Reynand Pov's
Hearing my words, Aunt Rini snorted, saying, "Baruna also used to say the same thing. He wants to make Sheryl happy, but it's not like that. In the end he hurt her."
I smiled wryly. "You have already generalized my attitude like Baruna and Dad. If it's like that, how can I prove that what I'm saying is truly sincere comes from my deepest heart?"
"Trush your mother first. He'll be very disappointed you're against him."
"That's for sure, Aunt." I'm nodding. "My intentions are sincere towards Sheryl."
We were both silent for a while until the atmosphere became uncomfortable. But suddenly Aunt Rini put a thin smile on her face.
"Alright, everything will depend on your efforts," said Aunt Rini then rose to his feet. He stared with his serious face water. "Aunte, however, actually Auntie also wants you to be happy."
I gasp. My eyes widened hearing his words. "What does that mean...."
"Don't be happy just yet. You still have to get your mother's blessing and Sheryl's Papa."
"Yes, Auntie." I'm nodding.
"Auntie will also try to help you. May their hearts melt quickly and be able to understand how to make their children happy," said Aunt Rini sound wise.
My heart's rumbling great. It was completely unexpected that Aunt Rini would bless our relationship. Encompassed with a feeling of happiness, I got up to my feet and grabbed my hands, and lowered my head to kiss his back.
"Tante, thank you," I said looking at him with unusually happy eyes. It felt like crying right then and there if it had no shame. Unfortunately, I am still too embarrassed to express my feelings. This is really a surprise.
"Yes, Rey. Aunty blesses your relationship," she nodded.
After Aunt Rini expressed her blessing to our relationship, I went home. Rushing towards the car. Mr. Zaki had waited long enough in the courtyard of the Kusuma family residence.
I breathed a sigh of relief, opening the car door. But when I was about to enter it felt like someone was poking my shoulder from behind. I'm turning. Sheryl was standing behind me. She smiled at her sweet smile.
"Do you want to go home without saying goodbye to me?" he asked her with happy eyes because he was in love.
I returned Sheryl's smile. Without a word directly hugged her so tightly. "I'm so glad your mother has our blessing."
"Yes, I know, Rey. My mother changed and kept her promise. He wants me to be happy with you, too" he said.
I untied the hug without reducing the degree angle of my smile to Sheryl. Without hesitation, I landed a gentle kiss on his forehead.
"I'm home. You rest. I'll call you later" I said.
"He-em. You should also go straight home and rest."
"Yes, Sher." I nodded obediently.

Instead of going back to the apartment or to Mama's house, I told Mr. Zaki to stop his vehicle at the Pradipta Corporation building. There's something I have to do here before I go home or my heart won't feel at ease.
Mamma. Yes, I want to meet him! There's something uproar that I need to know the truth about.
I waited for Mama in her room because she wasn't there. One of the officers said that Mama was outside and would return after lunch. It's my fault for rushing to come without contacting him first.
I lay on a long sofa with eyes looking at the ceiling of the room. Tired of these eyes can no longer be tolerated. Unknowingly, I too fell asleep.
"Rey! Rey!"
"Mama's back?"
"Yes. Why did you come without telling Mama? How's the apartment project going? Mr. Amancio doesn't make you hard, does he?" ask him endless long questions.
I'm shaking. "Mr Amancio is very good. Next month each unit will go on sale" I replied.
"Thank God." Mama stroked his chest, looking relieved. My family's number one woman then got up from her seat, shuffled to her desk, "it seems like there's something urgent you want to talk about until you don't tell your mama first."
"Yes." Yeah." I nodded, then sat inching in front of him.
"What do you want to say?" sahut Mama while removing the glasses, then massaging his forehead that looks tired.
I pulled a line of thin smiles. "I know Mama had someone spy on me in London."
Mama raised her face. He was flabbergasted for a while before finally publishing a cold smile for me.
"You are really my son" he said softly.
"Why did Mama do that?" my many.
"Of course to make sure things go the way they should. But unfortunately you even gave Mama a surprise," answered Mama then pulled one of her desk drawers and pulled out a few photos, showing it to me. The pictures of me and Sheryl together from night to day we spent walking around the Thames.
"Julian took those photos! Mama asked him to go to London to follow you every step of the way" he added.
"Julian..," he said, grabbing the pictures and looking at them with annoyance. How not? He's my secretary but he's doing things I didn't tell him to do behind my back. "That means all this time Mama actually knew where Sheryl was?"
"You could say so. But soon Mama became a little anxious when she found out Sheryl was working with Mr. Amancio. And sure enough, you really met." Mama shook her head slowly.
"Mama's a real heart, yeah...." I was upset and disappointed in my mother. How could he know and not tell his son, when his son suffered so much because of Sheryl?
"Group? It's your demi, son. You can't keep on being tied to her."
"But I love him, Ma."
"You think you've been feeling great about finding Sheryl to spend the night in her apartment? You and Sheryl really let Mama down. You two have broken your promise to Mama."
"I don't care about that promise. This time I won't take it off like I used to."
Mama snorted a small laugh. It seems like my only words he regards as the wind then. "You always get weak when it comes to how you feel about Sheryl," he said, raising his eyebrows, then standing up, "this Sunday at seven o'clock in M's hotel restaurant, you need to see a woman named Livia Joana from the Reporters' family." Suddenly, Mom switched the conversation.
"Ck! What the hell, Ma?!" I snorted in annoyance. Mama started with her plan like she used to, betrothed me again after a while of not doing it.
"She's a woman from a good family who deserves to be with you, Rey."
"Just kid! I'll never come to meet Mama's request!" My heart rumbles with anger.
"Is that so?"
"Yes. I came here to tell Mama that I'm serious about a relationship with Sheryl. Mama won't be able to manage who I'm getting married to! And.. never come to Sheryl or Om the Great again without my knowledge."
Because of this the mood that was happy became uncomfortable. Mama really ruined it. Not wanting to prolong the debate between us any longer, I immediately got up and turned around to get out of Mama's study.
"Rey! Rey! Stop that!"
Mama called me with her screaming voice, but I didn't heed the call. My determination to marry Sheryl is already very strong and I will never be ruined by my endless matchmaking plans.
"You can't do anything without Mama, Rey!" added Mama who made my ears ring for a moment.
