Baruna looked back, ascertaining who the man who called her was. After not turning around for a long time, I looked up and looked at the same scene.
Felicia's figure walked gracefully towards us along with the handsome man who was guiding the figure of Rafael beside her. Behind them are Nayara and a man I never knew before.
Instantly my curiosity appeared. He turned his gaze towards my husband. Even at a glance, Baruna was flabbergasted to see them, then quickly changed his facial water as usual.
Surely Baruna just remembered Felicia as his old friend in Australia. In addition, I smiled happily to see Nayara and Felicia dress in matching colors. We look compact now.
Now the five men are standing before us. Felicia's husband put on his smile. "Sir Baruna, forgive us for coming late" he said, extending a hand.
"Oh, it's okay. The show hasn't really started yet. How are you, Mr David?" Baruna extended her hand, returning the greeting of the man.
"Well," he answered and turned to his wife. "Oh, yeah! Introduce, she's my wife."
Felicia looked silent for a moment before finally extending her hand. However, Baruna did not welcome the woman's palm. He looked at Felicia for quite a while. I don't know what's going on in his heart right now.
"Darling?" my reproof instantly awakened him from his little daydream.
"Ah, uh, yes!" Baruna turned her head, then refocused on the woman. She gave a warm smile to him. "Baruna," said he.
"Felicia" Felicia replied with a sweet smile of hers.
Felicia followed her husband. Reintroduce yourself to a man who is also his old friend. This is the moment I had hoped for long after Baruna had always prevented me from hanging out with Felicia. But in the end my desire to bring two old friends together was created without any significant obstacles.
"How are you, Fely?" baruna asked still with her thin smile line engraving.
"good. Very well," he said.
"Do you know each other?" david asked in surprise.
His wife looked at him. "He was a friend of mine while studying in Australia, honey."
"Oh." David nodded in understanding.
I saw Baruna watching Rafael standing beside David. His forehead was staring at him. Maybe he just realized that the boy had a shady look similar to him. Rafael looked up, returned Baruna's gaze with a slightly frightened face, then pulled out the father's black pants.
David looked at Rafael confusedly. "What's up?"
"It looks like your son wants to pee" said Baruna suddenly. Since then Rafael has been seen holding back pee.
"If you want to pee say dong, Rafa. You'll have a mouth, don't shut up, champ!" David immediately pulled Rafael's hand. "Sorry, Mr. Baruna, I'll go to the toilet first."
"D-yes." Baruna nodded.
"I took Rafa to the toilet first" said David.
"Yes" said Felicia.
The father and son left Felicia who was still standing with Nayara and her partner in front of us.
"Sheryl, Baruna, how are you?" napa Nayara commented on her smile, greeting me and my husband.
"Our news is good, Nay," replied Baruna then rolling her eyes towards the man standing next to Nayara. "Well, who's the guy standing next to you?" Baruna raised next to an eyebrow, teasing the woman.
Shamefully Nayara turned to her side. While continuing to show a smile, he answered Baruna's question, "His name is Gathan, and he is my friend."
"Friends but friendly times," Felicia chirped with her eyes glancing upwards pretending not to see them.
"What the hell, Fel?" Nayara slapped Felicia on the shoulder. His face looks embarrassed.
"Just like, anyway. Gat, you don't want to shoot this woman again?" Felicia pointed at Nayara.
Gathan chuckles. "I'm waiting for him to ask me to get married" he said.
Hearing that, Nayara glared at him. It made me and Baruna laugh. Felicia laughed with us. Not long after, he stopped his laughter.
"Oh yeah, Bar, Sher. Actually this man is my brother-in-law" he said suddenly.
"Baruna."
"Sheryl."
We both greeted the man. Gathan is a very friendly man. It can adapt quickly. Talked familiarly with my husband. While I was immersed in the conversation with two established women who I had decided to be my best friend from now on.
"I'm thirsty! I'll grab a drink first, yeah," I said.
"Yes, Sher," said Nayara, still busy for talking funny things with Felicia.
"Want a drink, honey?" ask me to Baruna.
"Can. Orange juice only," said Baruna then spoke to Gathan again.
I'm nodding. Hurry up and get a drink for us. Immediately take two glasses of orange juice for me and Baruna, then flip over.
Bruk!
Accidentally bumping into someone in front of me until the contents of the two glasses burst out to smudge the cream-colored suit that wrapped the sturdy body of a man.
Haish! How careless of you, Sher!
"Shery?" said.
The sound that sounded so familiar to me. Why are we destined to always collide like this? Are our eyes always blind every time we meet? He's the guy who a month ago said he'd never show up in front of me again and I'm the one who said he didn't want to get along with him. You're right, the son of Anton and Aina is right in front of me right now.
I looked up to make sure the owner of the face with that towering height. "Rey?"
I hurriedly put down my glass, then took some tissue from the table, and rubbed it on the orange juice-stained beige coat he was wearing. Hope the stain is gone a little.
Surprisingly after saying his promise one month ago, he did not step away from me. His sturdy body remained unmoved letting me do stupid things to him.
"The tissue will not remove this stain, even if you try it for a thousand years" he said so coldly.
I looked up again. Looked at his flat face. "Sorry, Rey. I really didn't mean–"
Instead of retaliating, he pulled out half his smile, cutting off my unfinished words. "Is there anything you can do other than a hobby bumping into me like this? Haish! Why did all this happen to me? Breaking a promise just because you have to keep seeing you."
I breathe long. Who would want to meet him in such a tacky manner continue? God probably would have preferred us to be related like cats and dogs rather than being a brother and sister.
"You better not promise like that, Rey. It's impossible if you won't appear in front of me, except living alone on an uninhabited, remote island!" sahutku.
This man in front of me clenched his mouth not retaliating. His chest was seen up and down breathing irregularly. He seemed to hold something turbulent but could not say it.
Suddenly the man pulled my hand. Without a doubt I took me away from the hotel ballroom.
"Hey! Where are you taking me?!" I shouted, but he did not turn his head, even answering my simple question.
Our steps ended in a deserted parking lot. Reynand opened the car door. Take out another suit that's in there. As fast as lightning, he replaced his dirty suit with a clean suit. The man then twisted his body, looking at me with the glare of his sharp eyes.
"I can't be like this, Sher. Being around you drives me crazy holding back various emotions that are stirring irregularly. Say it! How am I supposed to behave in front of you without worrying about Baruna getting hurt?"
