S2 Crying Kayla

Two days later, on Sunday ....

Today I am preparing to go to the hospital to visit Kak Baruna. The watch on the wrist was showing at eight in the morning. I stuck myself in the mirror. My look feels perfect with red lipstick flirting. Thin white sweater tops with denim-colored skirts expand above the knees.

I walked to the dining room. Mama, Papa, and Kak Reza were already sitting together there waiting for me. This morning Papa suddenly asked for the answer to his question the day after tomorrow.

"Sheryl, what about Papa's question? Is there a decision?" ask Papa.

"However I choose Brother Baruna, Pa. I've decided there's no place for that man to infiltrate my heart."

"alright. If that's your final decision. Don't let that guy come near you again, son."

I'm nodding. It's been two days that Mr. Reynand has disappeared from my life. He has no communication at all. Maybe he gave up.

"What's up, Kay?"

"I want to meet. Where are you?"

"I'm on my way to the hospital."

"Oh, Baruna is still being treated?"

"Yes, Kay."

"May I see him, Sher?"

"of course. You're not working?"

"There is no schedule today. I'll be there at about nine."

Kayla hung up. Half an hour later we arrived at the hospital parking lot. I opened the car door, stepped out.

"Sir, I'll call you when I want to go home."

"Good, Non." Mr. Erwin immediately drove the car out of the parking lot.

Five minutes later, I was at the door, turning the handle to the right. The door is open. Aunty Meri was sitting on the couch, calling someone. His eyes glanced at me. Then, stop the conversation. He immediately hung up his phone looking at me.

"Sheryl," she called out, hugging me right away.

I welcome his embrace. "Tante, how are you?"

"Good, sweetie."

"Sister Baruna, still asleep?" I asked while glancing my eyes at him.

"Yes. He couldn't sleep last night. Withstanding pain."

"Pity Sister Baruna" I said as I approached and looked at her. Immediately, kiss her forehead and greet her with a whisper of encouragement, "Good morning, dear."

I turned my body. My body jumped in shock when I realized my hand was being pulled. I looked towards him. His eyes were already open with a smile on his lips. He pulled his body to the end of the bed.

"Here!" His hand patted the edge of the bed telling me to sit next to him.

Aunt Meri looked at us while shaking her head. She smiled and said, "Mother go home first, son. Don't be naughty!"

Brother Baruna nodded. Aunt Meri left us out of the room. This man then wrapped his sturdy arm around my waist and buried his face in my shoulder.

"I miss you, my dear."

"I miss you too." I looked back until our faces met each other, so close.

Baruna sister restlessly put her lips on my lips for a moment. It made me surprised by his actions. Then he smiled widely.

"Boy," my protest laughed.

"You like it too."

Not long after, there was a knock on the door. I stood up and opened the door. A tall woman wearing sunglasses stood in front of me.

"Kylas." I grabbed his shoulder and we hugged. His face looked flat at me. I don't know what happened to him.

Kayla took off my arms and walked over to Baruna. He put his hands on the table, immediately removed the sunglasses that had been worn, and put them in a bag.

"Baruna, how are you?" tanyanya smiled.

"This way. You can see for yourself."

"Sit, Kay!" I told him to sit on the couch. He sat in the middle of the sofa, followed by me sitting in front of him.

"How are you, Sheryl?" ask her with a grin.

"I'm fine." I answered the question with a question in my head.

"Baruna, you're very lucky to have a lover that other people's lovers want" he said suddenly.

Baruna brother suddenly raised his eyebrows in surprise. This beautiful woman in front of me said such a thing frontally in front of us.

"You mean Reynand, Kay?" asked Baruna unsure.

Kayla exhaled a rough breath. He whispered, "I want to speak to you with four eyes. I'll wait for you in the lobby cafe."

I'm nodding. Then lead Kayla to the front door. The girl left with a shunt step. I think I should talk to him.

"Darling, I feel like there's something strange about Kayla's words. How do you think?" asked Baruna while frowning her forehead.

"Maybe he's still heartbroken, honey. I'll entertain him. Kayla's taking me to talk in the lobby cafe."

"Go! Accompany her."

"Then you?"

"Hey, I'm not a kid who has to be accompanied all day. I'll call you if I need anything."

I'm nodding. Go leave him immediately. My feelings are not good. Kayla must have known what happened.

The cafe looks empty. There were only two visitors there. One of them was a beautiful woman dressed elegantly. She is Kayla the model and actress who is on the rise lately. "Kay!" call me while walking closer to his desk.

"Sheryl, what do you want?" he asked while looking at my face flat.

"Strawberry milk shake."

"alright. I'll order it first." Kayla got up and walked towards the message table.

My heart keeps pounding. Feelings of doubt and fear burst into my heart. Not long after Kayla came with a tray of drinks in her hand. He put our drinks on the table.
