The Marriage Order

The Marriage Order
Been kidnapped?

Four days later ....

I looked at my reflection in the mirror getting ready for work. Today is my second day at the family company. Armed with the knowledge and experience I have, I am sure that I can help Papa overcome the difficulties in the company.

I stepped casually out of the room as time was still showing at half-seven. It was too early to rush.

Mama, Papa, and Kak Reza had gathered to sit at the dinner table. The sound of the twangs of forks and spoons adorned the atmosphere of breakfast.

"Good morning everyone," I said as I peeked at Papa and Mama's cheeks.

"Good morning, dear. How's he sleeping, good?" ask Mama.

"Yes Ma."

I pulled up my chair and sat opposite Reza.

"Today go together?" ask Reza.

"Yes Brother."

"I thought you went with Baruna."

"No. He's still in Tokyo."

Reza nodded her head in understanding and then put the rice and side dishes into her mouth.

"When did he come home?" tanyakanya.

"Tomorrow. Hopefully not back off the schedule" I said.

Twenty minutes later, we finished enjoying our breakfast. Papa got up from his seat.

"Let's go now" he asked as he moved from his seat followed by me and Reza.

Reza's sister turned on the engine of her car. He's sitting in the steering chair. Half an hour later the car was already running in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the highway.

Eight o'clock, fifteen, we arrived at the office. Standing in front of the elevator waiting for him took us to the floor of each room.

I was shocked when I saw Satya walking towards us. She walks with her sister, Aditya.

What are they doing here?

I swallowed my saliva. Satya looked at me smiling knot. I hurriedly lowered my head, not wanting to meet him face to face.

Ting!

Open elevator. We all got into the elevator. The elevator that drove to the tenth floor was traveling very slowly like never before.

Satya who stood right behind me then whispered in my ear, "Gue kangen lo, Sher."

My face stiffened with a roaring heartbeat. The body did the same reaction, trembling in fear at the instant of hearing his words.

Why do we have to meet here again?

I grabbed the hand of Brother Reza who stood beside me, grasping it tightly. Brother Reza turned his head as soon as his eyes changed to understand when there was Satya behind me.

Ting!

Open elevator. You all get out of the elevator walking towards each destination. Damn Satya came out following us.

I looked towards Kak Reza while whispering, "Sister, why did Satya come out on the same floor?"

"Of course, this month has entered the year-end period. There are many meetings that shareholders must attend. Their room is one floor with us." he replied softly.

"Oh .. sorry I just found out because it is different culture with Pradipta Kak."

Brother Reza nodded in understanding.

We also split into our own rooms. I trusted Papa as a manager in the sales and marketing department in accordance with my experience so far in working. Meanwhile, the director had previously been dismissed because of corruption cases in the company.

I pulled my phone out of the bag. I haven't called Baruna this morning. The longing for waiting was stifling. I also made a call.

I waited for my phone to be answered. His tone was heard for so long that it was finally answered.

"Hello, my dear, how did you sleep last night?"

"Yourn. Saturday is home, right?"

"Yes hopefully. There is good progress here. So I'm calm to leave her."

"I've missed you so much."

"Yes, believe me I feel that way too. Missed you all my days here."

"I met Satya earlier."

"....."

"Why silence?"

"Sepent .... Sorry, I'll call you later."

Baruna's sister turned off her phone unilaterally.

I put my phone on the table, chin-backed looking straight ahead. Unknowingly I started to daydream.

My mind wandered back to the day I met Mr. Reynand at the hospital. Wondering what he was doing there. His face was not excited.

Is his mother sick? And Oh My God, he hugged me who was sad at the time. Hey, what's he thinking?

My face was red in shame. I didn't realize I was hugging him either. My position at that time was very shocked with the grieving state.

Tok to tok.

The sound of knocking on the door blew my daydream.

"Lake in!" myrag.

Someone turned the door handle and what did I see? Satya stood in front of me and then sat her body on the chair looking at me.

"What's up?" I asked with a face I didn't like.

"Sher, you're so fierce, anyway" he smiled.

"Yes what do you want? If you don't have any better business, don't bother me anymore. Just keep your distance and we don't have to know each other."

"Mahaha ...." Satya laughed loudly. "Ah actually I want to make peace with you Sher. But you are more beautiful when you are angry. I like that. By the way, congratulations on your engagement and Baruna ya." He smiled back

"No need for pleasantries, Sat."

Satya got up from her seat standing behind me kissing the top of my head. My heart is beating fast. I was shaking in fear. Biting my lips in anxiety. He really scares me.

Satya whispered, "Yes, let me have a pleasant conversation. I will not accept that you are happy in my sorrow. I'll keep your shadow, Sheryl baby."

"Sat, please don't disturb my life anymore."

"Later after work at cafe M. I wait. Let no one know. Enough of you and me, Sher. After we meet together maybe I'll change my mind." Satya smiled back meaningfully.

"What is a date?"

"Can be. Whatever it is I want to talk to you alone, just the two of you" he said and then walked out of my room.

I breathed a sigh of relief, he finally came out of my room. I reached for my phone to call Kak Baruna immediately to tell her what just happened. But he didn't pick it up after I tried so many times. He must be very busy.

Did I try this last way? Meeting him only two. If I talk to Baruna, she would disagree. But I can't bear it if he's always been my shadow. I'll solve my problem as soon as possible.

Time did not seem to pass so quickly, eight hours had passed. My watch has already shown at five past fifteen. I put my foot out of the room.

"Dad!"

I looked back. Seems like Reza's sister walked up to me.

"Sister, I can't go home together today. There's an impromptu meeting with a client."

"What a meeting outside office hours."

"It was just for a second. Brother and Papa go home first."

"Certainly?"

"Yes Brother."

"Yes already. Don't you take it long." Brother Reza rubbed my hair. "Sister believes you're strong against all odds."

"Hey why are you talking like that?"

"There's no reason to say this and that, right? I just wanted to say that I'm proud to have a sister like you."

I smiled, not usually Brother Reza encouraged me.

"Aren't you taking the wrong medication?" I held onto Kak Reza's forehead which did not warm up.

"Bg .... You are yes. It was wrong. It says wrong to take the medicine." Reza's sister clings to my head slowly.

I just laughed at my brother's behavior. We split up in the lobby. I walked out onto the highway. Waiting for the online driver I ordered at a bus stop.

The bus stop looked quieter than usual. I sat there alone.

Five minutes later an SUV stopped in front of me. Three large men approached me.

I raised my head to look at them. His horrible face scared me a little. They looked at me with a sharp look.

"Who are you?" just polite.

"Follow us, Miss."

"What business is it?"

They looked at each other and nodded. Then one of the long-haired men pulled my hand. Two others pushed me, forcing me into the car.

I gasped in shock at their treatment, suddenly shouting, "Please! Help me!"

But baby, my voice is outnumbered by the noise of vehicles on the highway. No one is listening. Everyone doesn't ignore me.

A brown handkerchief was placed on my nose. I began to lose consciousness.
