Sheryl Pov's
"Dad regretted everything that happened between us. Therefore, he wants to help you and Reynand. He said he would persuade Aunt Aina to approve of your relationship."
"No-no. What happened let it pass. You don't have to bother taking care of our relationship, Mom."
"It's not just your relationship, Sher. In addition to your relationship, I also have to improve his relationship with your Papa. They've been friends for a long time, but because of the breakup that's going on between us, they've stayed away. Dad and I have to fix it too."
"Mas Bars...." I said shrewdly.
Baruna placed her palm on the back of my hand. "I want you to find your happiness. Trust me, I really want to help you."
I hurriedly pulled my hand away from her. Somehow behaving in front of my ex-husband. His words sounded sincere, but no one knew how his heart was filled. I don't want to be indebted.
"Really, you don't have to go that far."
Alternatively, Baruna pursed her lips without comment. He then chose to sip orange juice in front of him while looking at me.
I hurriedly turned my attention to Rafael by making him joke.
Shortly after, we left the restaurant. The cheerful-looking Rafael did not also take his hand off me as if he did not want me to part from him.
"It looks like Rafael really likes you" Baruna said, watching the two of us. I didn't deny it, but just put on a small smile. It was really awkward to be near Rafael. The little boy I once hated now even managed to take my heart with his adorable manner since being inside the restaurant.
"Of course, Dad. Rafa likes Aunt Sheryl." Raphael responded to his father's words. His head looked up at Baruna.
"Then let go of your hand. Let's go home. Aunt Sheryl's still a lot of work, Rafa."
"No! I still want to play! I don't want to go home. I still want to play with Aunt Sheryl."
"Play with Mama at home" Baruna persuaded. But Rafael is still flinching. He threw his face away from us. Baruna with a bad look looked at me, "sorry, Sheryl. Rafa is so happy. Though I'm sure, you must still have other busyness."
I let out a slow breath. I feel guilty about disappointing that little boy. "I haven't decided to go back to the office yet."
"So, today Aunt Sheryl can accompany me to play?" Rafael returned excitedly.
I nodded with a small smile. Rafael let go of his hand. He raised his hand and jumped up and down to get my answer.
I think I owe this child in front of me. He had just managed to create calm and fun for me after what had happened. At least for today.
Rafael got into the car immediately. Meanwhile, Baruna immediately stepped towards the steering door. I grabbed the handle, but then I didn't pull it. My eyes seemed to wander, feeling that something was wrong. I felt like there were other people around us watching the movements here. But I didn't find anyone suspicious around the place.
"What's up?" baruna asked me a moment before pulling the door.
"No. There's nothing." I shook my head full of question marks.

Reynand Pov's
It was late in the evening when my meeting with a client was over. I rushed to Sheryl's desk. The bag is still there. He hasn't returned to the office and strangely hasn't contacted me. While trying to contact Sheryl, her phone was not active at all.
I decided to contact Indira. Before long, Indira finally answered my call.
"Yes, Brother?"
"Is Sheryl still with you? The phone's off." I asked in an anxious tone.
"Sherily? Didn't he go back to the office?" Indira asked back, but her tone sounded hesitant.
"you mean? He's not with you?" My anxiety is becoming.
"Yes, it was, but suddenly Sheryl decided to get out of the car because I had a fight with Mama. I thought he was going back to the office. Apparently not, brother?"
Mom's voice soon sounded, "What, Rey? You want to blame Mama again? He came down on his own, how could you blame your mama, huh?!"
"Mama must be the one who made her uncomfortable."
"Mama did nothing. Only he feels sensitive. Maybe, she's on pms?"
"Ck! We'll talk again, Ma. I don't want to argue with Mama."
Tut!
I disconnected the phone, intending to find it myself. Maybe he has returned to his home. Coincidentally, I saw Irene who was walking towards the lobby door. Apparently, he just finished overtime.
"Irene!"
The woman looked quickly. "Yes, Sir?"
"You know where Sheryl is? Did he call you?"
"Shery?" Irene frowned. Her gaze was on Sheryl's handbag I had brought from her desk, "that's...."
"Oh...." I took a look at Sheryl's bag, "she hasn't returned to the office and hasn't contacted me at all."
"If he doesn't call you, let alone me who's just a friend to him. Did you guys fight?"
I shook my head quickly. "No. We didn't fight. Our relationship is fine."
"I only met her this afternoon as she searched for Aina's mother. He seemed to be in a hurry."
"alright. Thank you, Ren."
Irene looked down, then paused. I continued my search. The only place is his home. He has nowhere else to go. And he can't avoid me anymore.

An hour later, a security guard opened the gate of the Kusuma residence. I drove into Sheryl's yard. A familiar car appeared there. Dad's Car.
What are you doing here? my mind was at the same time as a long breath for a moment.
I look around. Silent. Only the sound of crickets was heard unpretentious between the grass and the trees. I tried to call Sheryl back, but her phone's still off. There are a lot of question marks that make me think too much. Could it be that there was someone who kidnapped her like back then?
"Cannot be. No other Satya will kidnap her" I muttered.
I also continued my steps. Not far away, suddenly there was the voice of a man who was cursing not far from my position. I stopped and immediately hid a peek from behind a tree. Father and Om the Great were playing chess.
"You think I'll forgive you if you win from me? You dick!"
"You can never win from me, Gung! At least, accept my proposal."
"Your eldest son will never be able to get my blessing, Anton! You're a bad father. You must have taught it to Reynand. Someday, he'll definitely be a bad parent to my granddaughter."
"Hey, Gung! How can you say that? I never educated him. Rey is the result of the cold upbringing of my ex-wife. Consider my words well. Your daughter's crazy about him. Don't you want any more messages with me, huh?"
"Don't be so reckless! Your son's crazy about Sheryl. He waited for her until my daughter made–"
"Dad! Papa!"
I turned my head. Unexpectedly, Sheryl suddenly appears to stop their conversation. He's not alone. There was Baruna holding Rafael, tailing him from behind.
