The Marriage Order

The Marriage Order
S3 Surprise Reynand

Sheryl Pov's

A month has passed since that incident. My divorce and Baruna has reached its peak. Not long ago, the judge decided on our farewell. I will not regret my decision. Farewell must happen between us so that in the future no one feels hurt.

Baruna apologized for everything, as did me when the judge's hammer beat decided our future. He hugged me at the end of the trial. Remember how the moment happened. We both let go of our egos and apologized.

"Now I have released you with a big heart. I'm sorry I hurt you so much. You can go and get your happiness with whoever it is. In my deepest heart, I still love you, Sheryl."

"I've forgiven you. I am also wrong with you a lot. I'm sorry for everything, Mas" replied I, who was unable to say anything else but sorry.

Baruna nodded. Soon, we separated. Coming home brought our thoughts.

Back to today....

I just attended Kak Reza's wedding and Kak Dita's. Their wedding party was short enough to last for four hours. I was tired of being involved in weddings. Even so, I feel very happy to see both of them happy.

The day is getting late. Mama, Papa and I decided to go home without spending another night at the hotel. Both of them seemed tired of falling asleep on the way home, while I was still awake with erratic thoughts because of the many things I thought.

A short time later, suddenly our driver stopped the vehicle just near the gate. I was still awake and looked ahead to make sure what happened. A white sedan parked in front of the gate blocked our way.

Papa suddenly woke up and asked, "What's up, sir? How's stopping?"

"There's a car in front of the gate, sir."

I know the plate. Before Papa said any further, I cut off their conversation, "I know who he is. Let me see him," I said.

"Reynand?" guess Papa.

"Yes. Who else?" I said.

"Don't be long, Sher. You have to rest because early in the morning you have to be at the airport" said Papa. How he worried about his only daughter.

"Yes, Pa." I'm nodding. While looking at Mama who was still asleep like a fainting person, "don't wake Mama," I said.

"Yes." Yeah." Papa replied with a smile on his lips.

I opened the door and immediately got out of the car, inching Reynand's car. Like there was no sign of life, I saw him asleep leaning against the windowpanes. Without wasting any time, knocked on his window a few times. Reynand, who had fallen asleep, woke up and lowered her glass.

"Sheryl..," she said with a glazed look. His face looked worn and tired. Out of nowhere he targeted and parked his vehicle in front of someone else's house.

"Hey, what are you doing in front of my gate? Make my car can't just get in!" I said making a faint smile at him as if nothing had happened between us before. Shame to Reynand seemed to have evaporated just like that replacing the happiness that came suddenly.

Reynand turned to look at my car and moved it from the front of the gate. Without wasting any time my car entered the yard. Meanwhile, I stayed in my position waiting for Reynand to get out of his car.

In an instant, he was seen coming out of the steering wheel door, walking towards me. Wordlessly, pulling me in his arms.

"Is this really you?" he said then sobbed.

My breath feels tight to hear that stuffing. Indeed for the past month there was no communication between us after I found out he heard my quarrel and Baruna on the phone. I deactivated everything. Phone number, sosmed, and all sorts of possible ways he called me. Even Baruna and my friends told me not to tell him any information about me.

"Yes. Of course it's me, Rey," I replied.

Reynand tightened her arms as if she didn't want to lose. "God! I almost got into an accident because I wanted to see you soon. Driving like crazy from the airport. Why do you like to worry me so much? Why don't you want me to call you? Oh, geez! You're making me feel like a complete lunatic!" he said without making a pause on his sentence.

Reynand reluctantly loosened her embrace, looking at me deeply. His chest expands taking one breath. "Not what a pathetic thing, but in the end can meet you."

"Your mom knows?"

"No. I came straight here as soon as I got to the airport, without coming back home."

"He'll be looking for you."

"I don't care, Sher."

I took a quick breath. Anyway, I know Aunt Aina never liked me. Before this, two weeks ago he came to see me. Told me to stay away from her son because I realized I couldn't ban Reynand with my own mouth.

I unraveled her warm embrace. Reply looking into his shady eyes. "While you already know how I feel, we'd better live each other's lives, Rey. It's better for everyone. Your mother–"

My words were cut. Reynand covered my lips with hers. My eyeballs widened in surprise, but it also could not escape until he pulled his kiss.

"Can't you talk about it? Tonight, I just want you, Sher."

My body trembled at his words. Likewise with my face that immediately warmed. I tiptoed a little and returned the kiss even deeper as if delivering an endless longing for her. Long enough for us to feel the body temperature warms each other.

Reynand smiled showing how happy he was. "You didn't tell me to go inside?" ask her with a wink that leads to the gate.

"deserve? You just wanted to get close to your own sister's widow." I grieve.

"I really don't care what other people think. Even my own mother" he said.

"Rey...." I shook my head, but he was clucking amusedly.

"Where's your phone?" ask with open palms.

I who knew what it meant could only flinch at that huge palm. Reynand did not seem to have broken the charcoal, she grabbed the small bag that was still stuck on my shoulder and reached into the contents. Without hesitation contact his phone quickly, then return the communication tool again into the bag.

"Don't disappear again! I swear I'll look for you wherever you go" he said, drawing a line of almost invisible smiles.

I didn't give him an answer. Just replying to her with a wry smile that was full of meaning.

"Go home! You need to rest after your long journey" I said as I pushed his body, but he was still unmoved with a smile that was still resting on his face.

"Just a second! I still want to see your face. One month isn't a minute without you, Sher."

"Look! You even flipped with his ease. Since when have you changed this?"

"Since I know your feelings are sincere to me, I can no longer nurture my longings in London." The man re-launched his norish shake at me.

"Damn! You made me blush. Go before Papa and my mom kick you out." I pushed him back, but Reynand stayed on his feet. He hugged me again with his warm body.
