Sheryl Pov's
Of the many surnames, why is the surname Pradipta that I must hear today?
A few minutes ago ….
I left Lorraine's cafe for Mr. Amancio's den in a hasty step. The pale white, blue-eyed man was sitting at his desk, focusing on a computer screen. Seeing me enter, he immediately raised his face.
"Sheryl, I need you to pick up Mr. Pradipta at the airport!"
"Mrs. A pradipta?" I frowned to affirm it again. The surname I had long forgotten is now back.
"I'll send the pic of him!"
Shortly my phone rang. Mr. Amancio sent me a familiar picture. Yep. He really is Reynand.
"Can you go now? I'm afraid he's got mad if you're late."
"But Mr-" I tried to refuse Mr. Amancio's orders.
"What are you waiting for? Go now!"
The sharp look of Mr. Amancio who was about to get angry was forced to make me give in. I also turned out of his room.
I was in the car to the airport. Stepping the car gas deeper in pursuit of time.
According to the information, Mr. The pradipta he mentioned earlier arrived at the airport at one noon. Fifteen more minutes I have to arrive if I don't want to get into trouble with Mr. Amancio.
Fortunately, the atmosphere of the highway is not too crowded this afternoon. I arrived on time and almost ran towards the overseas arrival terminal. My gaze circulated in all directions, hoping to find the man among the many passers-by.
There's none. The man I avoided at once I missed until now, his figure was not also visible there. I don't know where he's hiding. Does he know I picked him up?
"Haish! Where is he?" I murmured half in despair for not finding his figure after a long while.
I took a slow breath, deciding to sit on one of the long benches. A few times my phone rang. The chatty Mr. Amancio sent a chat message. Ask if I've met his colleague.
Chilly. I who was sitting down immediately close the brown coat enveloping my body. The weather was so bad that my nose itched and sneezed a few times. Not only that, because of Mr. Amancio's orders this afternoon, I did not have time to enjoy my lunch.
"Wear this!"
A familiar man's voice suddenly sounded. I raised my face, saw the fingers thrusting a blue handkerchief right in front of my face. I looked up at once too. Reynand was standing right in front of me.
"Rey..," I muttered with bated breath. My chest feels like it's blowing at him. Among the happy and afraid to see his face that looked like nothing had happened between us. Actually, I really don't dare to see him anymore.
"So you were the one who was told to pick up Mr Pradipta?" Reynand smiled meaningfully.
I grabbed a handkerchief from Reynand's hand. Immediately use it to wipe the nose that has been dripping, then rise to look in his face.
"Rey, don't you feel tired?" Unknowingly an ambiguous sentence just slid from my lips.
"Tired? Of course tired. Is sixteen hours of air travel you don't consider exhausting, huh?" Reynand looked coldly at me. He even raised his eyebrows in front of me. It changed. His warm attitude had now turned cold as ever.
He must still be angry. Yep. He must still be angry with me.
"Yes, must be very tired."
I'm nodding. Why does it feel sad to hear his response? My question actually has another purpose.
Aren't you tired of chasing me here? Well, you must be tired of chasing me. Sheryl, he's not coming for you. Reynand came on business. As my heart continues to speak.
"Please bring the suitcase!" his orders.
I was silent. Reynand who was like this after a year of not meeting seemed to be fine and had forgotten everything that happened between us.
"Wait for what else? Mr. Amancio told you to pick me up, didn't he?" said Reynand who suddenly changed the way he spoke.
I heard Reynand's words. Then quickly nodded. He immediately grabbed his black suitcase. We also left the airport.
Reynand was in the back seat of the passenger. While I was driving the office car, driving him to the resting place. Several times I glanced at him from the middle spy but he didn't seem to notice me at all. Reynand was busy with her phone.

Should I tell you I'm so happy to see him? But I had to pretend and hold back that feeling. At least make sure he does not have a partner here.
In accordance with my orders, Sheryl escorted me to the apartment that I had occupied with Mama in London. I treated him like an assistant. He told her to bring my suitcase back from the parking lot to the apartment unit. Our relationship is as rigid as it used to be.
"Even, right? Then, I say back to the office," he said when he had placed the suitcase in one corner of the room. Sheryl turns over.
"Wait!" my orders prevented him from leaving.
Sheryl turned her body back to look at me confused. "What else, Mr Pradipta?" My call suddenly changed.
I gulped, momentarily silent. "Sweep my hands, please wash right now! I can't leave without that thing!"
Sheryl took my handkerchief out of her coat. Without much talking he asked, "Where should I wash it?"
"There!" I pointed towards the bathroom. Without further ado, he inching to wash the thing. While I just smile at him.
Shortly, he returned. "I washed it. Where should I dry it?"
"You can hang it out there." I pointed at the balcony. And sure enough, Sheryl obeyed whatever I told her to when the sky was cloudy out there.
As Sheryl turned around and stood in front of me again, the woman said, "I have to go back to the office. Mr. Amancio may be confused looking for me."
I grinned obliquely. Immediately took out my phone from my pocket and showed me a message from his boss.
[Mrs. Pradipta, my secretary will help you while you are here. Take her as advantages.]
Instantly Sheryl bought me staring at the screen of my phone. "Is this true of him?"
"Yes. Who do you think this is from, huh?" I put on a thin smile.
Sheryl folded her arms, staring at the boredom. "So, what do you need now?"
"Ehm, eat. Because I haven't eaten yet, I want to eat now."
"Well, I'll order food through the delivery service." Sheryl's getting ready with her phone.
"No. I want to eat Indonesian food that has just been made by the hands of people I know."
"You mean?" The woman's forehead wiggled.
"Put something for me."
"That's not my job." Sheryl refused.
"You forgot Mr Amancio's chat message? How about I whip up your behavior like this?"
Sheryl took a long breath. He said, "Rey, that's it. Don't make it harder for me!"
Sheryl is finally tired of herself. I replied with a thin smile.
"I'm not making things difficult for you. Anyhow being here for a while has made me miss eating authentic Indonesian food. What if it's long? Don't you feel that way?"
"You asked my opinion?"
I'm nodding.
"It all depends on the situation and conditions. Man must be able to adapt wherever he is." Sheryl said with a slightly bent face.
"If boyfriend? A pair? Hows it? Don't you miss him?"
"Oh come on, Rey.. You didn't mean to trap me with questions like that, did you? Our story has long since passed–"
"Are you just about to start?" I cut his words.
