The Marriage Order
S3 Unexpected Guests

Sheryl Pov's

I waited for David's reply for a moment. He turned his face water flat. Shortly, he nodded too.

"Yes, and everything is confirmed. I will indeed divorce Fely" he replied.

For a moment my breath was held. There is fear looming over. I'm really scared if Baruna ….

Ah …. Why can't I trust him like I used to?

"Can't you consider it any more?" my many.

David nodded slowly. His tears showed a belief that seemed to be immutable no matter what I was about to say.

I was silent for a moment. Kayla turned her eyes. The woman walked over to us.

"Come, Dav! We're getting out of here! I don't like meeting hypocrites!" His eyes were so sharp that they were pointing at me.

A hypocrite? What does he mean me and Rey?

I sat down with a reply to an eye that did not expect him to say that. My forehead also cringed in front of him.

"Loh, why? Don't you really want to come to this gallery?" david asked confused.

"We can come another time" he said, then without hesitation, writhing David's burly arm, about to take him away.

"Sher, I'm ahead!" The five fingers of David were lifted. Briefly saying goodbye to me.

"Yes. Careful."

The pair of lovers who made the surprise disappeared from sight. I was still in the middle, waiting for Reynand who never came back. I don't know what he's doing out there. Slowly, this foot stepped without command towards the gallery exit.

Stalled steps. Reynand was standing right at the door. I glanced down. In his hand was a small plastic bag.

"Sorry! Old, huh?" said.

I took a deep breath, then shook my head. Reynand took out a bottle of mineral water and gave it to me.

"So I bought a drink because I'm sure you must have been thirsty since."

I grabbed a bottle of mineral water from his hand, then walked towards a long bench not far from the gallery and sat there.

Reynand was right. I'm so thirsty. Especially after hearing David's words. Immediately I sipped the water from the bottle of mineral water until half was finished. Afterwards, take Reynand home.

The road is not too crowded than usual. It took us about thirty minutes to get home. But all the way I kept quiet even though the single man beside me kept talking to me.

"Why are you being quiet?" reynand asked, after neutralizing the gear.

I turned to her, asking, "Why do you look so relaxed? Didn't you feel anything when you found out Kayla was dating David?"

"Something? Meanin?"

I rolled my eyes, trying to take my eyes off her. I really don't want him to know what my heart is right now.

"Yes .. who knows you're jealous …."

Reynand snorted, then published his grin. "Jealous? What's for?"

"Because Kayla has turned away from you. Your fans are one less."

"No problem to me. I've told my dislike of his relationship with David." Reynand relaxed.

"So you're really jealous, aren't you?" I urged him to admit it.

"If you're very curious, I'll tell you," she said.

Reynand paused hearing my rebuttal. He seemed very happy to be so attached, but I could only draw and exhale in annoyance. There's something else so disturbing.

The man's laughter stopped as he looked at my two expanding cheeks. "Sorry, Sher! I'm making you back badmood."

"They're getting a divorce, Rey," I said.

Reynand did not answer. He just stared with serious face.

"Fely and David are really getting divorced!" i said again. This time with a louder voice.

"Then?"

"He wants to take Baruna."

Reynand rubbed his face. Both of his hands then stretched out to hold my shoulder. Her facial water looked irritated with the shocks she was doing clinging to my shoulder. "Listen, Sheryl! Felicia and David's divorce is none of your business. Even though I was so angry with Baruna for making you like this, I made sure she would be very sorry if she left you and chose that woman instead."

Reynand seemed fiery saying her opinion. But what I feel is the opposite. I'm not sure I remember him calling me less and less.

"But they have a child, Rey."

"Where's the difference? You're gonna have kids too, right?!" Reynand fixed her gaze on my sizable stomach.

"But …." I looked down, immediately rubbing my stomach.

"You just calm down. There's still me who cares about you, Sheryl." Reynand's palm moved, suddenly wiping the top of my head. Instantly, I raised my face until our eyes met each other. There, I found a sincerity from him. The man raised both corners of his lips, trying to calm down. "I don't like you being so insecure. You have to make yourself valuable. After all, I'm actually very envious of Baruna. He got what I wanted. Yourself."

The deg!

My heart rate has become unsettled. He's making me less able to wiggle. Already repeatedly refused, Reynand was very firm opinionated. And I didn't know I had to say much less to make him back off.

"Rey ... I told you, right?"

"Yes. I-i know. We can only be friends." Reynand nodded, pulling his arm away. A hint of disappointment was seen on his face.

I don't respond to him anymore. Soon I open the car door, get out of there. Before long, Reynand hurried off in his car.

I turned the body. Instantly my eyes gasped to see a familiar car parked in the yard.

Daddy's? Mother? What are they doing in my house?

My feelings instantly became unpleasant. Sure enough! The atmosphere of the living room was so quiet when I set foot there. Both my parents, and my two in-laws were sitting opposite each other with stiffened face. Their eyeballs just turned towards me.

"Sheryl, sit!"

Papa told me to join. There is no reason to refuse. Immediately inched slowly sitting next to Mama.

What's the matter?

There were no words spoken from Mama's mouth other than her normally warm hand grip now became cold I felt. I turned my head, but there was no answer but an anxious face there.

"Mom?" lirihku confused. Mama just shook her head slowly.

"Where are you from? Why did you come home so late?" Papa suddenly asked with his tone of voice suddenly rising.

"Hospital," I lied.

"You sure?" Papa looked at her with different looking face water. More terrible. While Father and Mother who were between us just silently listened.

I nodded, but Papa immediately shook his head. It would seem like if he didn't believe me.

"Honestly, Son." Mom suddenly let out her voice.

"He's not going to be honest, Rin. Go with another man when her husband is not around!" With a loud voice, Papa immediately pressed his sentence.
