The Marriage Order

The Marriage Order
Apologies

Baruna PoVs

I closed the door to Grandpa's room, left him after he enjoyed lunch and took his medicine. My mother and I just got home after picking her up from the hospital.

There is a question in my heart. Why didn't you come with us? I asked her but Mother did not answer.

I stepped towards the middle room where the mother was sitting leaning back pensively.

"Bun," call me as I approach her.

Mother turned her head towards me in shock, "What's the Bar?"

I slammed my body sitting on the sofa beside her observing her troubled face. I put my head on his shoulder. Rarely can I go out with my mother. Especially if I'm married to Sheryl.

"What is Mother thinking?" my many.

"Nothing .... So spoiled really you. Already grown up this close to Mother. Sheryl Illfeel will see you like this."

"Let Bun. Besides, if later I am married not necessarily I can be like this with Mother," I said and then saw Mother again who was silent again. "Bun don't lie to me, I know you're hiding something."

"Your father went to see his ex-wife," said Mother suddenly.

"Aina Aina's aunt?" My head suddenly looked up, widened my eyes.

"Yes. Mommy was supposed to come to the Bar, but she forbade Mommy and ordered Mommy to keep Dad at home."

"It's been a while?"

"Two hours ago."

"Didn't you all meet yesterday at the hospital? Why else would you meet him?"

"To get things done for your own good, children."

"Where did they meet Bun?"

"In Daniel's restaurant your friend."

"I followed Dad to Bun." You got out of my seat without listening to Mother's answer against me.

Daniel's place? I'll follow Dad there.

I hurried to take the car keys out of the house while glancing at my watch which showed at two o'clock in the afternoon. I was supposed to go to Sheryl's house today for a mediation with Satya's family. But I think I'm gonna cancel it.

I took a cell phone out of my pants pocket making a phone call to Sheryl my future wife. The connecting tone sounded not so long until he answered my call.

"Hello, honey sorry I can't seem to come to the show."

"Dear, it doesn't matter. The show is over."

"Done? That's fast. So how?"

"As I thought he was crazy. It's fucked up, honey."

"Oh yeah? Well, you'll tell me what the details are. I have a little business."

"What about grandpa?"

"It's better. Is resting in the room."

"I'm sorry I couldn't come to pick her up. Then how's tomorrow's show? Shouldn't it be pushed back?"

"Drawn? Come on, baby, don't joke. All preparations are in order. Grandpa said our engagement should go even without it."

"Stay, can we have some fun when Grandpa's sick?"

"Enmm .... I didn't say I could. But this plan was a long time ago. I was waiting for it too, baby. Understand."

"Yes, I hope tomorrow's show goes well, baby."

"Let's love, I hope there's no obstacle. I'll hang up the phone tonight I'll tell you again."

"Yes dear."

I ended the phone call, immediately pressed the gas pedal of my car running towards Niel Western Restaurant.

An hour later I reached Daniel's restaurant. The atmosphere of the streets at the end of the weekend is indeed crowded to make the streets full of traffic jams everywhere. Looks like the restaurant is busy seeing the difficulty of myself parking the car in the parking lot.

I got out of the car and walked up to the front door of the restaurant, but my steps stopped. There was a slight doubt seeping into the mind.

Is this the right thing? This is dad's business. But I'm his son . I deserve to know what's going on and what they're going to talk about.

Where are they sitting?

I gasped in shock as someone patted me on the shoulder from behind then turned my head back. Daniel stood looking at me.

"Bro lo at the resto?" my many.

"Yes. Today's weekend bro. I have to help others."

"Yes a real rame."

"Lo himself?" his forehead frowned.

"Yes Niel. You see my bokap?"

"Omm Anton?"

"Yes according to who? I only have one bokap Daniel," I said sewot.

"Looking Bar. Bokap you above, in the second private room yes mama and Reynand."

"It's been a while?"

"Not just yet Mama and Reynand got upstairs."

"Oh okay, thanks Niel." I hurried up the stairs.

Reynand is also here**?

Without a doubt I immediately opened the door to Daniel's two private room restaurant. Suddenly the three of them were shocked staring out at me who was standing in front of the door.

"Baruna ...," said Father slowly.

I walked up to their table.

"Dad, what exactly are you planning?" Without further ado, I immediately asked something that made me curious.

"Sit the bar" he ordered.

I pulled the chair in front of me and sat facing them. Our eyes stared at each other without words. Reynand's face was so serious that it made me uneasy. This meeting seems to be talking about something very serious.

I saw my father take a deep breath, gathering all the courage he had to speak.

"Aina, I really want to apologize to you for all my past mistakes. Sorry for doing all that violence to you."

Wait, did I hear wrong? The violence? What violence? I don't understand at all.

Aunt Aina gulped at my father's words. His usual haughty-looking facial water slowly disappeared replaced by a shady face with slightly raised eyes glazed over with all the weight he felt for years.

Reynand turned her head while gently rubbing her mother's back calmed her down. I who saw the scene really had no idea what they were going to talk about next.

Aunty Aina's tears started to flow. The tears fell unbearably. He then wiped it with some tissue he had brought.

"Ma, is Mama strong?" ask Reynand.

Aunt Aina nodded. Dad looks awry seeing his ex-wife.

"Wait for Dad, I don't understand what you're talking about at all" I said interrupting their conversation.

"You just shut up and listen to the bar" Dad said.

"Can we talk alone?" Aunt Aina pleads.

"Why? Let these kids know how cruelly I tortured you. They're all grown-ups. They've got to understand what her father's been doing all this time."

Aunt Aina opened her eyes and spoke, "Alright I have wanted to talk about this for a long time. Then where's your wife? Is he afraid to talk about this in front of me? Woman snatch men's husbands."

The deg!

Snatch people's husbands? Especially this? What did she mean? If not, then who else**?

"Meri is looking after my father who has not recovered properly. Don't involve him 'cause I started it all first."

"I don't want to forgive those of you who hurt me like this. Look how many traumatic things I've been through until now to get up and start my business again. Especially if your father intends to give all his inheritance to Baruna. My son won't get anything from his real father!" sahut Aunt Aina vented her anger and got up from her seat. "Let's Rey get out of here. Your father's words defending his wife really can't be accepted."

Aunt Aina hurriedly stepped out of the private room of the restaurant followed by Reynand who was struggling to catch up with her mother.

I saw my own pensive father continue to flinch without saying a word. My mind floated with various question marks. I really don't understand what happened.
