, yeah. The point is don't be disappointed. Isn't tomorrow coming back?"

"Gue can't wait if this is the case. I'll get ready first."

"Yes. Beware Bar."

"Yes Za."

I hung up, then tried to call Sheryl. But his phone really could not be reached. Only voice mail is heard.

I rushed to get the things I was going to bring. The head that felt dizzy from the cursed drink started to attack more and more, but I didn't care.

Not long after, I was in a car driving to the airport. Pensively thought to himself about Sheryl who was now out of nowhere.

Honey, where are you now?

I was still in the treatment room. Looked at the face of my mother who was asleep. Tomorrow he is allowed to go home because there are no significant complaints.

I saw my phone screen. Checking incoming work emails. Time had shown me at seven in the evening when suddenly Indira's name appeared on the screen, she called me.

"Sister."

"Hm ...."

"How mom?"

"Living in bed, Dir."

"Tomorrow to go home."

"Yes hopefully."

"Sister I tried to call Sheryl but her phone wasn't active."

"Certainly? Why tell my sister?"

"Just want to tell a story. Not usually, brother. Cannot be contacted yet."

"You sure?"

"Yes. I was gonna ask Baruna, but I just remembered that Sheryl said she was overseas."

"Oh ...."

"Yes, sister, I'd like to ask you that. Tomorrow I'll pick up Mama."

"No need. I'll see you at home."

"Yes already."

Indira ended her call. I tried to call Sheryl. Indira's words intrigued me.

Is it true that he can't be contacted?

There was a voice message indicating that his phone was inactive. I got up from my seat. Walking back and forth is not bad. Anxiety began to enter my brain.

Where is he? I kept thinking about it all day. Getting news like this made me even more upset about not being able to do anything.
