The Marriage Order
S3 is coming at me

Sheryl Pov's

Two weeks later ....

Baruna had not yet returned home, while her parents had been at home since yesterday. Even though he told me to go back to the Asyraf family residence, I decided to stay home with my own family.

I know that my whole family must have a big question mark on their minds. How not? Every time they talked about me and Baruna, I wasn't too interested in talking about it. But my reaction would be different when talking about my son-in-law. Very enthusiastic and do not want to miss a little development. Like this morning at the dinner table. Papa asked his son-in-law.

"Hear that Anton and Meri have returned to Jakarta, but strangely Baruna did not come home with them. Do you know why he didn't come home?" Papa suddenly directed his gaze at me.

I stopped the chewing and immediately replied, "There's another job like that."

"Oh .... Yes, too, yes. Anton's gonna be sick, so all the work there, he's all gonna have to do it."

I did not respond and instead fell silent while grumbling inwardly.

No, Pa. It's not Anton's father who's sick at the moment. The little boy and the woman that made him have to stay there.

I don't know whose fault. Since that incident, our relationship has been cold. They rarely exchange news and fight more often. Moreover, he could not choose me and left his son who was undergoing treatment there. And I can't force it at all.

Mama and Kak Reza looked at each other. I'm sure they smelled something that went wrong, but both of them preferred silence. Unlike Kak Reza who usually always wanted to know the state of our relationship, Kak Reza this time seemed indifferent because he was busy preparing for his wedding which will be held soon.

"Today's your control schedule, isn't it?" mama said suddenly.

"Yes, Ma" I replied, looking down and grabbing a spoon and continuing to eat breakfast.

"Mama will accompany you to control, yes," he added.

Still in the same position, I can't stand it. A tear seemed to be about to slide as soon as she heard Mama's words. Not Baruna who was beside me when the control later, even Mama who offered herself.

I quickly wiped it, then shook slowly. "It's not necessary, Ma. Later after work I'll go alone."

"Sister friend, yes," said Kak Reza suddenly.

"No need. Today didn't Big Brother have an appointment to go with Kak Dita?" I-i refused.

"Yes, anyway." Brother Reza pulled his lip line a little.

"Whatever accompanies.'" Papa offered himself.

"No, Pa. I can do it myself. I'm not a little Papa kid who's going nowhere to be accompanied, am I?" I lifted both corners of my lips in front of my first love. Papa's.

"Yes, okay. Papa believes. Be patient, Son. Even if Baruna is busy, she will definitely not ignore you."

Hearing him, I just nodded. Trying to smile in a bitterness of heart that does not subside. Who would be quiet while her husband is away from them because of a problem like mine?

I cleaned my desk, then left the room. Viona was still busy in front of her laptop.

"Vi, I go first, yeah. The doctor is coming soon" I said to him, glancing at the watch that showed at half-five in the afternoon.

I nodded back, then walked away from my secretary. About three minutes later, I arrived at the lobby. Walking in a bit of a hurry, lowered his head while continuing to look at the watch. It was really late, but the doctor always came on time.

"Sheryl."

An unfamiliar voice sounded in the ears. My steps stopped too. I looked up and saw the figure of the man I was avoiding standing right in front of me. Reynand.

"Reynand. What are you doing here?"

Reynand snorted, then grinned. "You think it feels good to ignore, huh?"

"I don't understand what you mean" I replied pretending not to understand.

Reynand knew about my and Baruna's problem with eavesdropping on my and Mother's conversation. From then on, he's been calling me incessantly. Even threatening to go to Tokyo gives Baruna a lesson. But I don't agree with that crazy idea. I didn't allow it and instead scolded him for meddling in our affairs.

"Don't pretend!" said.

"Whatever!"

I don't give a shit. Immediately proceed to leave the lobby. Just a few steps, Reynand stopped my steps. His hand grabbed my wrist from behind. Without saying a word he pulled it until I had to follow in his footsteps from behind.

"Rey! Unhand me!" I almost screamed. But he doesn't care. Keep walking and force into his car.

"I can't just sit around!" he said while wearing my seat belt. Then without further ado, he turned the steering wheel leaving the parking lot.

"Forced basis!" my macu.

"You forced me." Reynand replied without taking her eyes off the highway in front of her.

"What's? I didn't tell you to interfere. Is my attitude not clear enough, huh?!"

"It's very clear and I don't like it."

"Why don't you understand anyway, Rey? Our situation has changed. Is it so hard for you to let me go?"

Reynand did not answer. His face looks upset. His chest also looks flared and deflated. He seemed to be holding back emotions. Then, without a clear cue, he slammed the steering wheel to the edge of the road. His white sedan suddenly stopped. Quickly, Reynand opened his seatbelt. His body twisted, facing beside me. His two rounded eyes looked at me with great emotion.

"You really don't understand, do you? I didn't think about you. Father and Aunt Meri have just come home and you're just quietly waiting for her to finish taking care of the boy and his mother, huh?!"

His voice was so loud that it sounded in my ears. I answered him with the same feeling. Emotions that cannot be contained.

"Then what should I do, Rey? Let you go teach my husband a lesson? I can't .... He's her father." I looked down while stroking my stomach.

"Haish!" Reynand hit the steering wheel pissed.

Slowly the tears that I had worked so hard since the morning finally shook just like that. Reynand who saw me was panicking.

"The sher! Sheryl, I'm sorry. I ... I'm just ..." said the one who couldn't continue his sentence.

I'm shaking. Quickly wiped my tears. My chest that was a little tight due to following her emotions ended up with a long pull and breath many times. While Reynand was only watching me, waiting for me to calm down before he finally continued his drive.

I glanced back at my watch. Five minutes less than ten minutes. I turned to her, saying, "Today's my monthly control schedule. Can you take me to the hospital?"

Without asking much, Reynand nodded in agreement. A second later, he sped up his car.
